Im not a fan of family dollar in general. They mostly seem dimly lit and dingy. They have all these boxes and things in the aisles for stocking and never seem to be stocked and the same mild employees.

Good people work in this store great customer service. Not sure how long it will last because every other person walks in stuff their bags up with stolen goods.

The order was correct. Prepared in a reasonable time frame. Appearance was very good. The food was delicious. I'll be back soon.

I walked in the store last Thursday with an empty bag to purchase allergy medication as I was going to the League for People with Disabilities (down the block) I had a backpack purse with a wallet, cellphone, inhaler, pills and epi-pen. This was about 11:30 am she was a slim black girl with braids.... She told me to check my bags. I asked if I can put my empty bag in my purse she said you need to check that or have a good day. Which means leave the store.I didn't put up a fuss. I'm just wondering if those are your rules. So ladies are to check their purses now!? Make it make sense????? Can't wait to send a nice email to everyone I can find with a family dollar email because between the wrong prices and the employees saying oh well and looking at the customers like we're the problem when it's their Laziness and the employees running off customers who just want to spend money and go.... It's just a matter of time before it's shut down!

Parking lot full of litter, front door shattered since months ago, and rotting awnings, on a building put in place less than ten years ago. A barren asphalt desert built by people who live nowhere near them.

I love this place. They are always polite and have an extensive variety of items to buy at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

It’s always something with this store. They’re always opening and closing. The employees smoke a bunch of cigarettes in front of the store, and it’s overall unprofessional. The employees are always on their phones and not paying attention. They lie and say they have power outages to get out of doing work and can keep going but I’m going to end it here.

A few weeks back I came in to purchase wraps the dark skinned security guard that was behind the register made an invasive comment he told me that I look too professional to be smoking; so now that you know I smoke that makes me less profess? Not that it’s any of his business I smoke for medical reasons. I confronted him and said that he was biased. I no longer feel comfortable going to this store after this encounter. That was a rude thing to say

This Family Dollar has everything. It was like a mini Walmart. Minus the quality but it has the item. They really cater to the neighborhood of the University. Was well satisfied. The three stars was for the stuff that they had but they could clean up a little more because I almost tripped on the items that weren't stocked that were laying in the middle of the Isles

Calling to make sure they are open because lights we're out last week and was not open,They never answer the phone at this location and when am in the store Manger is always on the phone or the phone is up front with him, someone needs to work on that. And also why isn't it any bigger containers of the tide with downy any more? Have to keep buying a small container every week

Store is the worst! Stood in front of cashier for 10 minutes and was never addressed. Clerk ignored me and pointed to manager. Manager acted like I was invisible and continued to kid around & joke with staff. One clerk was very Loud stating that he refuses to wait on gay people. Coworkers all laughed in agreement. Manager didn't intercede or correct employee. This staff doesn't seem to want to wait on Caucasians, either. These are Unacceptable store policies. Will Never return to this store.

Well stocked just about every time I've gone there...thus the lines being a little long, depending the day but the other employees or manager will jump on the register to get it down and you out asap.

I'm surprised that the average rating is 3.4 stars. This store is extremely ghetto, loud, dirty, unorganized. Yes, they have a bunch of stuff but, so does all family dollar stores but the others are at least organized. It's just a bunch of stuff thrown everywhere. I don't like being anywhere that shows yet another embarrassing example of black Americans and I don't feel safe. We are not all loud ghetto, rude and illiterate.

3 months ago I believe the doors were damaged. The store has had plywood and broken out glass. Only in a black community would this store look like this and no one complain. There a reason there are no Family Dollar stores in county area. FD stores are usually dirty and a cluttered mess. They need to be held to higher standards if they want our support.

If you have somewhere important to be or value your time just get back in your car and go somewhere else!!!! If it wasn't for the previous store manager that goes out of her way to work with what she has I would never return to this store again. It doesnt matter what time of day you go there is always one register open. If you in a rush pick another location this is not the one for you. Be prepared to spend at least 10 mins just in the line. And that's no exaggeration I have timed it on several occasions. You will encounter rude staff no older than some of your kids that will provide you with the bare minimum and never smile, they are unable to answer questions, you will get snippy attitudes and the feeling that you spending your hard earned money somehow bothers them. Most of the stuff is locked up chaulk that up to the area it's in. But the store manager and two associates who if you lucky you will go on a day they work will make your experience better. I have come to accept that anytime a Family Dollar store is in a A.A neighborhood this is the service you get. Its the like the company must have a one register only policy on those areas. The one on harford rd and Coldspring is even worst even the manager has a nasty attitude and will watch customers stand in line and wont open a second register claiming to have important paperwork.

Convient location. In the food desert that is our neighborhood, this is the only game in the area for groceries for the car-less. Of course, if you do have a car you've probably never set foot in one. That being said, the customer service folks are very friendly and helpful and work hard as hell. This is especially difficult during the pandemic as they try to meet the demands for grocery starved customers.

It's really the only store in the area since Northwood shopping center is closing down little bit by little bit.The store needs real concern workers to try to keep up with the mess created in part by the customers.Please the ribbons on the registers need to be changed more often, you can't really see anything on it

The store is constantly being robed ,people come in stealing all the time,and the manager does nothing at all ive been harras at the store the manager acts to scared all the time.and the store never stayed stocked up.

They run low on stuff and dont restock the shelves get rid of the expired foods in the freezer they're always running out of plain pringles it's a very clean store I like it

Not a good experience.. the black male cashier has a horrible attitude as it pertains to customer service. The manager is just as rude and obnoxious! But hey, this isn’t chic fil A!!

Worst family dollar ever. Only one register open at all times lines around the store while people steal and walk right out the door. Another thing they always have a sign saying not accepting cash credit only. What the hell is that.
