Wow, this place is so cool. I was looking for some ice cream and saw that they make the ice cream here using local milk. Ends up it's a whole farm! It seems they sell milk and meat products and even serve food before 6:30pm. The home made ice cream was fantastic and I wish I was in town long enough to try the food. There is a lovely outdoor seating area overlooking some fields and I got to enjoy my ice cream while watching the sunset.

This place is just ok. The only unique thing about it is that it's on a dairy farm, and I'm assuming the dairy for the ice cream comes from those cows. I don't see the appeal to go out of your way for this. Inside is kinda hectic with no clear ordering process and you have to look in a bunch of different places to figure out what to order. It looks like they employ kids without much supervisosion so don't expect excellent customer service or consistency in how things are severed.

I came up to Broom’s Bloom for a wildlife festival and ordered the Happy Hen lunch special while there. For my meal combo, I chose the crab quiche (they have so many delicious-sounding flavors to choose from!), mac-cheese, and the mini moo ice cream in pawpaw flavor. The quiche is personal-sized, which was a welcome surprise. There were lots of crab meat bits in the quiche, and the crust was nice and buttery. My first bite of the mac and cheese felt like a warm hug, it was heavenly! I’m basically a mac and cheese connoisseur, and this is hands-down the best mac I’ve had, EVER! The cheese is so flavorful, sharp, and perfectly aged; no fake cheese sauce in sight. The mac is simple, and the high-quality nature of the cheese elevates it to another level. And the cheese pull is absolutely *magnificent*!! It’s the cheese pull you’ve always dreamed about, the one you deserve. THIS MAC AND CHEESE WILL MAKE YOU BELIEVE IN GOD!!!The mini moo ice cream was a generous amount. The pawpaw flavor was so delicious and unique, and their other available flavors also sounded really tasty.Service was exemplary, 100/10! Everyone was prompt, friendly, and helpful; shoutout to Claire for being so cool! The bathrooms were clean, too.I love that their food is made in house using their own dairy products and ingredients from other local producers. If you’re in the area, you NEED to stop by Broom’s Bloom!! The food is fantastic, the prices more than reasonable, service is great, and you’re supporting local agriculture. What’s not to love?

Great Saturday lunch combos! The Mac n cheese was amazing with this chicken salad sandwich. Then it comes with a scoop of their famous ice cream!

I can't speak for the entire menu, but I CAN speak for the one item I ate during the PawPaw festival.... tha Maryland Mac and Cheese should be banned. It is that good. I mean, what genius thought of adding Maryland crab soup to Mac and cheese!?!? Give that person a medal because it works perfectly. The result is a creamy, old bay influenced, cheese bomb. So damn good.Go eat it!

Fantastic ice cream in a picturesque setting! The line might seem long and intimidating but it goes by quickly. The ice cream would be worth any wait though! Delicious and flavorful, there are many options. Sitting outside on the picnic tables and watching the sun set was amazing. Highly recommend!

Amazing, delicious, local and authentic dairy farm. A wide range of hot and cold menu items, as well as farm fresh produce and meat you can buy. Highly recommend the ice cream on a hot and sunny day. Prepare for it to be crowded!

We had the cream of crab soup, mozzarella pesto sandwich, and Mac n cheese. Everything was delicious. We grabbed a shake to go! The people working were extremely nice! Great pit stop on our way back to NJ.

My family & I visited Broom's Bloom Dairy around 6pm on a Sunday to finish off the night with a cold treat. The tables were full outside but the store was pretty empty. We waiting in line for less than 5 minutes, found a table top for 4 and received our ice cream right away. The staff was welcoming, the store was pretty clean and the ice cream was delicious!I convinced myself that I needed a small but I should have chosen a mini-moo. They give you alot of ice cream and I couldn't finish it.We enjoyed ourselves and will return.Side note, as we were leaving around 7pm, the line was out the door all the way to the parking lot.

I bought a quart at Shop Rite and I was disappointed. I bought the Carmel Cashew. I don't like how many small pieces of cashews there were. Normally if you get a lot of something it's good but there wasn't enough of the ice cream and I don't know where the caramel was !!!You don't have a choice for buying it at a store. Can't answer your questions.

This place has great food. Crab soup is thick with meat and vegetables. Delicious grilled cheese sandwich. Tuna sandwich is loaded. With the lunch specials you get a free little bowl of their great ice cream. We'll be back!

Nice people, nice views, decent ice cream. It took about 10 mins to get our ice cream, but it wasn’t such a bad wait with such a nice view and lots of outdoor seating on a nice day. I’d go there again- they also had (ice cream) pints to go, meat, eggs, bread, and milk!

