I've been shopping at this Rite Aid for many years. I have to say the 2 gentleman that have been at the front registers lately, Alex and Sang are two of the best this store has ever had. Both are very nice, knowledgeable and helpful. I hope Rite Aid recognizes them both. Regards, Jennifer Wyatt

Glad to see stars low already in a desperate time being from another state waiting for a dog food pick up I ran inside to use restroom as well as grab a drink atleast was immediately told bathroom was not for public use immaturly this occurred after I sped walk to bathroom I literally went by these two associates dyoting before and after sad town hope these folks ain't the standard 3/13/24 10:38am

The pharmacy manager is the nastiest man I've ever encountered in customer service. You don't even feel like he considers you human. He constantly plays games with your prescription making you either call your doctor again or lying to you and telling you it's not due yet, even though another employee calls you days earlier saying it's ready. Terrible human being

The pharmacy is always nice. They are quite busy being the only one to serve our community. With all the homes in the area and only 3-4 people working there I can imagine it’s not easy.Cashiers are very talkative but friendly. Shelves get cleared fast but I have had more than one occasion when a staff member has taken time to look in the back for an item I needed. Not always had that item, but I appreciate the effort.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Rite Aid in Arbutus and was blown away by the exceptional service I received. The store was clean, well-organized, and had a wide selection of products. But what truly stood out to me was the store manager, Liz Nicholson.From the moment I walked in, Liz greeted me with a warm smile and asked if she could help me find anything. She was extremely knowledgeable about the products in the store and was able to answer all of my questions with ease. But what truly impressed me was her ability to go above and beyond to ensure that I had a great shopping experience.Whether it was helping me find a hard-to-locate item or offering recommendations for products that would suit my needs, Liz was always there to lend a helping hand. She truly cares about her customers and it shows in the way she interacts with them.In short, the Rite Aid in Arbutus is an excellent store with a great manager who truly cares about her customers. I highly recommend giving it a visit and experiencing the fantastic service for yourself.

I dont like this rite-aid at all. Very clean store so it gets 4 stars for being clean. My experiences with the pharmacy has always been horrible, hence I took my prescription business to Halethorpe pharmacy on Francis Ave until they closed their business. Luckily I managed to find a wonderful pharmacy in Catonsville - AME Pharmacy located at 731 Frederick Rd.And some of their employees who are fantastic came from the Halethorpe Pharmacy, I do have to mention tho any pharmacy operating today is way better than the Medicine Shop that used to be in Arbutus, that place was a nightmare.

I don’t know what happened at this pharmacy lately. They used to be really good about communicating with me about my insurance and prescriptions but lately they don’t even start filling an electronic Rx until I call or come in person.I tried to pick something up today (Sat) that my doctor sent on Wed only to find out it need a prior authorization. They didn’t send the prior authorization request to my doctor until I showed up to pick up the prescription!! Obviously, my doctor won’t be in the office to complete it until Monday! Numerous times they have simply refused to fill a paper prescription from my doctor, without even attempting to verify it with him before refusing.When I try to call, I either get a busy signal or no one picks up. I even try to call the front of the store but no one answers.I’d been using this pharmacy because it is open late and on the weekends. But at this point I’m gonna have to switch back to my local pharmacy that actually starts working on my prescriptions when they are sent in!!

The store itself is fine, the pharmacy however... is not.They never answer the phone, when they do a female immediately hangs up on you. Doctors can not get through either. Said insurance denied one med, got a different one prescribed, then they gave us both meds at pick up and said to give them both to her. Followed up with the hospital and they said do not give both, that it would overdose her. They said they ordered my daughters seizure medication because they do not stock it and to come back another day, came back and it was never ordered. Cant get through to follow up. Line always 10 people long. My daughter is on about 15 different medications and we will be taking our business else where. Very friendly to all staff in person, but this has gotten out of control and I have contacted corporate.edit- i have now gone 3 separate days and told 3 separate times my daughters med was ordered and it has still not been ordered. I am on day 4 and cant get through to check on my order.

