Thank GOD we came to this store…. This young lady name Francis was amazing and I finally found a good pet store to go to. We now have 4 pet Rats and a ferret. The place was super clean and everyone was nice.

Going into the Petco I went to pickup bedding for my rats Francis ended up coming in and being really helpful helping with the toys and the bedding she was really sweet and had an overall the great attitude I would really love to shop and get her help again definitely will go back

Azucar did such an amazing job with my dogs haircut/groom. He usually looks a bit silly for the week or two following his haircuts, but he looked so adorable when I picked him up, I was truly impressed. He’s never looked so cute post-groom, I’m so pleased!! She worked some magic, I swear. Will absolutely be back for future grooming for my pup! :)

I had an 8:30 a.m appointment with the dog groomer. I get an email at 8:17 a.m. the day of the appointment telling me that my appointment was cancelled. I was already driving to the appointment when I got the email.

I am not in the habit of posting reviews, but I had to post a shout out to our most recent groomer, Brandon G, at the Anneslie Petco on York Road. We’ve had our dog groomed by other people in the past, but he’s never come back to us as clean and de-shedded as he did after seeing Brandon. Thank you thank you for the amazing job you did on our dog!! 10/10 recommend him for your double coated doggos!!Also, it was great to talk to Ericca about dog training sessions! Super friendly and knowledgeable!!

Most of the time, I'm skeptical and distrusting of large big box stores. Also I've not had the best experiences at other Petco or Pet Smart locations. Though this location, I've been going to for about year now and I've never had a problem(though I'm pretty there are off days every now and again). I usually buy fish here ( both saltwater and fresh water) and each time I've gotten good customer service and was able to get the type of fish that I wanted. Also the staff that helped me was very knowledgeable about the fish and how to care for them properly. Also, the fish were reasonably priced. A lot cheaper than some other places that sell fish. Unless something changes and make me not want to come here, I will continue to shop here.

I went with a friend to buy a Betta fish and the Cashier Erica was quite rude and nasty I bought the fish at 2:19 pm on Thursday the fish was dead before 4pm I had to call Petco Headquarters to report the whole fiasco, had to go back on Fri to return the dead fish because they were being over fed and it was several dead fish on the rack the GM from Petco Headquarters has yet to return my call so I guess it doesn't matter to them how you are treated in their store. BUT I PERSONALLY WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN. PERIOD

Pet store with cramped aisles and odd layout. Prices are a bit high. Items I need are normally in stock and staff is friendly. I get the sense that the location is understaffed and that local management is prioritizing customer service over basic stocking and maintenance.

I can really only speak on the fish/aquatic department, but it's a decent store. The betta fish are generally in much better condition than I've seen them in other chain pet stores and there's usually a pretty decent selection of aquatic life. Main issue I have is that some of the employees assigned to the fish department are clearly far less knowledgeable than others, and have given out definite misinformation to me and other customers before. But, I suppose that's to be somewhat expected from a big chain like Petco.

I have been booked with meja 5 times in 2 months idk who she is as I've never had issues with the other groomers...but my appointment has been canceled all 5 times no phone call no message nothing!show up and can't been seen directed to manager Kyle he does nothing says sorry than im rebooked with her again and the process starts all over....will not be wasting my time with this location anymore and I've been coming here for years!!! GET IT TOGETHER!!!!

1st time to this Petco grooming location. NO complaints. Groomer was nice and friendly. She did a really good job on the hair cut!!.. I forgot groomer name sorry. Service was quick.. My fur baby SkittleBun seem to enjoy it. She smelled so fresh and clean. Groomer wore her out she was pooped/ knocked out afterwards lol
