The service was not appropriate. The cashier was annoyed that myself & a gentleman were standing there waiting for her to get off of her phone. This is the second time that I have been in this store (on belvedere st) & she has had an attitude about having customers.

Also one of my favorite stores. My hat's off to those amazing cashier's who are able to deal with some of the customers that shop there and still keep a good attitude. The staff there is very nice. The have plenty of item's from clothes to food, housewares and much more. And very good prices. I shop quit often.

Seriously folks, this is a push of a rating. None of the stores I've been to is good. Yes the economy is bad, but to raise the price of the cheap stuff is ridiculous. This one is in one of the worse locations you can think of. And because of that, some of the merchandise is behind the counter, there is almost always one cashier and the store is tight. But it's the only one in the area I was in, and to get some snacks, i went in. It isn't worth the hassle of going here unless you really want something from here.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The store as a decent variety of items needed for a household. Some items are higher price than other stores but you are paying for convenience.

One cashier and they asked for me to check my purse at the front counter not fully stocked everything just everywhere and anywhere. They walk around smelling like cigarette and talking on the phones. It was really hot and funky in there too. The floors are filthy.

I purchased items that were fifty dollars worth of items gave a one hundred dollar bill the woman took my money and argued that I only gave her a fifty and I told her check the camera but made me look like a thief I did not want to give a bad review because I love this place but she was wrong and found out that I did hand her a hundred and didn't even apologize just stuck her nose in the air gave me my change and told me go ahead leave sir I said thank you ma'am and have a nice day anyway even though I was right I'm sorry for the bad review for the rest of the employees that are very nice.

I have never been to a store like Family Dollar, that doesn't have bags for everthing in their store!!. They didn't have bags to put my paper towels, and gave me a brown bag, with NO HANDLES!!. Not EVERYONE has a car!!. I had to keep stopping just to adjust what i was carrying!!. 2-6packs of paper towels..& the bag with NO HANDLES!!. The paper towels was wrapping was tearing open!!. A total disaster!!

The cashier with that orange & black wig & glasses... The OLD lady is sooOooo RUDE... She can NEVER do cash back... It's NOT ur money... STOP hating... Give me my cash back & keep on ringing people up... Misery loves company... So ghetto & unprofessional... Talks to the customers like she is not working... Like u work 4 her... No customer service skills at ALL... I know it's in the hood but they can do better... TeRRible Experience... Every time I go... SooOooo SAD...

Dis a hood joint! Greeted by a MANager, she rolls up on you wif sum dum shyte 'bout ur hood and sunglasses. Forget the facts that its just above 30 degrees outside and a cloudless sky, duh. Giva Bruh a break especially when he's 66 y/o. The majority of your clientele is from across the street at the 15 story highrise. Nuff said?

Any time a senior spends close to $100 in the store and had to ask the police for help with her bags because managers would not let or help with bags maybe i need to start shopping in another family dollor store what do you think ?

I prefer Dollar Tree. Add Dollar Tree everything cost $1 and they have an array of items to buy. Family Dollar is more expensive in everything is over a dollar. So many students