The worst pharmacy experience I have ever had. I have to tell them I want to pick up my prescription before they even order it even though my doctor sent it in. It baffles me. We have started switching our prescriptions to another pharmacy because they do not communicate about any of your medications unless you ask (which they get annoyed about). The staff is repeatedly rude to customers. Like I'm sorry I came to get my prescription from the pharmacy like I'm supposed to do, maybe don't work at one if you don't want to deal with people. I wish I could just say this was a one off experience but, it happens every time I am there. (Which is every 2 weeks due to a medication that expires that quick.)

Not even a 1 star pharmacy anymore!!I'm not sure what has happened to this pharmacy but they've been getting worse every day! I've been a customer for more than 5 years and they were really good even during covid they were not his bad. I'm a nurse and have a high tolerance for rudeness but this new pharmacist is on a new level specially on the phone. He interrupted me few times and then he hanged up the phone when I said it is hard to get them on the phone!!It is always a chaos with frustrated employees. They haven't filled my medications on time for the last few months. I am transferring.

Needed my prescription and hadn’treceived a call it was ready. I called them for 2 1/2 hours yesterday and no one ever picked up the phone. Same thing happened today, called my Doctor and asked them to call Walgreens.What kind of service is this?

This pharmacy is bad. They have taken on more then they can handle. You drop off meds to be filled or call them in they are never ready for you when they say they will. I am switching to another pharmacy. And I have been going to this rite aid since 2003. They no longer care for their customers. Plus some off the people are rude that work there.

The entire pharmacy is incompetent. They have given away my prescription to someone else twice.They rarely have my refills when promised.My info has been hacked twice according to them.Recently they failed to refill my prescriptions so I have been out of meds for over a week.Time to transfer to a local pharmacy that can be trusted

Can't wait to move my prescriptions elsewhere. Prescription is NEVER ready when they say it will be. Now I'm getting phone messages to pick up refills I never ordered. And try to get someone that works there on the phone ... I dare you.

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY! WORST pharmacy experience to date! They NEVER HAVE any MEDICATIONS in, and are not even remotely bothered by the urgency of the matter. ALSO THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE!!! So, I have to physically DRIVE TO SEE IF THEY HAVE MY MEDICINE… AND COME TO FIND OUT THEY DONT FOR THE 3rd TIME THIS MONTH. The lack of empathy and professionalism is astounding!I work three jobs and my medication plays a huge role in my ability to function, if they don’t have any coming in… at least recommend a near by store in which my doctor could send the medication to! I have never had this issue else wear at any other pharmacy, so I’m not exactly sure who they employ, but they sure aren’t professionals in my opinion.

This is the worst pharmacy I've ever had to deal with, the employees are rude and unprofessional. They act like their job is hard and they're too busy or something. Seriously they fill pill bottles, why so lazy?? My prescription wasn't in stock and they left me in the dark not knowing when they'll be filled.. How hard is it to see a product you keep in stock is getting low to look ahead and place a order before it's completely out? Poorly managed, and if it happened to me then I amagine it happened before to someone else and I hope they're prescription wasn't a life dependent medication they had to go without.. yeah they could call their doctor and have the prescription filled somewhere else but seriously they nor I should have to waste the time when it's supposed to be easy and convenient to the customers who depends on this stores location. It's just sad that the employees working in this pharmacy don't seem to be taking their jobs seriously and don't understand the importance of the customers business.. if I was you I would choose another pharmacy to get your medicine. After today hopefully I can receive my meds from this location but I will find another pharmacy to use for now on. Thanks to this pharmacy I now have to go out my way for my medications because I will not be treated like I'm worthless and I rather take my business somewheres else that appreciates their customers and takes the job seriously. I hope the owner sees this horrible review and takes notice that this isn't a one time incident that others had the simular issues recently too by reading the other reviews customers written about your place of business.. please for the community and future customers find the right staff to replace the unwilling to improve the shopping experience for those that depend on your business to serve its customers and community the most efficient way possible.

