My dog is very active large doodle. No one else seemed to have patience with him. Mr Lucky did a fantastic job on my big boy, it had been three months since he's last grooming, because the other groomers would ask me to return and pick him up. So he was over grown and matted. We are grateful for Mr. Luck and his staff. Great Job !!!

This place did an excellent job on my dog. No one has ever been able to groom him. Not even myself. They are very good. With dogs . Beverly is so nice and polite. Dave is too but just a different type you have to get to know him. He means well. Over all my dog is beautiful they gave him the works for a reasonable price especially knowing he his hard to work with and very aggressive. No other place would except him. Great place. I will be going every time he needs grooming

We’ve been there twice since moving Baltimore. They did a great job on my standard poodle and I didn’t feel that my dog was just a number. They seemed to really care. Reasonable prices and very communicative.

My mom took our elderly dog Berk to Lucky Dog today and we can’t be any more thrilled with the results. David and Beverly were the absolute best. Berk looks so handsome. We will be returning.

A spectacular place to take your pet. My dog is very sketchy with sounds. So a shaving tool was not her cup of tea. Immediately upon meeting the staff of Lucky 3 she fell comfortable and adapted to the sound of the shaver. Animals have some type of intuition of people. My dog is usually skittish with sounds, she's afraid of everything, they buzzed up the clippers, she wasn't excited at all due to the comfortability of the staff, amazing!But this crew was amazing to her all she knew was curiosity. Let's get down to the cut, she has curly hair very little mattered except for her ear I had her clipped very close they did a wonderful job and brought out all the colors of her coat. They were not only kind to her but also kind to me as an owner. I'm very happy that I arrived before the holiday rush, Lucky 3 did a wonderful job on my pet

Very nice groomers very kind did a great job they have great products for pet care my only only gripe they are just way too expensive just for a wash nail trim and grooming $80 I was desperate for my puppy to have his first cut so I got him cut complained about price so he just cut nails and fur for $60 still way too high for just a cut I'd love to go back but they'll have to come down on price

I'm not quite sure how this place exists and gets customers or why people go here. I agree with Bryant's review and I never even decided to get my cat groomed. I've called this place twice and both times was greeted with hostility in my opinion. Poor customer service and strange tactics. I've never heard of a groomer seeking your assistance to help them groom. They want you to stay and possible hold the pet at least on their first visit. The website alone is a turn off because of everything they try to address. When I called recently inquiring on cat grooming, I jumped ahead and told him that I read the website and my cat is fine with grooming and has been groomed before (learning from the first time I called and he asked a bunch of questions about my cat's temperament). We proceed to discuss availability and he tells me to tell him when I'd like to come in after I asked what options were available. After I request my day and time, he tells me their true options and times and cash only. It frustrated me since he could've just offered me that information when I asked. Per Bryant's review, I also think the man is senile. I will not be taking my pet here.

Unprofessional. The first problem was that the male groomer made inappropriate comments to me AND my boyfriend. I received a very important, unexpected work call when walking in and this guy did everything in his power to interrupt my conversation. He even asked my boyfriend what kind of work I did, and then proceeded to imply that I was a dancer. He was very pushy, attempted to demand tips, and tried to sell us useless products instead of focusing on the grooming needs. He pushed “free hair color” but really provided us with a janky spray job. When I came in halfway through to check on my pup I expressed that I didn’t like the current progress and he pushed me out of the shop. Upon pick up we were HIGHLY disappointed. They had put a bow on my MALE dog and unevenly colored the whole top of his head pink, even though we asked for red. Waste of $85, I can see why they only take cash and why they called me twice before I even arrived to ensure that I was still coming - even though it was a walk in appointment.

I have brought several dogs to Luck 3 Pet Grooming and have never been disappointed. They catered to my pug's sensitive skin by offering a hypoallergenic shampoo and always made her feel safe. Then I brought a Chihuahua/ Jack Russel that acted wild and would not let anyone near his nails until a visit to Lucky 3!David, the owner, is a skilled groomer who does a thorough job and I can tell he is passionate about his work. Beverly (his assistant) shows great skill and is always very friendly. I find his humor especially entertaining and although he may come off to others as "weird" or "quirky" I think its refreshing to find someone who enjoys life the way he does. Take your pet here - you won't be sorry!

I have a 3 year old Sheltie. I was having a difficult time finding a groomer still accepting appointments in the midst of the pandemic. I was a little weary due to the appearance of the building, I gave it a shot and left my little princess with David. I picked her up 2 hours later and was overjoyed with the quality of the cut. They’re a little pricey, $80 cash but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend Lucky-3.David and Beverley took great care of my little fur baby and I will most definitely be a returning customer.

