I have been a loyal customer since my family moved to Bel Air 30 years ago. Up until now service has been very good. Now I find the service is mediocre at best. For over a 3 month period I find the store grossly understaffed and the employees questionable (they are not customer service oriented). Today I made a comment to one of your "check out" staff and my comment about pricing was immediately questioned. And rather than argue with the clerk and in the interest of time I simply said "forget it and check me out". I would suggest that in the future, all employees be trained in store products (especially produce) and instruction on "customer service". I don't know the clerk's name (but she had several facial piercings). This is a very poor reflection on your staff. And a poor example of customer service. Because of my concerns and your staff, I will not shop at Shoprite any longer.

I'm appalled my mother is an 77 year old black woman! She shops there all the time! Not one time has a cashier offered her a senior discount! The only way we know of this discount is because a Caucasian daughter and her mother was in the line and the cashier says I see why you brought your mom with you and offered the discount clearly that's an issue like my money spends the same way if not more! Then she offered after my mom asked!!

Greetings. I only went to Shop-Rite to purchase sherbet but decided to purchase a rotisserie chicken while there. I must say I was disappointed. The chicken had no zing or flavor to it. It was quite bland.

I used their shop rite curbside pick up for the second time and it was another great experience. The ladies that come out to the car are very friendly and speedy. This service is so helpful because my three month old daughter was in the car. And they color code the bags!! Blue bags=cold items. I will definitely recommend this service to others. Thank you shop rite!

The only grocery store I still go to now because they have never pestered me on not wearing a mask. Prices and selection are decent and the stores not too big. Only thing it can get pretty busy and crowed here sometimes so go in the middle of a weekday if you can its pretty quiet and calm then and its usually just old people roaming the aisles.

I was on a hunt for a seasonal product, which they did not have. They assisted me so I didn't have to roam all over the store. I finally found the seasonal item at Food Lion.

Great store with amazing produce and friendly employees. The self check out frustrating and slow at times leading me to avoiding it whenever possible. It's a constant "Please wait for assistance", or "remove it item from being area" every single time over and over again.

This complaint is not directed at Shoprite; however, though the images come from that store ~ all stores are presently guilty of this outrageous price-gouging of formerly free or drastically price reduced items.I am talking about bones. Some call them soup bones, some call them marrow bones, and I am old enough to remember that corner grocery stores would give them to their customers for their dogs.I would like one grocery chain to step up and correct the ridiculous practice of pricing bare bones, AT THE SAME PRICE AS THE MEAT THAT WAS REMOVED FROM THEM!How did this start and why do we accept it? God help anyone trying to cook for a family and think that they could economize and make soup using the bones as flavoring to a stock pot.Please zoom in on the price of the bones in the picture. They are priced nearly $9.00!!!! Even if you can afford it, I am asking you to boycott this practice. If they do not sell, hopefully the price will be reduced to the price they should be ~ drastically reduced to help anyone on a fixed income to make grocery ends meet.Please take the time to speak up at your local supermarket. Please help the poor. Thank you.

Shop Rite is locally owned by the Klein family. It's nice to have a locally owned grocery store chain. Their produce is great, as is their bakery. They often have great sales on meat. However, most of their prices tend to be high and the store is frequently disorganized and cluttered. Their employees tend to be very nice and helpful.

Love that fact that they have Boars Head brand cold cuts here. It makes a difference. Loved the variety of all the different types of frozen fish. The different varieties of food with great pricing. I actually felt like I was in NY again.

The deli service is beyond slow. I waited 46 minutes to have my lunchmeat sliced. My number was 42 and they were serving number 35 when I arrived. While there were three employees slicing meat, only two were waiting on the customers with numbers. The third employee was filling kiosk orders. Maybe when there is such a long line, the kiosk slicer should help the workers by waiting on customers. Just a thought.

Nice store. Wish the prices were visible. My mom is elderly and on a budget. We try to calculate what is being spent as the item is put in the cart. Today we went over and had to remove items. There was some one behind us that paid for the items we had to remove. So thankful for this lady. Please have prices visible we don't like playing the guessing game.

