Haven't been there yet but my teacher brought me some Russian snacks from your store and I gotta admit I loved the taste of the snacks! I especially loved the Russian version of the Kit Kats (I thinks they are called "Bears in a forest" or something.) But I loved the candy! Definitely would recommend your candy to anyone looking for international treats!

Great selection of goods, but be careful, some stuff is way pass expiration date. Service... like in Russia... not necessarily to say “Hello” or “Thank you/you are welcome “ and of course no need to smile.

Warning to customers, store management, and supervising athorities:It was impossible to reach the store management in person or on the phone.The expiration date of some products is covered by stickers with translation that makes it impossible to find out the expiration date. And these products tasted old and unacceptable to consume.

Not a bad assortment of products, the quality of some products could be better (the bread is very hard and old, the apples look terrible, some candies are without wrappers, etc.). I am very upset by the service by the employees (some), especially the cashier - rudeness, as if they were doing a favor, absence from the cash register, working in the office area and returning to the cash register, serving without gloves, accepting money and taking food. In general - the store is a Soviet village store!!!

Excellent deli with Eastern Europe and some Mediterranean products. Enormous selection of cold cuts. Six kinds of kefir! Lots oof packaged goods and refrigerated products. Very reasonable prices. We go every few weeks. Not much English spoken so I use Google translate.

This place appeals to me. It had more options before Russia's invasion of Ukraine. If you want to buy something unique, I highly recommend this store. Their baking and deli are also excellent.

Extremely overpriced foods and some of them are very low quality or even expired. I’m Being objective here because I know few similar stores to compare to.While I was at the store, I saw two guys asking for return on the cake because it had mold.The owner is obviously only after money.You can’t be selling super cheap and low quality dumplings for 7$ per pound. It was my first and last time at this store.

Ok so those who know the Russian stores in the area can absolutely tell you the difference-- Stolichnaya hands down has the BEST customer service. The prices are also about the same, but even if something is 25 cents more, I would gladly pay the difference for their quality of service, which the other Russian store just doesn't compare to. No matter where we shop, if we are giving someone our business, we should be treated like they want us there, and Stolichnaya is definitely a cut above the rest. The food is all always fresh, and I've never had a problem with the expiration dates like in some other places... definitely check out the restaurant as well if you're looking for some delicious hot food. I've gotten their catering for large events and they are very tasty.

Great store to go in unless you dont know anything about russian food or culture. This store has a great variety of foods and deli meats and amazing delicacies from the motherland. They also have great news papers, gifts and mailing cards for family and loved ones. Highly recommend coming to this place

I have been going to this store for the past 12 years. I live about 35 min. away so I visit about 2 times per year as a treat to my self. This visit has been by far the worst. Selection of products is less then it was before. The service is very slow. The food quality has gotten worse. Chicken cutlets tasted horrible. The meat was not even ground. Just chunks lumped together. I ordered cake, they gave me the wrong one. Paid almost 10 dollars for a small piece. The cake they gave me was horrible. It was dry and old. Will not be coming back to this store again.

The store is under new ownership so my experience was different than in the past. The fresh produce selection seemed smaller than before, but I wad told they will add more. The kitchen is under renovation... I'm looking forward to trying their freshly prepared salads and cooked meats. I will rate again, once the kitchen is up and running.Okay, so here's my update and new rating (from 3 stars to 5 stars) ... There kitchen renovation is complete and the food is soooo good, even my favorite Russian black bread was baked fresh for me while I shopped! And the ladies who work behind the counter are very kind and helpful; even with my limited Russian and their limited English, there was no confusion and my selections were served to me with a smile. If you don't know what something tastes like and are curious, ask for a taste!

Wow what a nice surprise home style Russian Deli food and wonderful Russian groceries. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I was greeted in Russian and English, they helped my find all of the foods I was looking for and more.

Good Eastern European Foods selection, usually lots of freshly cooked food. I love their black triangle shaped bread they make in house. Not much fruit/veggies but everything else is there. Good friendly staff.

Very bright and clean relative to other local Russian shops. Be prepared to either speak Russian or point and gesture a lot, shopkeepers are not strong English speakers. Prices are moderate, and the selection of standard Eastern European meats, bread, candy, torts/cakes, and dairy is pretty good.

My fav russian store! Great service, the Russian ladies always greet me with a smile when i come in. Yes i am fluent in Russian, and i love the food from my country but i cant make it or cook it, only grandma and mom can but they live in Florida😩...but when i need a Russian/Eastern European fix i come here. The pelmeni variety is great, they are pre-made and in a lil frozen fridge thing you can open and scoopout and put in a plastic bag. The Tsarskaya brand ikra (red caviar) is my fav, i also love the pickles, the cabbage and the russian salads they make. Great place. Oh and if you think youre only coming in for 1-2 items think again, next thing you know you spent $200+ and got enough food to feed a Village 🤣🤣🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Great source for Eastern European imports. Smallish but jam-packed with a wide variety of products, both fresh and dry/canned for reasonable prices. Wide variety of halva. Includes a small pharmaceutical counter. Check-out can be slow when busy.

Customer servise 0. Expired items!! Ladies who work there need to be educated how to handle cutomer service! No way to stop by anymore! Health department need to pay attention to those russion groceries located entire MD, VA.

Everything in the market is delicious, but I found many products past their expiration date. Just check the dates and you'll be fine.
