Store is a cool concept. I had purchased a fairly large item online for instore pickup. The box was large and awkward for me to carry to my car. A nice lady in the store went to ask for assistance from the male owner to help me put my item in my car. She came back and told me he said he was to busy unpacking what they had recieved and he was unavailable to assist. That to me is poor customer service. It would have taken less than a minute for him to help me out. I ended up having to take the item out of its box so I could get it to my car, which I wasn't happy about.

Went for the first time today and absolutely loved this store! Unbelievably organized, great selection of women's clothes/eclectic goods, and so very friendly. Husband and I drove from Baltimore to check the place out and will 100% be returning in the future. It's definitely worth the trip y'all!

Bought the dining table and chairs separately. They hold on it for me for about 3 days until I couldn’t find someone to look after my toddler or find transportation. They even helped me with the dissembling the table and its legs. They helped with loading it to my car. I would recommend this place. I will be definitely coming back to check their inventories every often now

Hands down the best store in the area! If you want a great price and amazing customer service, this is the store you want to shop in. They have a little bit of everything and you'll always leave with something. The prices start at 50% off the original and they can come down even further depending on the product. I've bought power tools, gas powered lawn equipment, lighting and more from here! Every single thing worked and was an incredible price. They have a great return policy too, just incase something doesn't work to your satisfaction. The owners are down to earth and outstanding people. Definitely give this place a chance, you'll be glad you did!

WARNING! I became addicted after my first trip to The Discount Store and the same may happen to you! The owners are outrageously welcoming, professional and laser focused on customer service. The inventory ranges from personal care items to chandeliers and everything is priced far below retail, typically 50%. AND they offer online and in person shopping. Stop in or check the website… You won't be disappointed!

This store is simply the best! The customer service is outstanding, rivaling that of Chick-fil-a. The deals they have are phenomenal! I have shopped here so many times! This store is a "best kept secret" of Harford County! I first heard about them when they sponsored a crab feast fundraiser, so I checked them out. I had so much fun searching the shelves for incredible deals. I got a sheet of "red bullseye" store earrings for $3 (80% off) and blackout curtains for $5! Their inventory is always changing so check back frequently.

Let me tell u about this place! It's what I've dreamed of doing but they have gone and done it, see I use to be a inventory specialist at a big box store and part of my job was marking down inventory, price changes and so on. After the product was the lowest marked it would go to a penny and we would have to throw it out...THROW IT AWAY....i hated doing, I would complain, I would ask what other things can I do but throw it out. Big companies don't care about selling it for super cheap they rather throw it away. What a shame! Then steps in a hero and that hero is The DIscount Store. They said oh no you don't to Big box stores we will take.it from here and they provide the peo0le with deep deep discounted goods and I can't tell u how much this means to the world. and us!! Thank you for all the hard work and the discounts.
