The poele are friendly and the store well kept, but when I have called with specific important questions about prescriptions I have been on hold forever- the last time for 1hr and 10 mins and then the line disconnected! They need to do somethig about this.

The Rite Aid on Smith Ave in Baltimore County is neat, clean and well organized. The employees gave me good customer service. The prices were reasonable.There's ample free parking in the parking lot in front of the store.

Switched to Rite Aid near me as opposed to The Walgreens I used to go to whose service has greatly declined, particularly the pharmacy. The enployees at Rite Aid are very friendly, the pharmacy ones are very good-Got a shingles & 2nd booster there. It's clean and very spacious, have lots of variety of products.

I worked here for over six months. The management team is horrible from the store manager to the pharmacy manager. Human Resources is horrible as well! They provide a uncomfortable work setting by speaking in Arabic while several other employees don’t speak that language! It’s horrible pay for long hours!If you are planning to work here please don’t ! It’s not worth the stress or the constant prejudice behavior!

Don't go here, other pharmacies treat their customers better. I bought the wrong product and did not take my receipt. Went to exchange it 5 minutes later, with the same cashier, and he only gave me half back for the mistakenly purchased item since I did not have the receipt, despite remembering me purchasing it moments prior.

Well, I came on here to compliment some of the regular employees in this store. Michael, Mike and Zena to name a few. They are always so wonderful! They greet me when I walk in the door, they always ask how I'm doing. I couldn't say one bad thing about them. Which is funny since the previous reviewer whined about the manager. You're just a sour person, all your reviews are 1 star. I don't use this to review places but feel the need to support this team after reading her review. It's funny how Mike is "hiding" in the back?!?! How do you know, were you back there checking up on him or something? Maybe he was back there.....working??? Lady, you said he came up when there was complaints about the line. So he must have been called? How else would he know to come up, I doubt he can see everything that happens every second of the day. But enough about the GOOD staff. My other reason is to comment about a woman that was there yesterday. I assume a manager of some sort?? Jocelyn I believe is her name. Woah, where the heck did Rite Aid find that woman? She was nasty talking to employees and just had a very negative and unprofessional demeanor. If you're going to be a nasty witch, at least have the decency to do it out of earshot of the customer. So, not sure why the previous grumpy reviewer feels the need to bring down good people, but she obviously wasn't there for that Jocelyn woman.

When I’ve had to go and get a prescription filled if they know it’s not there or they know that it’s on back order they let me know that and they help me or order it so it’s there as soon as possible. This is going above and beyond.

The reviewer who says ghetto trash is nuts. Besides that being a racist comment it would not be possible anyway. There are virtually no African-Americans working there and virtually all the customers are white.This Rite aid improved dramatically in recent years. They rebuilt their pharmacy and put a really professional and friendly staff there.Sometimes the lines at the front of the store are a little bit long because of understaffing would be my major complaint.

I was just at this store location at Smith Ave(Greenspring shopping center) i purchased a bottle of water that was $2.49. & one sale for 99cents when the cashier was finishing the transaction she said my Total was $2.00. I asked why & she said it was for a children's donation fund. They are supposed to ask you if you want to donate, not just add it to your purchase. I made her take off the extra charge & left. I then called the store when I got home and talked to the manager which was the same woman. She kept making excuses for what she did & when I said "that's illegal busibebu to not ask and just add donstiibd to peooles transactions" then she paused for about 5 seconds, pretty much indicating that I was right & she had nothing to say. Then she went back to making lame excuses for her illegal transaction business. I just wanted inform all customers that read reviews here, so you don't get rkbbed blind by crooked workers doungthungs like this.

Jan, while I agree with your opinion regarding the store - it's great except for the long lines due to being understaffed (at least I'm guessing that's why), you're the one who made the racist comment. "Ghetto trash", while not the kindest of descriptions, can refer to any and all races. You're the one who singled out African-Americans. So while I'm sure you had good intentions, what you said was actually the racist comment. Just some food for thought. But I digress, this rite aid is pretty great currently.

I went to pick up 2 prescriptions and I was told by the pharmacist that the doctor did not write clear directions for 1 medication, "take one at night, take one in the morning." I think that is pretty clear. They refused to give me that prescription. For the other medication, I was told they could not get it in stock until the next month. Ridiculous. I've picked up the same prescription from them more than once and now all of a sudden it's a problem?

Mini years ago this pharmacy was a mess. They physically reconfigured the pharmacy into a larger space and had complete staff turnover. Everyone is super friendly, helpful and well informed.

Worst of the worst. I stopped shopping here as soon as Walgreens quarry and then Royal Farms opened but occasionally make the mistake of popping in for a small item if I'm at Greenspring for something else. Never again. While "Mike" the manager hides in the back the poor young man at the register fields constantly ringing phones and six deep in line elderly folks who cannot stand. Finally after complaining loudly on their behalf and watching two older ladies leave their full baskets and exit the store in disgust (a daily occurrence I witnessed before I stopped shopping here) , Mike came scurrying from the back room where he spends most of his time. I've seen this at least twice before and with this same manager. RITE AID couldn't care less. Royal Farms and Walgreens at the Quarry aren't perfect but both are managed with some oversight and concern for line management and customer experience.

They do not seem to care for their customers and for some reason fail to process scripts faxed in by the doctors offices. Either there fax is broken, or they are just inept I sear it is the later

Great location and staff. Only issue is there seems to be something wrong with the phone lines. It's sounds extremely distorted and you can't understand the pharmacists on the phone. Tried again on other phone as well. It was still distorted. It may need to be updated.

This is a little bit of a smaller rite aid, or at least it feels that way. And most of the times I have been there it has taken me a great deal of time to get out. Even if it's not very crowded.
