Overpriced. Expected to pay $0.50- $2 extra on every item.Go in to get steamed shirmp, worker working the counter says he closing and can’t steam. Meanwhile when I walked up he was in full conversation talking with another worker.If you are closed turn the lights out and take the seafood out of the case. There are many options for your grocery Safeway won’t be ours!

Nice store. Only problem is a lot of sale tags are out of date and it's already difficult for an old lady like me to use the phone app and you don't get to see if the prices are right until after you scan everything and type phone number. Not being able to trust the tags on shelf make it more difficult

No issues with store. Just the nasty little girl at customer service with the long brown hair. She's going. She's always got a annoyed look on her face and never ever pleasant. Definitely not like the other customer service people you had. She SHOULD NOT be in customer service. I had a scratch off. It was ripped. I was just gonna scan it and give the slip. Another woman was taking to long so I handed to the nasty girl. She gave me such attitude. Talked to me like I was a little kid. Like she was trying to make me feel dumb. Saying she can't do it but she sill this time. I get that. My fault. However the way she treated me was wrong. She didn't have to take it. She couldve handed it back. Nope. She just talked down to me that she won't do it again . That's fine. It was 100 dollars and was gonna ship but didn't. Went to Shoprite. So I will never step foot in that store again except going to Starbucks.I love the people there and they make great drinks.So I wont go there anymore. Unless you get your other customer service lady back. How she has a job in customer service is beyond me.

Worstiest grocery store ever can't some of there prices don't match up to there products some ppl snippy especially assistant manager the assistant manager thrin me and harassed and accused me of inappropriate behavior I'll never forget it or EVER GO BACK TO THERE I hate that store now after the way I was treated that place should be shutdown bc the way ppl get treated in there plus false advertisement.

I want to express my gratitude to the bakery staff . I was frustrated for having problems with my cake order in another bakery. With just one week notice , they took my order . The cake was beautiful exactly what I asked for. Thanks for making my 50th birthday even more special.

The family was looking forward to a great meal with the centerpiece being a Safeway rib roast. Well that turned out to be just a very expensive hunk of tough meat for the trash can.Great way to ruin a holiday meal Safeway!

Horrible customer service. 0 stars. I am sick and have a broken ankle. I ordered to have my groceries delivered. I received the wrong order--literally nothing I would eat. I put it in the freezer so I can give it to neighbors at another time. Apparently, without informing their customers, they use the horrendous DoorDash for delivery. Not only would they not help me ensure I have the tea and dinner that were included in my order tonight, they wouldn't refund my money!!!!! They told me I had to call DoorDash. I told them that wouldn't work and they said it's not their problem, as the customer I paid DoorDash. Well, I didn't, I paid Safeway. I call DoorDash already knowing the outcome, and low and behold, they can't refund me either!! Since I didn't order through them, they can't refund me. After waiting on hold for 15 min, DoorDash transferred me back to Safeway customer service, who is supposedly refunding my money. I have never received such poor treatment or customer service from any company other than food delivery services (i.e., DoorDash, GrubHub, Uber Eats). I will be informing as many people I can about this and will NEVER shop there again.

Decided to get another cake.this time since I love chocolate I chose a chocolate ganache cake with fresh fruit .overall the cake was good.the ganache was very good this was a very indulgent and rich cake.i would give it a 4out of 5stars.

Best bakery in town. Jumbo shrimp $4.99 lb. High quality meat @ reasonable prices. Boneless petite sirloin $5.99 lb .BUT. Dont shop after 9pm. Although it's open til 11, Only 1 door is open and only self service registers are open even though plenty of staff are standing around..

The WORST food store in the area! Within one week I bought two items that turned out to be rotten: store brand ice cream that appeared to be left out, then refrozen; and cream cheese that was 1/3 mold. Ugh. And the manager doesn't seem to care. Unfortunately, they are the closest store to me, so I will only pick up essential items and check for freshness before leaving. Beware!!As a follow-up, I tried to call Safeway like they requested me to, but they put me on hold and I waited, and I waited, and I waited.