I've been living in Arbutus for 6 years and even though their prices are absurdly high I still shopped at Rite Aid. Now their public bathroom is EMPLOYEES ONLY. Screw you guys. You're going to make someone stand in line for 30 mins, then wait another 30 for a scrip and then deny them use of your restroom?

The pharmacy doesn’t even deserve one star. They refused to fill my prescription because I do not have a profile set with them. Instead of trying to help me or explain what I need to do, they rudely thrust my paperwork back at me and dismissed me. They were so rude, I felt very disrespected. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time with these people.

Horrible experience please use a different pharmacy. Waited in line for 5 minutes while the only person there was on a phone call then she proceeded to serve the two people at the other window first even though I arrived before them. Then my prescription wasn't ready despite using the online system to renew it and being told it would be ready ¹/2 hour before I arrived. Then proceeded to take the next person in line as I was instructed to have a seat. Rite-aid needs to do a better job staffing. Update 11/30. Called to confirm my rx was ready rather than waiting at the store for 20 min (I used the automated system to refill yesterday) and Brad immediately placed me on hold without waiting for a reply and when he picked up my call he said he couldn't hear me and to call back and hung up.

This Rite Aid is soooo slow. No matter what time of the day or day of the week I’m always waiting in a long line or waiting for a prescription to be filled that I was told was already ready. The people that work there aren’t rude or nasty but they have to figure out a better system. I feel bad for the sick and elderly people that have to stand and wait forever to get their medications. I will be using a different pharmacy going forward.

Got a call from rite aid on 9/20/23 telling me my prescriptions were ready called in 4 prescriptions on the Monday 9/18/23 got there today 9/20/23 only 1 prescription was ready I wasted my time gas and money for 1 prescription knowning I got to retuned when the other 3 are ready and lastly the pharmacy tech said to me he doesn’t even know why calls are made when deliveries and prescriptions are not in something has to change with the system you have in place this is actually the second time this happen to me so I’m reported it this time

The actual pharmacist is nice, sweet and patient. The pharmacy techs with the blue lab jacket, are all rude and seems like they don’t want to work. Maybe a change of staff is needed. The only black guy there is nice. The other pharmacy technicians really suck.

Read their bad reviews. 100% accurate. Plus, they don't have a restroom for the public even that their sign is in the middle of the store. What a piece of garbage. Buying a medicine with them and you can't use the restroom?Them put a wall and close the site of the pharmacy, dumbazz. Geeeeeez. What a place.

Cashier was incredibly rude. He asked me if I had a Rite Aid rewards number, to which I said no, and he did not offer to sign me up for one. Normally not a big deal, but the items that I was buying were on sale, and he rung me up without the sale price without mentioning that I would need the Rite Aid rewards card in other to get it until after the transaction was over. When I asked him about it, he took on an extremely disrespectful tone as he asked me "would you like to process the return?" I was so frustrated with this awful cashier by that point that I refused. Incredibly terrible experience, and that cashier should honestly be fired.

Pharmacy visit, was in & out quickly, would get all my meds there if they carried the generic medication from the manufacturers I like for a few of my meds. The only issue I have with them is my pharmacy app doesn't work & I can't view my script history or see my wellness points. It tells me there's more than 1 account associated with my name. Which I'm sure had to do with signing up for a new wellness card when my original card wouldn't work years ago. I've reached out to them but they never seem to fix it.However, my visits there are always quick & easy & I usually run into someone I know. The pharmacy is run more efficiently than some others & even if there's a line it moves quickly.

This is a functional pharmacy that will probably work for you. The problem here is the inconsistency. Most of the time they will have things ready very quickly, but once I had to wait three days for a prescription. Sometimes the pharmacists strive to provide great help and service, but other times you don't see that. I would not characterize some people as rude, but some will not provide a happy, sunny experience when you come here.

My only problem here is that prescription is never ready when it is supposed to be or it takes a week after prescription was sent it's kind of frustrating...the staff here are really nice though
