So people really are great behind counter be prepared to walk thru crowed of peeps asking for money. But store does need some help 🆘 as far as cleaning and organizing but overall what they have to deal with as far as workers they deserve 50.00 an hour

Family dollar is too expensive, also the prices are not right...in the store prices on shelves is telling you one thing and when you looked at the receipt it's a different amount. There's always a long line and no shopping carts to put you items in. Please look at your expiration date on your food because I brought cereal and it expired in 2001 and i didn't notice it until I ate it...Good luck with that store.. Go to Giant you probably will get a better deal without your food expiring.

I didn't purchase anything that was worth sharing a photo of oh, but I do like shopping at the various locations because they offer a wide variety of products at reasonable prices. The Staffing is Hidden Mist, sometimes nice and sometimes not so nice. Overall this company has become a staple in many low to middle-income families and is definitely a blessing. I would recommend anyone to shop here for a quick stop.

I took my son here last weekend to get him a toy, he wanted a toy knife but they didn't have any kind of toy knives, but that's no big deal & I told him before we headed there the they might not have any toy knives. The reason I only gave this store 3 stars is because the employees were very condescending, rude & talked to us like we were below them. I didn't like the way the guy at the register talked to me or my son. I don't plan on coming back here any time soon.

I always come here, they sell and little bit of everything BUT they are constantly raising their prices and started to getting a lil too pricey now. Still a good store though 3/5!

This store is so ratchet. The manager that goes by the name “D” (well that’s what she said her name was) is so unprofessional and ghetto. I don’t recommend anyone spending money here. She told me the store manager name is Seven and that she can’t give me his last name. This store customer service is horrible. I’m calling corporate on them

February 05, 2019, I stopped here after business at the MVA. I wanted Tealight Candles. I purchased a few other things also. The store is very nice and clean. They have not been there long. I am happy that a business was able to utilize the empty space left behind after Murry's closed it's business. In the area, unfortunately, there is most probably some theft. So, they are into 'the throwback days ' of checking your bags. I only had a small bag for my water bottle and my wallet and some papers because, I didn't want to carry my purse that day. If they are going to check a bag, they need to give you something to show when you come back for it. I almost left the store without my bag, which had my door keys in it. I was catching the bus that day, I would not have been able to come back for my bag. And if I had how do I prove it is mine. Or suppose they give someone the wrong bag. That was the first time that I have had to check my bag at a Family Dollar. Maybe they do it at some others. Upon check out, we had to wait for the cashier to get off the computer and come back behind the register. She did also inform me that she could not issue receipts because something was broken. This is a new store. Even in an old store of any kind, a person gets a receipt. I had been a cashier for many years in part of my life. I would have seen to it that customers received a receipt of some kind. I left and will not be returning or recommending them.

So where I live I have a choice of 2 Family Dollars, one being Belvedere location and the other one being the hilltop location, the hilltop location definitely has a way better selection of pretty much everything. Unfortunately trying to shop at Family Dollar while being a Caucasian in Park Heights is quite a task. The second you walk through the door you are either followed by employees in their uniform or undercover employees assuming that you are there because apparently all white people I steal. All in all though of the Family Dollar options you have in that area, Hilltop is the way to go.

They need a better bagging system when customers are checking out... They also need more employees, the lines get way to long at the registers, a costumer should never have to wait in line for 30 minutes just check out especially when they only have a few items of merchandise

this is the worst dollar store i have ever visited in my life the shelves are always empty apparently that dude is due to lack of staff to stock the shelves apparently the stock is usually in the middle of the aisle waiting to be put away or put for a display and sale horrible.