This store offers the best quick and easy organic meals. Staff is very friendly. Produce may cost a bit more here than other grocery stores but the quality and regular specials on food here keeps me coming back.

Not that it is a bad store but if at 8:30pm on a Friday night all you have is self checkout I'm not shopping there. Not going to cut a young or old person out of a job so a company can squeeze a few more cents per share. I went to Shoprite and had a cashier.

I have been coming to this store for years and find the staff very friendly and helpful. The store is well stocked and clean. While this industry may have a large staff turn-over, there are a lot of the staff that have been there for years, and I have to say they are one of the main reasons I shop at this Safeway. They are very friendly, greet you, take time to help and even give suggestions. Every department is excellent. While some items may be a little pricey, you will always find good deals. My first choice for grocery shopping!

Went in the day before Thanksgiving looking for sage. Found it in the spice isle. I tried 3 other stores they had none. It was about 11am. I was very impressed as I walked through the store as employees were restocking every where throughout the store, it was clean and the employees I encountered were happy and smiling! Checkout was easy and fast. Thanks

I ordered a vegetable tray 3 days ago. I tried to order it through the app, which proved impossible. So, I called and ordered a $21.99 vegetable tray. When I went to pick it up, they gave me a $13.99 fruit tray. The first person I spoke to said, "No problem, I'll have it ready in 10 minutes. When I went to pick it up, I received a $13.99 vegetable tray and got a lecture from Steve in the produce department. It will be the last time I ever order anything from Safeway. I will drive the extra miles to Wegmen's. I'm so disappointed!

Overall, it's a good grocery store. The reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that the prices are high. But their bakery has some of my families favorite muffins and bagels.

This was before the roof collapse a fabulous place to shop. It was clean and bright and well merchandised with common and unique things. Now it's like shopping in a factory that was converted. Dim lighting, badly maintained. I mean who wants to shop somewhere with open bags of chips in the snack aisle. Not me. It's worse than a Walmart with debris

Nice store. Huge and clean. But product placement isn't intuitive. They had bagged popcorn in a whole isle separate from the bags of chips. I didn't understand that. I had to ask employees where they were. Employees were helpful and friendly.

It's a nice place. I go there for the peanuts. They always have them. (For the squirrels and Blue Jays) They have a lot of good prices on things but a lot of their prices are high compared to where I normally do my grocery shopping. Great selection of fresh veggies and meats though. Sometimes it's not about cost but quality, and they get 5 stars for quality!

Well lit and always clean inside. Prices can be a little high compared to other stores in the area but the deals are amazing.Highlight of the store is the Starbucks. All the workers there are fantastic and honestly make the best drinks I've ever had from a Starbucks.

Good selection of produce, meats, and usually well stocked without staff blocking the aisles re-stocking constantly. A little pricy on some stuff, but that's most places now. Like the app much better since they've re-done it, much easier to navigate.

My parents especially my father has been going there for many years. If you have a club card, they have very very good deals if you get the things that are on sale with your Club card. It's very clean, right in a location where you can get almost anything at other stores around it. They have several self checkout lanes and they come to you fairly quickly if you have a problem, which I think is a very good thing. I highly recommend this particular Safeway:-)

This one employ named Kelly harasses me every time I’m in the store. She follows me around and doesn’t let me check out until she goes through all my bags and checks every thing. Terrible shopping experience!

Most Safeways are very good. I'm near acme but ant chance I get, I will go to Safeway. The green grapes I got there are crunchy and sweet where the acme ones are hit and miss. Even Walmarts grapes are better!

So they keep the express lane closed and they have 1 cashier open at 5 in the evening. Then you get to check yourself out. Shouldn't I get some sort of discount by saving this corporation from having to pay for cashiers?