Broom's Bloom Dairy is a local farm that has a wonderful store on the premises where you can purchase their own homemade icecream treats. You can also get homemade soups, sandwiches and other treats. The coffee milkshake is my favorite treat from here. This is a family friendly farm that has indoor and outdoor seating. You can also purchase ice cream in containers to go. There is plenty of room for the kids to stretch their legs and play while you relax.

The Maryland Mac with Cream of Crab is not available all year round, most likely limited to crab season. After ordering my last two visits, I will have to remember to come back in the off season so I can try something else on the menu.Dig through the thick cream of crab (not wallpaper paste) and just try to find that mac and cheese. It's like a pot of gold. Cooking shows are fond of saying ooey gooey when it comes to food like this. I'll just say they do have sealed take-out containers so you can have seconds. And thirds...But Broom's Bloom Dairy, and is primarily that to me, a creamery. I have indulged in several flavors, all tasty and did not coat my tongue. It is also a great place to consume ice cream in nice weather. Tables inside, tables outside, picnic tables under the trees or just walk around admiring the farmland with your cone. There's plenty of space for kids to run around when they're done. The only fault I find is indoor seating. They are open year-round and the indoor seating is tight in the winter time. Plenty of space to park, but there may be a waiting line inside or even out the door depending on the time of day and the weather.Tip: your GPS will be able to get you to an approximate location(it's a working farm). Look for the white 🐄on a hanging sign at the street entrance.

Delightfully quaint and friendly restaurant and dairy. The sunflowers are lovely in the fields behind the cafe. The food is tasty and the ice cream can't be beat. Not pricey but not fast food. Slow down and enjoy the moment.

This is a nice and local ice creamery in Northern MD, with a lot more popularity than you'd think. Apparently people travel a long time to come up here, and I can see that. I got a milkshake and my girlfriend got a mini moo size ice cream 🐮. It was pretty good, but apparently their Mac and cheese is amazing. Gonna have to come back. Didn't see Broom him/her/itself in person, but many photos of it on the walls. 8/10

I came from Tampa, FL. I've tried lots of ice cream. This place hands down, has the best I've tried! So creamy! It's better than many local shops in Tampa, and better than Jenni's ice cream too. It's such a natural and unmatched flavor, probably because the cows are in the fields behind the place. The owner (I think her name was Kate?) was kind and accommodating and allowed me to sample flavors and encouraged me to try more. Simply awesome! This is a must try location in Aberdeen, and probably all of Maryland imo.I had the Minced Meat Ice cream (no meat it all, it's actually akin to a rum raisin) and it was PHENOMENAL. I will be back!!!

Delicious food and ice cream, cozy atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Pretty much anything you could ask for all wrapped up in a classic local farm shop.Loved the thin mint ice cream I got, and can't wait to try the chocolate milk when we get home! My husband is psyched for fresh scrapple (I don't get the appeal, but whatever floats his boat 🤗)Also: Major brownie points for nice and inclusive all-gender bathrooms 😊

Ice Cream is out of this world good. Lots of flavors. Some are pretty weird, if that's you're thing, and it is my thing. Although I haven't gotten around to ordering the Sweet Corn flavor. Maybe next time. Lines can get pretty long, but they move along. And I'd rather wait for great ice cream than get average stuff fast. They have live music quite often and the bands are pretty good. At least the time U2 stopped by. Just kidding. It was U2, but they weren't very good. Just kidding. Seriously. Oh. The portions are huge, so if it's hot and the ice cream melts far or you aren't super hungry, you've got your work cut out for you.

We loved it! Located on a farm, you arrive to nice sized parking lot beside a moderate sized building which has a 2-3 refrigerators with meat and cheese and (primarily) ice cream. The counter and kitchen and a few tables comprise the rest of the inside, however, there is lots of nice seating with umbrellas outside to enjoy the country air and views of the farm. There are plenty of ever changing seasonal ice cream selections (we had a fun one called "end of maryland summer" which was vanilla ice cream with fresh sweet corn, old bay, and honey!). The ice cream cups / servings are very generous and are hand packed to fit in as much as possible - a great deal. Most importantly, it is very creamy and delicious, we were all thrilled with our choices. Also tried some beans/ chili which was also very flavorful (although much more to the sweet flavor, not spicy at all). Everything was reasonably priced and all the staff were very friendly. We were there over Labor Day weekend, and there were the tiniest of sunflower bushes just starting to grow, and they advised the next round of sunflowers won't be appearing until October. Definitely worth a visit!