I had an appointment for my pup to be groomed at petco but it was cancelled. We needed her groomed ASAP to get the hair out of her eyes so I called a couple of places to see if I could get a same day appointment . Luckily Luck 3 was more than happy to accommodate! This is a place with A LOT of personality, an old school Bmore vibe (seriously cash only), and such personable staff. My pup is difficult when she gets groomed but they seemed to be very patient with her... AND when I went to pick her up she did not leap with fear into my arms like the last place we went. A bit pricey but they did accept us last minute and added a little color for FREE. Sweet people ... we shall go back again :)

Terrible experience with having my dog groomed there. David was unprofessional and combative. Shop was cluttered and dirty. Shining spot was Beverly, she was great with my dog and I appreciate all her effort and hard work. Won't be back and only went because I couldn't get in anywhere else, I suppose that's a positive I got rite in, but I think I understand why.

A little expensive and the owner is very playful and very pushy. He tries to force you to buy his products and if you a soft person then he will get over. My first time going was today 6-29-18 . Don’t get me wrong the service was fast but it’s like playing deal or no deal when he give you a price for the grooming process the only reason I tried them out was because petco was booked. The owner likes to ask how much you pay other places and whatever it is he ask for more.overall I was pleased with my dog hair cut but if I had to come back it would only be because my groomers are booked up. But I will still give them a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

David and Beverly are the best! I have a small and anxious dog who does NOT do well with being handled by others, and they have, both times I've taken her here, gotten her groomed with no issues and done it very quickly! David has great advice regarding behavioral issues and is a wonderful source of information about the surrounding neighborhood as well. I won't let anyone else groom my pet now.

I have been using this groomer since quarantine, so roughly 3 visits. I think the price is fair and comparable to pet smart. I think my dog looks way better compared to pet smart. Here is my main “complaint”... CUSTOMER SERVICE, Beverly is so sweet and friendly, but the gentleman seems to be the one who handle customers mostly. He’s abit quirky which is find but he can also come off as slightly rude. I also do not like talking over music when I call OR in person but for some reason that doesn’t bother this gentleman AT ALL... I think they treat the pets well, I think the pets look great after the service BUT customs service is apart of business so I would suggest cleaning that piece up a bit.... maybe Ms Beverly should be more involved with customers OR maybe they should hire a receptionist to turn calls, schedule appointments ect.

David personality is amazing he was very well humored, my dog was cut to perfection and she wasn’t down and moody how she normally would be after she goes to petsmart. She was full of energy after David and Beverly cut her.We will definitely be returning to them.I love her cut and new color and my dog loves it as well.

The groomer has a friendly personality. My fog (Max) was matted quite a bit when I took him. They got him back to normal lol for a reasonable price and he also offered free hair color for my dog. I fine that to be cute and my children loved it.

i called around to a couple of places this morning trying to find a groomer for my 8 week old female kitten. this was one of the places i contacted. David answered the phone and told me for a shampoo and nail trimming it would be $25 in cash. its 2021, who in the hell still only accepts cash. odd request, but fine. i asked when his next available appointment was. this man told me he didn’t do appointments and he will call me when he has an opening between dogs.after awhile, David called back and said we could come in. but we had to have the cash before coming there. i live in Essex and was running errands. i told him i would coming as soon as possible. about half an hour later, while i am 8 minutes from his store, he calls, rushing me. he said we were late, but didn’t give us a time to be there. we walk into the store and immediately i regret my choice. he walks towards us and he tells us that if it were any later he wouldn't have helped our kitten. the store is HORRIBLE. an complete and utter DISASTER. it looks like he's still doing construction on the building. dogs are whining and scratching. the way they dry the animals is horrible. they put them in kennels and put 2 leaf blowers or something in front of them for awhile. there was barely any room to get into the door. the most unsanitary and unsafe building for animals AND humans I’ve ever seen, and i've seen ALOT. there was a pill bottle with the label ripped off with white powder right on the table. their utensils looked like they were not clean or anything. i was directed to the back to beverly who was very kind, but not so gentle with my kitten. she kept covering my cats face and grabbing her around her neck like she was choking her. she gives me the cat back after her nails are done and then takes her back to bathe her. David tells me we had to leave and come back in 15 minutes. before leaving he tries to sell his products to is, like bags and socks. i cried leaving my kitten in there out of worry. when we picked her up after 15 minutes, David tried to say she wasn’t dry and we couldn’t take her home. and beverly said she was dry and we could. our kitten seemed so happy to be leaving there. she shook for 20 minutes after leaving. not because she was cold, but because she was scared. i have pictures of how horrible this store looked and all. and i would NOT recommend going here. i will NEVER bring any of my animals back here.

I called and asked if they could get my dog in. They gave me a slot same day and was able to get my dog groomed. He looks amazing!! Very professional and David is hilarious. Thank you guys for getting Chance in. We will definitely be back!!

