The small tanks are extremely overstocked with fish. The kois barely had room. A couple had bent tails and looked like their scales were coming off. A beautiful black Moore the size of my hand was in another small box with two other decent size fish. The Moore could barely move around without hitting another fish. Some of them seem like they're just sitting in place in their tanks. I assume they're expecting to be temporary so they put tons in one little box.

I was in town visiting and I’ve used their groomer services before with Claudia. Claudia I feel like cared about the dogs and took her time. A few days ago I had an appt with Jessica at 2:30pm and she finished the appt quickly. I thought wow she finished quick but it wasn’t until later that day I realized my dog had marks behind his ears. I think it’s from his nails being so sharp after the cut when he is scratching himself behind the ears it’s causing to cut himself. His nails were cut down and they are sharp. I’m not sure if with Claudia and other groomers they do something to soften down the nails but I’ve never experienced this. Watching this and treating it to avoid infection.Would not recommend getting dog haircut by Jessica as the appt was very rushed leaving my dog with sharp nails resulting in him cutting himself.

I take my dog for grooming and the cost of his food is cheaper here than on Amazon. I would give 5 stars if the grooming department had its own register to pay for services. There is enough space for that to happen. I hate having to stand in a long line for the one (two if you're lucky) registers. At the very least they could install a few self checkout registers if staffing is the issue.

I have been boarding my dog here for several years but they recently decided to not have any staff in the building over night. So all the pets are unattended for about 8-10 hours. For the $$$ they charge there should be staff here full time. I found another local place with over 200 5 star reviews that has 24 hr. staff on premises and cost less money.

I’m only giving 3 star due to customer service every time I came in. It was so hard to get help and when I did it seamed as if I was bothering them. I wanted to get some fish and each time I went in I was told by different people totally different amounts and types. After doing my own research and then piecing the 5 gallon tank I pulled the trigger on 4 fancy tailed guppies for my little girl. I still end up spending $200 for just 5 gallon tank, decorations, setup and fish. Just do your own research before you go on what you want.

Pet Salon always has issues.Never enough people.Hours to callback.Forgets to ask for my animal’s rabies vaccination card before appointment and thinks they can call my vet on a Saturday after hours to get it.A corporation if this size that exceeds profit YoY needs to pay more for their employees so they will effectively watch the training videos on how-to on entry level roles.

Paid $45 for my small dog to be groomed. The package online says it includes bath, brushing trimming of the feet and sanitary areas. No trim of the feet or sanitary area was done. I even asked the representative if he did it…He said yes. I’m not sure how my dog received a bath and still had Eye boogers that I removed myself.

Great selection and everything you need for your pup or other pet. I'd only warn you not to expect friendly welcoming service. They're quite cold and a bit abrasive, everytime I'm there. Shame really because it's a great store

We did training with our girl Padme at this location and every Saturday she loved coming and we loved being able to train her there! Heather was amazing to talk to and learn from and always helped us even though our pup is a crazy girl haha. Can't wait to come back and do the next level of training soon 😊

Took my dog to this location for a grooming service and he was nicked by the groomer. My puppy licked the cut excessively which is how I was able to notice there was a cut, at that point it had already been infected and ended in 2-3 visits to the vet to get him back in shape. The groomer never let me know she nicked my dog and when I called into the location they told me there was nothing they could do about it. Thankfully, Alex at the Abingdon Pet Smart gave me a discount the next time I got my dog groomed on their behalf. Completely unprofessional, will NEVER be back!

Attempted to get fish on 3 seperate occasions, each time no employee anywhere in sight. Pressing the "need an associate" button and waiting 10 to 15 minutes with no one showing up.Will be taking my business elsewhere

The adoption process here is a joke, and discriminatory to seniors. My parents are incredible pet parents. They’ve had cats almost my entire life. They’ve always taken incredible care of their cats. My family believes our pets ARE family. My parents were turned down because of their age!! They are perfectly able to adopt, wanted to adopt and were turned down because of the fact they are in their late 60’sto early 70’s?? ILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN YOUR ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN, and I’ll be sure to tell EVERYONE I know about your discriminatory practices.

Went today to this store with one of my birds, not the first time I bring my birds or pets to this supposedly animal friendly stores… Jamie which I guess its the manager in a very ride and unprofessional way asked me to leave the store because the bird wasn't on a leash or a cage… then says that that was posted on the entrance, where she failed to show us where… please make yourself a favor if you truly care for your pets and stay away from this store which clearly doesn't…. Attach are pics of the entrance where it shows nothing about any claimed policy

If I could rate no stars I would! I received the worst customer service at the bel air pet hotel location . I took my dog there to board while we went away for the weekend. I take her there with all paperwork records of shots. The guy working there would not except my dog because it did not specify wether her distemper was 6 months, or 1 year however, it had the date given which would still make the distemper good for 6 or 1 year. He gave me such a hard time and told me to take responsibility and obtain the information or I could not board her. As I tried to get the Information online he asked me to leave the area and go outside. Then he processed to say some curse words and joke with other employees. I decided I did not want my dog left there even if I did get the information. I then left and had to make other arrangements. This is supposed to be a pleasant convenient service and it was very I unpleasant and stressful! I would not recommend this place to anyone! The picture is of my records I had with dates! Very sad!

they do have everthing there that Im looking for but I have found a couple of bags of cat treats on the shelf expired and their lines are really long these things are not their fault however this is because they are really short handed just be aware.

I unexpectedly adopted two 6 week old kittens and had nothing for them other than a small crate. I went to petsmart without any knowledge of what I needed or how to care for my new babies. Erin was my saving grace as she walked me through each of the cat aisles and gave thoughtful recommendations. She spent so much time with me answering questions, teaching me every detail of how to care for the kittens. She really gave me the confidence I needed to go home with them. Thank you so much, Erin!!!

I just wanted to take a moment and highlight how AMAZING the grooming staff were at this location. My day started out horribly, but they made it much better . They were able to squeeze my fur baby in at the last minute and it made all the difference. I even was given a progress report after his bath. Words can not express how thankful I am . This location might be a bit farther out, but it is worth the drive . I’m definitely going to make this my “home” Petsmart !

Great service and friendly staff, The fish tanks in this store are basically always dark because they have disease issues with the fish. Been ongoing for about 6 months at the time of writing this review.

When you order and they say they don’t have it then you go and they have it on the shelf. Then you tell the manager and they ignore you (girl with pink hair take pride in the way you look ) they never even looked for it LAZY LAZY

Super impressed with the groomers within PetSmart. They were kind and gentle with my dog and patient with her when she got scared. The nail trim is great and the appropriate length. The woman who did the grooming was the lead (I regret that I didn't get her name), and she made my fur baby look super cute. We were styling as we walked out. Will definitely bring her back!

Excevier Cardona Posted a week ago that the Belair location did not have a sign that said your animal need to be leashed, However that policy is in their pictures on the store hours sign. I’m attaching the picture now of the same store hours sign with the same message. What’s really sad is they were fine with their bird being unleashed and underneath of ourselves in a dangerous manner. As a customer I was very concerned for their bird because they couldn’t get it out from under the shelf. No wonder they were asked to leave
