I have been a frequent shopper for quite some time now. I am in there about once a week. We now own 6 animals from Jacob. His store is always SUPER clean and his animals are very well taken care of. He will even let you hold some of them! My kids always love visiting there and Jacob is always very good with them. He lets them hold (almost) anything they want to and will answer their 8 billion questions. I highly recommend checking them out. And don’t hesitate to ask about something you don’t see because he more than likely can get it in for you.

I started shopping at Global Pets about 6 months ago in search of high quality feeder insects for my bearded dragon. The first time I visited, it was clear to me that the owner and staff are knowledgeable and truly care for their animals as well as their customers. I inquired about a calcium powder for my beardie, and Jacob (owner) literally climbed on his friend’s shoulders to give me a free sample from the storage attic. In my experience with Jacob, it is clear that he is a kind-hearted, humble person and his compassion is reflected throughout his store.Due to an unfortunate circumstance, I needed to downsize my giant 62 gallon terrarium as I am moving into a much smaller space. I called Jacob one day, and asked if he would want to trade tanks with me, not expecting a yes knowing that it is unconventional. I had hoped the larger tank would benefit him and his store as well as help my own situation. He kindly agreed to make the trade. I arrived to Global Pets yesterday to swap, and ended up leaving with a perfectly sized bioactive terrarium that will be much easier for me to transport. Before and after pictures attached.Even though I will be living further away, I will always make the drive to Global Pets. I hope this business continues to thrive for years to come, it is well deserved.

I went to take my Conure to get his nails trimmed for the first time. Jacob handled him so well and easy. He did a great job on his nails even though our bird was NOT very cooperative!😂 all of his animals in the shops look and seem very well taken care of ! Definitely looking forward to going back more !

Best pet store in Md HANDS DOWN. I purchase ALL of my feeders from Jake and got the COOLEST leopard gecko from his as well. He is so educated and will let you check out everything in the shop teaching you about all of the animals he has. ♥️♥️ can’t say enough good things about him

One of my favorite stores! They actually care about their animals and keep them in clean, appropriate sized tanks. I recently bought a leopard gecko from here and I love her so much! They were quick to answer any questions I had. Additionally, Jacob has been great to communicate with in regards to my new baby's care.

Jacob, the owner of Global Pets is wonderful! You will be welcomed by him and his amazing parrot, Rocky. He cares for, cleans and treats all his shop pets like his own. We have purchased a gargoyle gecko, axolotl and sun cheek conure from Global Pets and are happy with each one. Jacob has been helpful with all of our many questions before and after purchasing our pets. This is a great store to buy from and fun to visit to see the new creatures and birds!

Awesome local pet shop. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. I enjoy visiting to get reptile supplies, to check out the animals in the store, and chat with the staff. Super helpful and super friendly!

Went up to the store and the owner Jacob helped answer questions about my newly homed sun conure ( Winston ), he was very knowledgeable about alot of aspects to training and feeding my parrot, he has a wide variety of exotic pets and all of his birds are hand raised which makes them very sociable right off the get go. I can't recommend this pet store and everything Jacob has to offer enough. I live in Middle River and he is worth the drive, he also offers alot of great food options.

This little pet shop is awesome!! The store is always exceptionally clean and Jacob and his staff are very knowledgeable and helpful when you are trying to decide what you want. I purchased a suncheek conure and I believe this is the best place to purchase a bird. I have had the conure for 3 months and she has been healthy and smart. If you're looking for an exotic pet, I highly recommend Global Pets!!

I always have a great experience when I visit Global pets. As a mom of 3 dogs, 2 leopard geckos and 7 fish I can find everything I need! Jacob is always willing to take the time to explain what will work best for the animals I have. I have even switched my dog food to Ancestry that he carry’s and it’s working wonders. Please stop in and give them a try. You will not be disappointed!! Shop small. It’s worth it!!

Jacob was very friendly, My friend was left with a lizard from her EX and she had no idea how to take care of him. I called to see if Global Pets could help and he said bring him up and we will make sure to find him a good home. Thank you so much!!

We stopped in today on a whim, and I’m so glad we did! The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable, we will definitely be returning. My daughter and her friend were able to hold some of the reptiles and they loved interacting with the lovebirds. Although they couldn’t hold him, Rocky the parrot was also a big hit. The girls even got to leave with some crystals, which were very much appreciated! Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed.

Jacob is so freaking awesome! He has great customer service, is well-versed in his knowledge of the animals he sells, and is super down to Earth.His birds are sooooo beautiful, and his insects are healthy. His birds are super friendly and social... They really add to the already positive atmosphere.His prices are AMAZING! The first time I bought insects from him, I canceled my Petco membership that day!Check him out!

This is the best pet store around. We have already gotten several pets from here as well as ALL of our cages and accessories. Jacob is very knowledgeable and friendly. Prices are great for being a small shop! Can’t recommend enough.

Global Pets is by far the best pet store in the Harford county area. The kindness and knowledge of the owner is unmatched. With a wide selection of food and toys they have everything that your pet needs. I wouldn't recommend any place other than Global Pets!

Awesome little pet store. The owner seems to really take pride and care for the reptiles and small animals — also super knowledgeable. We bought some local dog treats - they have everything! I also love that they put the ecosystems together for you. The owner was super sweet with letting our 2 year old explore and pet the reptiles. Thanks so much - we will be back soon!

The best local pet store I’ve ever been to. I was super impressed with the high-end care terrariums and the animals being sold. You can tell the owner is extremely passionate in animal care. I wish we had more stores like this. I will definitely be returning frequently for my reptile care needs.

Best small pet shop in the area. Super clean store, healthy animals. We've gotten two birds from there. One was a rescue and one was from their breeder. Chadwell animal hospital actually congratulated us on the health and beauty of the Sun Cheek Conure that came from their breeder. We will be buying more birds from there.

Small shop good for reptile and parrot owners. There's not much for small pets, though. They do sell live birds, and I saw a cute beardie there.

I went there looking fish, and the store far succeeded my expectations! The shop owner was so nice, and all of the pets looked happy and healthy. I will most certainly be going back for my pets needs:)
