I placed an order with Richardson's and they came through in a big-way.My wife was absolutely thrilled with the flowers and said that the gentleman that delivered them was as nice as could possibly be.THANK YOU RICHARDSON'S FOR KEEPING ME OUT OF THE DOG-HOUSE! The live plant arrangement I ordered was perfect for an unfortunate occasion. I had it delivered to a family member in MD while I live in VA. The family member wasn't home, so they left the plant with a neighbor and notified me about every detail. Great customer service. Also, the pot that the plant was in was gorgeous; I would love to know where they get their pots from.

I've had lots of prior positive experiences with Richardson's, but my most recent experience was horrible.I ordered flowers for my wife's birthday, which is near Christmas, but I wanted to make sure it was clear that they were birthday flowers. I found an arrangement that didn't look at all like it was designed for Christmas, included her favorite flower, and noted when I ordered that it was for a birthday. I also spent extra money for the premium size.On the day of my wife's birthday, the flowers were delivered. Pretty much anything and everything that could be substituted, was substituted. And it looked like it was an arrangement for your Christmas table centerpiece. It was also very clearly the standard size, not the premium size. We were both disappointed. And I haven't the slightest clue what my extra money was for--maybe all the flowers they substituted (that made the arrangement far worse) cost more money?I sent Richardson's a message within an hour of delivery to voice my complaints about the arrangement. It's been about three weeks. No response.I don't think I've ever gone out of my way to leave a review (good or bad), but for whatever reason, I cannot shake the bad taste it left in my mouth. Maybe it's all of the auto-generated emails from Richardson's asking me what I thought of the flowers.Just to be clear. Several very positive experiences. One really horrible one. And I think the stone silence from Richardson's has compounded how the bad experience makes me think about them.EDIT: The assistant manager for the store reached out to me, apologized for my experience, and expressed a desire to make it right. Although I am still disappointed by the initial lack of response, I thought the interest in ensuring customer satisfaction was genuine. I was on the fence about whether I would continue buying from Richardson's, but after my conversation with their staff, I am sure I will be going back to them the next time we want flowers.

The birthday arrangement I sent to a friend the end of March was beautiful. The flowers were fresh, vibrant, and fragrant!Fragrance is important!!It tells you that the flowers were stored at the right temperature all through the process and therefore are fresh! I had an excellent experience using your site and your florist. I ordered a Tangerine Twist arrangement in the afternoon on 12/22/23 and it was delivered by about 10:00 AM on 12/23/23. The arrangement was beautiful and protected well. The delivery man was courteous and friendly. The personal note that I had typed was printed accurately and was presented well. I first met Richardson's Flowers at a bridal expo I attended over a year before my wedding. From the moment I walked up to the vendor table it smelled like flowers and I knew that was exactly what I wanted for my wedding day. I scheduled an initial consultation appointment with them and met Jane. Jane was AMAZING! She listened to what I wanted and put her little spin on design to make my arrangements perfect. I did everything from the tall and big floral centerpieces all the way down to the boutonnieres with her and all the flowers were of great quality and smelled amazing! I got a first look into my reception space before guests were able to enter and when I walked into the room it smelled liked flowers just like it did at the vendor table. Additionally a big bonus for me... they are very budget friendly and did not over charge just because it was a wedding! I cannot say enough good things about Jane and everyone at Richardson's Flowers. Thank you for making my day perfect!

Went there 2/23/24 about 9:30 a.m. Bell chimed as my Mom and I walked in. We walked around the entire place twice all the while talking to each other. No one ever came out from the back to offer help. We ended up going to Wegmans and getting beautiful flowers for a fraction of the prices we saw at Richardson's.
