I have never been to this pharmacy. But due to mines shutting down this was the next closest pharmacy so I had my meds sent here. and I want to start to off by saying you don’t answer the phone saying “what do you want” that’s so ghetto and unprofessional. And I told her that! Idc how long the line is or how many ppl you have to service! As quick as they gained a new customer is gonna be as quick as they lose me because that’s an horrible experience for someone who is new coming over to this pharmacy!

Terrible, constantly get notifications that scripts are ready and when I go to pick them up (sometimes 6 to 8 hours later), they're not ready. This has happened a dozen times over the last year or two. Miss Roz is the only saving grace, otherwise they'd only get one star. Severely disappointing.

The pharmacy is so slow. They are very sweet people tho. The one lady will stop what she is doing with you to start helping someone else and it just waste alot of time . The wait is ridiculous. Weather they have 1 pharmacist or 5 it's still super slow other than that np issue

This pharmacy is outstanding when it comes to customer service. The negative reviews that some people have is of course their opinions but try going to CVS and you'll see the difference in service. Everytime I've picked up a prescription the price is cheaper and I've been treated with respect and withprofessionalism from the entire staff especially from Rosalynn. You call and they answer the phone at Giant and you can't get thru to CVS at all so I stopped getting certain scripts there . I recommend this pharmacy over any other in the area.

This pharmacy has continued to get worse and worse over the years. It's gotten so bad now I won't continue to use them..They are the slowest and most unhelpful of any other local pharmacy that I've had to deal with. I just stuck around because I've been going there for many years but the rapid decline in customer service and care cannot be overlooked anymore. Shame on Giant for letting this continue.

The pharmacy tech here speaks to everyone as if they're children, literally. It's disrespectful and unprofessional. If that was the only issues, I may just ignore the personality quirks. What's not OK is being told that I can pick up there medication the next morning only to find that it's not even processed. I was told to have a seat and wait a few minutes. When I asked about the status 20-mins later, the pharmacist tells me they actually only have a partial fill available and I'd have to come back to get the rest. No apology or explanation from the pharmacist or the tech. The same tech denies she spoke with us the prior day and deflects responsibility. Poorly managed store through and through.

The lines long sometimes. I just wish there were 2 people upfront sometimes. Even when one is upfront struggling, no one from the back comes up and help speed things up. Nevertheless, I understand and can be patient unlike others. Other than the lack of staff, my prescriptions always ready when I go in

Good morning. The Lady/ Supervisor was so pleasant and helpful to me . Had trouble w the coinstar machine. Both Ladies came. Supervisor found me in store and handed me my second ticket that I left.

Waited in line 15 minutes to turn a prescription. Only 1 clerk on duty, when she realized I was waiting in line to just turn in a script she waited on the person behind me who was picking up a number of prescriptions instead. Why? She was working under the sign that said drop offs so I thought I had to wait in the regular line. So confusing.I am in their system. Once she took my paper prescriptions. Took 2 minutes to turn them in. Now I remember why I use CATONSVILLE PHARMACY and/or Walgreens. Better efficiency and svc.I feel for the clerk working alone. But u don’t wait on the person behind me. That makes no sense to make someone wait longer. SMH!!!

I had signed up for text notification when prescription was ready for me to pick. Over the last 3 month's I have received test messages that prescriptions were ready for me to pick up when were to the store on Wilkens Ave. I was told I had no prescriptions there I decided today to get paper prescriptions and take them myself to the pharmacy to be filled. I will not have refills done just get a 3-month supply at a time.

My husband and i started filling our prescriptions here due to a nation wide shortage of one of our medications. The wait is always extremely long and there is always a problem. Yesterday, we took our monthly prescriptions in to be filled. My husband took them up to the pharmacist to make sure they had the medicine in stock (just like we always have to do). As with most prescriptions, there are generics. My husband went on to explain that there is one of the generics that I cannot take, however the rest are fine (we have to go through this every single month because nothing is noted in your chart here). We waited over an hour, just to get the prescription and find out that it was the one generic that I couldn’t take! After explaining to the pharmacist (not just today but every month), he STILL filled the one generic that I’m an unable to take! If that wasn’t enough.. They didn’t have my husbands medicine and said that they would have to order it and that it would be there on Friday. No big deal to us.. Until they informed us that just because they were ordering the medicine, didn’t mean it would be reserved for him. It’s first come first serve. So what you’re saying is, you have my husbands prescription and you had to place this order because you didn’t have it in stock, BUT if someone comes in right after you get the shipment, you’ll give it to them. That’s ridiculous! I’m a very understanding person and I get that things happen that are out of our control, But that pharmacist couldn’t have cared less! So we changed pharmacies today and won’t be going back. We’re willing to drive the extra 15 minutes to be with a good pharmacy.

I put myself on mute pending being placed on hold. A pharmacy representative finally got to me and said hello. Before I could unmute myself, the representative had expressed her annoyance (rudely, I might add) for having to wait more than 2 seconds for a response. I am not exaggerating…. TWO SECONDS.

