Love that this location is still open. Wonderful, friendly staff. Delicious, hot and crispy food. And of course the most delicious ice cream, no doubt. We didnt get a picture of our food but ice cream photos attached!Dietary restrictions: They dont have sugar free ice cream, only fat free.Parking: It’s located in the mall, so you have many options for parking.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Sign shows they do birthday parties there also!Wheelchair accessibility: Use Mall Wheelchair Access. Space is small in the front but the back side of the restaurant is much more open and spacious.

Wonderful service all around. They accommodated, all of my special requests regarding the preparing of my meal. Everyone was very courteous and friendly. You could see the kitchen, and how clean it was from the counter where you picked up an order. Definitely a recommended. Love their honey bbq chicken tender melt and their red skin masked potatoes are the best!Dietary restrictions: I can’t have a lot of butter and they were able to accommodate me by putting very little on my sandwich.

Lynn And Chris had such great customer service.The food was hot and delicious.My grandson has a peanut allergy and they were so careful with his food and ice cream preparation.I was so happy with our visitParking: Easy access to the door at the mall.Well lighted lot.

Got the 3 pick meal with soup( cold in restaurant), tea, and chicken quesadilla.Even though I ordered after joining daughter and friend who had their food before me, our waitress was able to get me started asap and eating soon after them. She got a very well deserved tip as friendly, checked on us and gave prompt carry out so we could beat storm starting outside.

I love this place. I have been coming here on and off since they opened which must be close to 50 years?This restaurant holds lots of fond memories and It is sad that it is attached to a dying Mall.On my last visit, the staff was friendly (ha!) and took care of us despite the fact that we (unknowingly) wandered in ten minutes before they were supposed to close.I'm not saying this is a high end fancy restaurant, but it is a nice place with decent food and ICE CREAM!I did notice the menu seemed to be streamlined since my last visit and prices were higher - but they are everywhere, right?I hope this place survives forever. I am a big fan.Parking: You have to walk from the parking lot to the restaurant in the Mall.Kid-friendliness: Yes!

The service was horrible!!!!!! We arrived at 5:45pm, it was dead. I was happy thinking we would get quick service until I heard the man behind us complaining about how long it took to get his meal, that should have been a red flag. I immediately ordered Kraft Mac and cheese for my 2 year old granddaughter it took 45 minutes for her to be served. I ordered ice cream for her from a different “rude” waitress because I couldn’t find ours. Our meals arrived while my Granddaughter was having dessert. I had to ask for our bill only to have her give me the receipt with no card! She kept my credit card! Such a stressful experience; never going back. No wonder they all closed down.

Food was on point.Horrible atmosphere and service.We were a 2 top.Thrown 8 menus.It took forever for someone to take our order and bring drinks.Especially with dessert being ice cream, and my stomach not able to hold much, I ordered a banana split, and asked it come out WITH our DINNER order, so I can eat what I can of my salad and take the rest home, I can't really do that with ice cream.We had to repeat the order SEVERAL times, flag someone down to get drinks and the banana split. We were not able to finish the banana split due to the timing of table delivery. There was literally one other table of 3 in the restaurant.Apparently, staff was too busy decorating and setting up for Karaoke night.Good Gawd. Maybe warn incoming customers this is going on before seating them.No, "How was everything?"When paying the bill

Second time TRYING to get seated at this location. Our family loves Friendly's ice cream but the service at this location is horrible recently.We usually arrive around 630 and wait for 5 minutes and after no greeting or acknowledgment (while seeing the manager come to register for to-go orders) we politely leave.There were only 3 tables seated and already eating their meals.Some staff has been here for over a decade and when they are here it's great. Unfortunately, that's not been the case here recently, I'm assuming they have moved on.I hope this gets the attention of management to address before we have another vacant spot in the Harford Mall.

Don't expect Friendly service as an employee at this location. The hostess and our waitress were hospitable towards us and the food was fine, but the manager was horrible. The restaurant isn't large, and she sat in the front, barking orders to employees and discussing schedules and upcoming events within earshot of diners. She told one male employee that he could no longer wear the sweatshirt (I'm assuming due to seasonal uniform change) and he needed to wear his shirt with his name on it. The manager thought it appropriate to then state to the hostess, who inquired about her own shirts that employees need to "earn their shirts". Why I was privvy to all of this information regarding uniforms as a diner is a mystery to me. The hostess couldn't properly host as she was consistently ordered around in an extremely unprofessional way to bus tables. Whenever she wasn't at her post she was then told to seat people, as if she wasn't doing her job. The entire meal was uncomfortable for my family. My child couldn't focus on our table conversation due to how loud the manager was speaking in the lobby. I mean, I'm not a restaurant owner but I cannot believe this is standard practice to discuss business with your employees from the dining room.

Place is absolutely horrible! They have messed up my order every time I've ever came for pick up. And they act like its my fault that they messed it up when I gave them specific instructions like cheese on the side. They can't get anything right. The whole establishment needs to be shut down . It has not changed over the 2 years I've came here.

We had the worst dining experience here last week. The service was lousy, the food cold and inedible. Our waitress ignored us. It took 2 1/2 hours for dinner and ice cream. We waited over a half hour for our waitress to come take a to go order (we told her we needed to place a to go order, and she said she "would be right back with us". We even asked the manager to send over our waitress. She yelled, through the restaurant, that table (whatever number we were) wanted us. The manager never followed up to make sure the waitress came over. And never even asked us what we needed help with. Ten (10!!!!) mins later our waitress finally came over. We placed our to go order, only to hear the manager complaining and telling at the waitress that it was too late at night to take food odrers (it was 20 till close!) Thankfully one of the other waitresses stood up for us telling the manager we waited a very long time to place the order. I wish she was our waitress! I know that many palaces are overworked and understaffed right now. We tried to be patient, but the lack of service was beyond acceptable given the fact that the two other waitresses were keeping up their tables no problem. It is also hard to be patient when your server is standing around chit chatting about other workers with the managers. She had time to talk and gossip, but not enough time to check if our food was ok, or if we needed anything? I was also very disappointed in the way the manager handled, or should I say didn't handle the situation. And to verbally complain about us ordering food, was not professional! We will not be spending our hard earned money that this location anymore!

I had a side salad which was fresh and plentiful and a bowl of clay chowder which was thick and creamy and full of chopped classic and potato. The only thing I didn't like was paying $3.99 for a glass of iced tea. Service was wonderful too.
