It was my first time and day ever in Maryland to visit my fiance we came here to shop. We was at the self checkout and was scanning my groceries. Well, the register asked for quantity, and I put how many I had and placed them in the bag. The woman that was at the self checkout ran up and asked me if I put something in the bag without scanning it. I informed her of what had happened, and she said we'll I have to check to my register to make sure. I felt really disrespected about this, and it embarrassed my fiance after her telling me this is her favorite store to shop. I will never go here again after being treated like this. If she had been doing her job instead of joking with her friend, she would have noticed what was going on. Besides, who is going to steal a $1.25 cucumber when there are other things worth more.

Nice local grocery store with the best prices and weekly sales. Be sure to get a Shoprite Price Plus card and download the Shoprite app so you can browse for the sale items then tap on it to load it onto your card.If you’re age 62 or older, shop on Tuesday’s and request your “Senior Discount” which seems to max out at $2.50 (or 10% discount)?

The young woman that works there, Elizabeth, totally ‘blows me away’! I quite often bring my elderly neighbor there to shop, and on several occasions, I’ve seen her go out of her way to help my neighbor; making her aware of ‘specials’, making her aware of items in the sale papers, helping her with using the self serve checkout (if she wishes to use it); well, I could go on and on, but, needless to say, Elizabeth is PRICELESS!!!

Great selection of Gluten free food in pantry area. Frozen foods tend to be everywhere, a bit confusing, but usually find what I need. No one greats you or really says anything to you throughout the store. I get it with a new generation but smile and say hi to customers or good afternoon/evening. Over all not bad and will go back.

Better than Forest Hill location, but still terrible. Klein's Shop Rite stores have not been run well ever since Mr. Klein passed away. That man was a fantastic businessman, but his legacy is now being ruined.Produce usually sucks, often moldy, no one rotates stock, and prices are always wrong. Every time I shop here, I lose money from at least one of the above issues. The Customer Service counters are rude and combative, so I stopped trying to return stale product because I'm sick of being humiliated and gaslit for bringing their problems to their attention. I've finally realized I am throwing away too much money shopping here ($5-20 EVERY SINGLE VISIT), thus, I no longer shop here. I now shop at Giant, and no longer encounter these issues. I don't feel like I'm paying any more for groceries at Giant because I'm saving money overall now, and I no longer have to take groceries out of the shopping bags and throw them straight into the trash. Shop Rite used to have great prices, but with recent inflation, they are now just as pricey as the other grocery stores. Also, selection of certain types of items, at this location specifically, is very minimal. Hard to shop with allergies, there just aren't enough options here.

I love the local grocery store in town. It's easy to navigate and find items even though sometimes the aisles can be slightly narrow for comfort. The produce is usually fresh and neatly displayed. They only get one star removed because the bakery could be improved or expanded. I'd love to be able to get good fresh bread in town.

So disappointed I go there at 9 am this morning and their deli is closed due to not having any one to work. Unbelievable!! Maybe you should offer your employees a little more to help out in time of need. Your pre cut selection only had cheese. You could here 2 employees talking in the back.

They are okay, personally I can't get over the dirty check out belts, so I do not shop there often. Meats and produce have been a problem, so if I do shop there it's usually for packaged/boxed items on sale.We do enjoy their bakery items for special occasions, however.

Store needs a major renovation and cleaning and improved lighting. Employees at Customer Service need to be a little friendlier. Would be good to have a checkout with 10 or less items. Also leave some carts in the outside stalls so handicapped people are able to grab one for ease of walking. Another words don’t bring all of them into the store.

Placed a catering order, came in around 12pm to pick up. Took a few minutes to get everything prepped, but Sam at the deli was super helpful and answered all my questions, and was exceptionally nice. She has great customer service skills! Check out was easy, and the lady was quick, when I was putting my food away I had my cart taken away by Liam, who was very nice as well. Store is a little outdated, and there was a good amount of dusting necessary so -1 star.

Yes the store is old and tired looking. The customer service is worse. They simply could care less if a customer is having a problem and an issue. I was in this morning at about 9 AM. The store was busy. They were out of what I came for and then, one open register. A long line. When I failed to enter the correct code, (my wife usually does this) I was fined $13.11. The cashier told me I could call in to get this reimbursed. When I called, I was told no. I would have to drive back in to town. This is a scam and it worked on me today. Good-bye Shopright. Keep shopping here and it will happen to you too.

The worst......customer service is non existent! My husband asked for help looking for organic black beans. The red headed woman about early 30's wasn't any help. She just told my husband where he can find them. He already looked on aisle #1. The lady couldn't get off her lazy butt to help him or even see if there were more in the back.

This store is alright, decent stock of everything and nice employees. This store seems cheaper than the shoprite in forest hill. The deli department is dreadfully slow, it can sometimes take up to 30 minutes to be waited on (no joke i won't even try to get fresh deli from the store, even before the pandemic this was a huge issue). Very small selection of fresh bread. Parking lot is a pain in the butt.

Been a customer here since I was small. This store tends to be cheaper than other grocery stores near it and carries more local products. It's also been noticably better stocked than its competitors in recent months. But it is an old grocery store, so while I see that as part of its charm, be aware that both it and its parking lot can be quite cramped. As such, it tends to have less variety than larger stores.

I love this place because it is close to my house. My complaint???? There seems to be no date check happening in their produce or dairy department.. I bought smoked salmon cream cheese about a week or so ago and went to use it today (10/1/2020) and the expiration date said (4/7/2020) no joke. I've also had multiple problems with the bags of salad..

The pharmacy is wonderful!! They are extremely caring . When I ran into a problem with a medication that was urgently needed and was unable to get there , they went out of there way to deliver it to my home even though they don’t have a delivery driver right now . Thank you to all the kind staff that worked on 11/24/22

It's generally clean, and has a good selection, though not always easy to find things. They used to have better checkers and service, but now have younger ones and difficult automated stations too.Aldi eats their lunch on everyday pricing even though I use my ShopRite card, and the things I can't get at Aldi that ShopRite has, i'm still better off buying elsewhere.... It's too bad as I used to happily shop there and they are MUCH closer to my home, but I just can't justify going there any more.

The store its self seems to be well stocked and they offer rain checks. They double coupons and have competitive prices. As for friendliness, it all depends on the individual helping you. I have experienced some to be nice and kind, but others to be rather rude and unhelpful.

I like this location it's very quick and easy to get in and get out. It's smaller than most ShopRite grocery stores but that's to be expected with the size of the area that they have to work with. My only complaint about the store would be it seems very dark inside like the lights aren't working correctly. It could be me find out for yourself.

Have shopped at ShopRite Klein's since the opening, Great low prices! Very clean. Wide selection. Friendly & helpful staff. Bonus specials - free turkey, or ham (with a reasonable shopping $ total) each holiday. Love my ShopRite.

The sale started yesterday and the shelves were half empty. There were 3 items that I wanted and they didn't have. I usually go to Festival but since it was so hot we went to the one closest to our house. Sprouts will be a breathe of fresh air!