This pharmacy’s customer service is awful. They don’t know how to better assist people. I like the way other pharmacies text your phone when your Rx is ready, but this pharmacy doesn’t. So I have to call before coming to get my prescription to see if it’s finished and they put me on hold for 20 minutes or more. Hang up call back, on hold again. If I go in to pick it up without calling they say another hour. It is the most frustrating thing and the only pharmacy in my area that accepts the insurance we have.

Half the staff is nice and the other half are oblivious or too busy with chatting and such. My meds are NEVER ready and a standard hour ALWAYS turns into 2hrs plus...I don't understand how hard it is to be efficient and treat your job like it actually matters. If they didn't always have my meds in Stock I'd NEVER EVER come to this pharmacy.

Prescription was put in at 11am for a pickup at 2pm. Called and STILL NOT FILLED AT 2:30! This is the WORST pharmacy I have ever been to. Called and told to be on wait list for another HOUR. I gave benefit of doubt that this is an off day for them but 5 hour wait for a prescription to be filled is a JOKE! I really wish I could rate this place -5 stars for their lack of customer care. Be smart, go to somewhere else (anywhere is better than this place!) To get your prescription filled.

Absolutely incompetent. My perscription was called in 3 hours prior, I get there and they can't find it. After waddleing around searching and searching she finally found the slip of whoever had taken the call. With a dumb face she said we will get it out to you in 15 mins. Mind you, my perscription comes in a prepackaged bottle. They don't even have to count the pills. Anyways, they said 15 mins, but after half an hour they came and told me they don't even have it. Everyone here including the pharmacists is beyond incompetent, lazy, and low IQ. I have never written a review for any other company besides this. I just couldn't help myself. I am so furious about their lack of professionalism and care for their patient's time. They all deserve to have their jobs ended. They can't handle what they are doing.

Giant pick-up service is great! Josh shopped my items, packed them so neat and organized. Greeted me out front and loaded them in my truck. It’s the 2nd time I had the pleasure to meet him and he went above and behind both times.

This is the worst pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with and if there was a different local pharmacy that accepted my insurance I would stop using this pharmacy. I went to my doc appointment last Wednesday, he wrote 2 prescriptions one of which was controlled that I couldn’t fill right away, and the other is never in stock and always has to be ordered. Knowing that the one needs to be ordered and that I couldn’t fill the other until Saturday (today), I went into Giant after my appointment on Wednesday and asked them to order the one. The young woman of color at the cashier was very rude, and so was the gentleman pharmacist. However after being ignored for 5 minutes the man helped me and ordered my Rx right in front of me. So, I come in today, Saturday, to fill my controlled Rx and to pick up the Rx that was ordered and low and behold! My prescription was NEVER ORDERED. Hmmm...but he did it right in front of me? What a great actor. So, I ask them to ORDER my Rx this time, they did, then I waited an hour for my controlled Rx, got it, went home, opened my bag to put my meds away and THEY SHORTED ME 23 DAYS WORTH OF MY CONTROLLED PRESCRIPTION. I am supposed to receive 2 boxes of 30, and I got 1 box of 30, and a box of 7. Like, how do these people still have jobs???? I really don’t understand. If they worked as a physician, they’d be killing patients left and right. THERE IS NOT ROOM FOR ERROR IN THE MEDICAL FEILD!!!! Such A disgrace!!

Please for your health and sanity DO NOT use this pharmacy if you care about service and on time pharmacy.They tell you “45 min” to fill your prescription. Come back 3 hours later, and the make you wait 45 min while your prescription is being filled.Choose another pharmacy

This pharmacy continues to fill my generic RX w/a name brand alternative to jack up the price. I've asked them to make a note in my file/account, & nothing changes. My Dr. specifically notes the generic's name only & the pharmacists ignore it every, time. It's bad business, & my next complaint is to be filed w/state & federal pharmacy oversight regulators. I've had enough.

Horrible experience. I went to pick up a prescription from them for the first time and the older woman told me that they "DO NOT TAKE INSURANCE HERE.." So I proceeded to ask was it just my insurance or insurance period.. she says while laughing "Where are you from because we don't do that here!". I ask again was it my insurance or insurance period..? She said insurance period. I leave the pharmacy and walk over to my roommate discussing what just happened and a young lady in the line tells me that can't be right because she comes there often and uses her insurance. I was sick so I just decided to go to Saint Agnes Hospital.. it gets worst. The lady taking my insurance information and billing says that SHE has the same insurance and went that night and used here insurance.

There is a man that work there and he’s very disrespectful to the staff every time I come there and he’s there, It’s a very unpleasant experience. He’s rude and nasty to the women that work there. I seen him with my own eyes assault one of the staff that was a woman.

I don't even want to give one star to this Giant Pharmacy. Very bad customer service and long waiting. I can't believe this kind of people working in drug stores. Especially a woman with a long spiked hair who is the one treating customers as rude as her face. Hope they all get fired soon.

This place is not good. I have been here twice so far and both times they are unimpressive. I called ahead to make sure the script would be ready so I then came an hour and a half after they said it would be ready it it wasn't. I need to find a better place to go, shouldn't be difficult.