How about as long as I've lived in Harford County, I've never actually shopped at ShopRite. I went there to pick up a few items for my son using a gift card & that store is huge! I didn't even know where the dairy department was, then a nice employee directed me. Prices are comparable to where I shop regularly!👍🏽Not bad!

We had an issue with a sale but the two amazing women (Kate and Kim) at customer service were excellent in resolving it. I can count on less than one hand where I've had such quality and friendly customer service.

They make the best birthday cakes! The people who work in the bakery are so nice. Every time I try to order online I run into a problem with the website. Also a couple things aren’t listed on the website. So I end up calling the bakery anyway. They are so helpful. The cakes are beautiful. They taste so good, the icing isn’t that sickening sweet type.Highly recommend the bakery at ShopRite in the Festival!

It is a nice clean store, not usually any long lines. It is a large foot print, and I know there are supply chain issues but the store does have lots of empty shelves and lots of products that have been out of stock for months. There have also been items on the app that are not in the store.This is still a good story even though they continue to struggle with supply chain issuesThey could put some focus on the restrooms and the exhaust fans that are covered.

I love it very clean soon walk in you see all Bakery Good. It's so much the price are reasonable. Also they got non sugar Bakery Good so everyone can enjoy. All together clean. Just shop until you drop. Oh yes they even got children shop cart for kid learn how to shop no that I was amaze.

Super friendly staff. Cashier, Wendy (according to the receipt) asked if I wanted my meat, seafood and veggies bagged separately. She was very thoughtful and made sure my groceries did not cross contaminate. Great selections, fresh fruit, fresh seafood and very clean store. Super friendly staff.

Good selection of fruits, vegetables and meats. The deli staff gave my little girl cheese which was a huge hit. Good variety of coffee creamers as well. I will definitely be going here more often because of the variety in the selections across the board.

I wanted to thank "Carlos U" for the good customer service at the register. The gentleman before me was audibly impatient and kind of mean to Carlos. Carlos appeared unphased by this customer's rudeness when it became my turn. Carlos turned on the charm and was as pleasant as could be. Working as a cashier myself, letting mean customer's not get to you is sometimes difficult. I wish every employee contact could be as memorably pleasant.

I used to love this store but since covid prices have gone up, in addition to their bakery completely going down hill. I used to praise them to anyone asking where to get the best donuts in town. But now they are pre packed so you can't select your own 1/2 dozen or dozen. Not to mention go in and grab just one or two. The last box I bought was dry and we ended up throwing 1/2 of them out. What a disappointment.

Always has what the ads say it will have on sale and regulary priced items. I tend to go on "big shopping trips", instead of more often and smaller sized shopping days. Not one time have any of the staff given any hint of negative attitude towards the amount of products we do. I know that's their job, but some places, you can come across have employee's who express a sign of displeasure with this situation. Anyway, I never have that here!! Love it, and they were one of the first on board with online shopping and their website was programmed, I guess that's how to say it, was the smoothest and efficient, that I found. Also including with curbside pickup and delivery options. Sorry for the length but worth it in my opinion.

This is my go-to store for all groceries. It is usually clean and usually has what I need. My only complaint is the amount of stocking going on during the day that blocks the shelves and the personal in house shoppers that nearly run you over to get to the products for the people they are shopping for.

The first time I had to bring my food back because it was not edible it was PURE SALT then my remake I was given less than what I already paid for !! But it’s ok I’ll never go back and I’m leaving an honest review.. I wish I could leave ZERO stars for this location .👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾 ✌🏽

Lot of selection and decent prices. Things are spread out so you'll get your steps in but they have a large assortment of food and produce. Parking can be kind of a hassle due to the amount of people that visit Festival, not that spots are hard to find but rather just getting around.

One of the best grocery stores you can go to anywhere in America or for that matter anywhere in the world sometimes I think Americans don't realize how good we've got it it's a great place to clean it's got everything you can imagine eating and then some.
