Great place in Bel Air to grab some nice beer. The location is awesome right in the heart of Bel Air. The inside is very spacious and has a great vibe. The beer is also great. I would have to say it is one of the best breweries in the area. I would recommend the beer to anyone. They had about 20 beers on tap so there is a beer for everyone at Independent.

We were driving through in our RV and stopped because this place was a Harvest Host. We loved, loved, loved it. The beer was great and the food truck on the property was yummy. We sat outside and the vibe was very chill and welcoming. Staff was super nice and it was nice to visit a couple minutes.

Excellent brewery. Stopped here after doing some hiking in the Bel air area. Good beer selection and lovely outdoor area to enjoy. Definitely worth a visit if you happen to be in the area.

Stopped here this afternoon for a cold one and wasn’t disappointed….this place is awesome and the atmosphere for craft beer, music and food trucks was stunning. Definitely will go back!

Many great beers to choose from and you can even grab a 32oz can to go, that they fill and seal right in front of you. There are also some great food trucks that stop by. The place is clean and inviting, and the staff is always friendly.

Many great beers to choose from and they also have some ciders/seltzers as well. Food trucks rotate but all have been good! Great atmosphere inside and out. Outdoor area have open air and tents as well depending on weather, so no need to worry.

We set up our RV across the street (Harvest Host) and spent most of the day here. The beer selection is great. We tried a few different brews, including some sours, a stout, IPA, hard cider, and hard seltzer. The food trucks were fantastic. We had Greek for lunch and cheese steaks for dinner. Our dog was allowed in the outside areas and the large tent area, so he was able to hang out and see lots of other dogs. They let him inside when we ordered, but not to stay. We had a really nice time and hope to return again on a future roadtrip.

This brewery has always been top of the list both pre and post covid, the selection of Maryland brewed beers is incredible, the staff is super knowledgeable and helpful if you aren't an avid beer drinker, they can make great recommendations. Plenty of seating and heaters for the winter time, if you bundle up in a hat and gloves you'll be super cozy with a delicious beer, summer time they have lawn games and live music. Also, best food trucks around! Never had to battle to find a place to sit and enjoy a beer.

Wonderful beer selection (most of them are gluten-free from what I understand!). It can get a little crowded and noisy on the weekends, but there is plenty of space to sit both outside and inside. I really enjoy the bottle cap art that they have displayed on the walls. They seem to be quite dog- and child-friendly as well.

Celebrated my fiancée's 30th birthday here. Appreciate that they are one of the few breweries open on a Monday. There was ample outdoor seating which made us feel very comfortable. In addition, they're dog friendly which was great since we have a 6 month year old puppy that isn't trustworthy to be home without us for long periods of time. The beer was pretty solid.

Great brewery which was surround by many other things. I could stay for five hour ! And never leave the area . Had a flight n enjoyed myself, guest edge a little too loud. But other than that, no complaints. Great brewery . Bel air is for beer

I was very excited to find a place open on a Monday!The atmosphere was great. Very laid back. Didn’t feel like I was in was in a downtown. Plenty of seating indoor & out. Family friendly.Very wide selection. IPA, Sours, Cider, Stouts. The third from the left in my pic had grape kool aid. It was really good. (And I was quite surprised)Staff was friendly.

We went to Independent Brewing Company in the middle of a craft beer exchange “research” trip. We traveled all over the area and had to come back to get our case of beer.Young Mark in the Funkhouse made us feel welcome and like a local family member. Young Mark was great explaining the layout of the land, how the brewery worked, and what it was all about.This brewery has great staff, an entertaining and welcome atmosphere, and some amazing smelling food trucks (please note - we only had beer at this stop in our journey).We hope when we are back to visit that Young Mark will grace us with his prescience and guidance once again.Until next time - Independent Brewing - we wish you the best and can’t wait to come visit you again.

I was here for a team event - best brewery I’ve been to so far. They had food trucks, quick lines for alcohol, and a good atmosphere overall. You can sit inside or sit outside, all up to you. Dog friendly.

My first time here...it was so very worth it. They have an awesome variety, not ridiculous expensive and plenty of space for everyone. I didn't feel rushed or crowded...it was an excellent environment. Great customer service. If you're looking for a good experience, go here and enjoy!

Very cool place, a lot of beer and dogs. Great music, friendly service. I was a rainy Saturday afternoon and packed. Parking and getting a table is tough but worth it. There was a food truck as well.

This brewhouse has a lot going on large indoor bar plus outdoor seating outdoor bar and usually food trucks. And live music when we were there over the weekend.Would like to go back when I'm in the area.That blue beer in my flight was a special funky sour beer Kool-Aid concoction. Was worth a taste.

Went for the first time and I must say, this place is amazing. I was able to talk with Phil the owner, very down to earth guy and extremely friendly, was great being able to talk beer with him. Now onto the beer, wow is what comes to mind, I am an IPA person and the hazy ipa life behind bars was amazing, of course i tried the popular carpe diem which was delicious as well. I did also try the devils triangle, a great dunkle weizen and the sled wrecker winter spiced ale was definitely another good one. I really enjoyed coming here with my parents and I will definitely be back and would recommend this to any craft beer lover out there!!!