I recently moved to Baltimore and was in search of a groomer. I found this groomer through Google. When I read his VERY long "Why Patronize US? I thought it was a bit much in explaining why someone should patronize his business but I went with him anyways. I called the number on the site in which no one answered. I later receive a call from David's home number. He advised me to call in the morning once he's near his appointment book. 😒. Upon talking to him I realized this man is senile. I called the next day in the morning in which he advised me to come in now because he had two dogs coming at noon. I load my dog into my car and reached the location within 16 MINS. I walk in and was greeted by David. I realize he is a very chatty person in which is fine. He then starts over explaining his skill set and employees skill set. Fine, you have experience David. The business is very small and cluttered. I told him I just spoke to you and you told me to come in. He then proceeds to say he doesn't remember talking to me🙄🤯. I'm slowly starting to get frustrated. He then asks me to place my dog on a table. At that point he starts trimming my dogs nail. He cuts one of his nails and hits a blood vessel. I didn't trip about that because it happens. He then applies styptic powder to stop the bleeding. While he's on the table he advises that the service will be $100 CASH. WHO only accepts cash?!?!! It's 2021. I thought this was a bit much compared to Petsmart charging 60 to 80 with no nail cutting issues. But I said he's got training from Manhattan so maybe that justifies the price. Because the interior of the business sure doesn't justify the price. So I still go with it. He advised me to navigate with my dog to the back of the business where Beverley is working. Looking around I see the cages are rusted and quite old. At this point I'm convincing myself that this is Baltimore and a lot of business are old and outdated. He then starts asking me what I do. I felt like he was sizing me up. Saying "ohhh your a billionaire".. I don't need the adulation. After that awkward moment. He confirmed how long it would take to groom. I left with a 50/50 confidence in this business. Now I had to go to the bank and withdraw cash. David then calls me a little over 3 hours later saying he's ready. When I saw my dog, he looked so happy to see me! And when he was let out of the cage he bolted towards the door. Smh. When I loaded my dog into my car his nail started bleeding again. I ended up going to petco to purchase styptic powder. I'll be taking my money elsewhere were the customer service, building conditions, and quality of work is much higher.

Do not take your pet here! This place is unprofessional! I called and they were very loud and talkative on the phone but were speaking to eachother, not me! Then I was told they couldn’t tell me a time and they would call me the day of. They called me the morning of and told me I had to bring him in immediately or they weren’t sure of a time and to call them when I was ready. Called and then they told me a few hours away or if they called sooner I would have to come then. I went at the time and the place looks abandoned. It’s stuff everywhere, it’s pet hair every wear. Nothing is cleaned after each pet which is a problem. They used a dirty towel to try to clip nails. It’s small, dirty and cramped. The guy kept trying to sell me other stuff and rushing me to try to pay for something I did not want. My pet tried to run and they immediately said they could not finish him. He did not fight them to clip the nails and he did not scratch or even attempt to scratch them or even hiss at them and they wouldn’t do him to keep my money anyway. Do not go here, find a real professional place, because this is not it

All 3 of my babies just got Groomed from Lucky-3 and I just want to let people know that I am very satisfied with there results. All 3 of my dogs smell so good, very soft, clean(I can see there natural color now) nails painted etc. prices are low,. Thankyou Lucky 3 we will definitely be back!

I cannot believe that my Snoball(my American Eskimo) did not have to take any meds to be groomed. I know that she may have given Beverly some attitude, but she still made it through her grooming experience. David and Beverly have great spirits and were a pleasure to meet and talk to- plus I felt comfortable with leaving my baby in their care. She not only looked and smelled good, she was also in a good mood (surprisingly). I have finally found my favorite groomer! I will be back!

I've been bringing my dogs to this groomer for a number of years an David an Beverly 
are the best wouldn't go anywhere else. My rescue shih tzu was very anxious and banned from 
various groomers, but David and Beverly made him feel comfortable, and have never had any 
issues. I highly recommend them.

I have taken my toy poodle to this guy a few times and he always does a good job. However, he's very rude and disrespectful. Although i always like to tip, he asks for one before i can even get the money out. That makes me uncomfortable and i dont think that customers should feel pressured to tip, it should be voluntary. He also keeps polishing my male dogs nails after i contuously tell him not to. Even with these issues, i still took my dog there since he did do a good job on his lamb cut. And then today I called him to take my dog in for a cut, he told me he needed to up the price from$70 to $90-100 because I left my dog there til 5:45 pm last time and he accused me of ignoring his phone calls when it was time to pick my dog up. I have NEVER left my dog there, I even stay in the neighborhood while he gets cut and picks him up as soon as he's done. I tried to explain to him on the phone that he had me confused with someone else and tried to give him my name and details that would help him realize who i was and he cut me off before i could say much and said "I know who you are, call me if you want the appointment" I am very disgusted and he has lost a very good customer. He should be more respectful when speaking to customers and more careful when making accusations which were COMPLETELY FALSE!! I have now decided to switch to a new groomer, I refuse to continuously support this business and just wanted to make other customers aware of my experience.
