Repeatly, There's no basket or shopping carts in the entire store. Customers are required to carry the items as best they can to the cashier. Furthermore, the staff had no store bags for patrons to carry out their purchased items. Items in weekly ads are not properly priced at the register. Was overcharged for numerous items on sale. The store manager is non-existent... no customer service skills at all. Very disappointed

The cashiers are welcoming and polite. The $1 aisle (literally $1, not 1.25 like Family Dollar) has a variety of items & is literally heaven sent. However, after a recent purchase I will never shop here for actual food again. Last year I went here & bought the frozen Gorton's fish fillets, only to experience food poisoning symptoms for 3 days after eating them. I said after that I wouldn't buy food there again, but since Price Rite is closed, Dollar General is only nearest location. So, I decided to give it another try. Buying peanuts, chips, soda, macaroni, ice cream and a large "Screamin' Sicilian" pizza. Today, April 4th, I decide to heat up the pizza for dinner only to see an expiration date of April 2nd, 2023 on the box. I bought this pizza on April 3rd. Why is expired food still in your freezers? Your lack of awareness and caution is going to either make someone extremely sick or you're going to catch a lawsuit. Customers already have to be paranoid in that area period because of the shady people hanging around the stores, now they have to be paranoid about what they purchase from your store.

I went there today to use my "Spend $25 - Get $5 off" Coupon. White lady at the door says "Closed". I asked why, so she didn't answer and closed the door. Then I yell "When will you be open again"? She yells back "maybe tomorrow". Wasn't the first time this rude lady ignored me. Typical post pan poor service. The other staff is usually fine and on the friendly side.

Customer service was great. However I was not given all my bags. I have been calling the store for hours to no avail. I want my items or I want my money back real talk. Two pairs slippers missing. These were the last items I purchased. I want my stuff back. No I want my money back period.

I Love the convenient location. Customer service is always friendly and polite . They definitely need more help in the store as well as restocking. But if you could get the people to stop stealing from out of this store it would definitely be a great benefactor to the community. And please hire some more help

Usually great deals, cannot be beaten by anybody for small quantities and seasonal sales, they do go out of stock fast though and have a hard time keeping items stocked and the shelves from empty but the manager always works faster than anyone in the store, and I always see her doing the hard work speeding up purchases and restocking the shelves. Only wish they were consistently open until their official closing times instead of closing half an hour to an hour and a half early sometimes but I’m guessing it’s due to staffing shortage. In summary, great deals... if they have it in stock.

The shelves aren't stocked and the staff is always gossiping about something while you wait in line. This could be a better store if both.of these things were addressed. As an ex store manager I know that if you are off the clock you are not suppose to be behind the register so I wouldn't doubt that they are stealing as well. The store needs a good clean from the floor to the staff.

I was greeted by a Dollar General employee who was so kind and caring. He walked me through my entire shopping trip and even helped me lift heavier products such as Fanta and Pringle’s because I am old and feeble. The best grocery shopping experience of my life. I will be returning biweekly not only to get groceries but for the experience alone, pure ecstasy.

I always go there to purchase Pepsi products; which is always sold at a reasonable price. However, the store isn't as organized (cluttered clothes and merchandise) as it should be. They would do a lot better with sales, if the customer had a clear view of what's available. Lastly, the sales people aren't properly trained and the manager is nonchalant about service.

That store has a little bit of everything from food to household items to clothes, car, laundry to soap, lotion, perfume for women and men children items when I say everything I mean it you name it it's there. With good prices. I love that store and it's convenient. Close to my home. Try it your love it, I know that I do cause when your on a budget it works.

As far as DG's go, this one is not bad. Staff is patient and friendly. Many prices and deals are mislabeled due to old stickers being left on, and stocking can be disorderly. Convenient location and ample parking are a plus. Reliable hours make it a good spot for last minute snacks or missing dinner ingredients. They sell bags of ice up front.

Needed more varieties of certain stock when I went though. One staff member I could've cursed out. IF I wasn't SAVED. YES. Took 7minutes to get one person out of her line, because she couldn't bag with any enthusiasm! And the other one didn't know how to work her register, or the plastic, that took another 5minutes. Immaturity is not welcomed when u are supposedly giving a service to the public. In a pandemic when people Don't even wanna interact with the public. But going out for a NEED IN JESUS CHRIST NAME! This place is a hilarious disaster. I've been coming here for a year and all of those ratings that say the store is clean or orderly is lying. The cashier is almost always on the phone with someone when you go in. I've had the cashier take a call, start crying, and run out while in the middle of my transaction. Today, I had someone tell me that their clearly open register was closed while she and two other women were calling her phone to try to find it. Who is paying you to do this? Is this why the store looks like trash?The whole store is disorganized, poorly stocked, and half the time there's unshelved stock on the floor, blocking the aisle. The shelves literally look like someone knocked everything off of them and then the employees just heaped it back on without organizing it.This place needs to be shut down or renovated and restaffed. It's awful.

Come here regularly (it's walking distance) and spend good time in here either for quick artistic or cooking inspiration, however apparently it's not enough that I pay for whatever i decide on when I do shop there. My being there is suspicious and spoken about loudly and indirectly- NOT by the security guard, but by the hardly working employees. This location has very poor customers service and is NOT friendly, outside of two employees that know what customers service is. Wish I'd gotten their names because they deserve promotions and everyone else deserves a reality check. Better acceptance of patronage, better customers service, and better organization at family dollar on w. pratt st.

Adequate outlet of rapidly growing discount retailer. Store appears a bit dingy. Decent selection of goods. Some prices are bargains, bit on other cases, you pay less for a much smaller quantity or for an inferior good (in the classic economics sense). Do NOT walk off the lot. This store aggressively toqs people who do so and the fee is >$300!

Fairly clean store. Friendly employees. But do not go there if you are in a rush! They always understaff it, presumably to save on labor costs, during times where you'd expect a high volume of customers. You'll see employees stacking the shelves while only one register is open and fifteen customers standing in line. Sad that the electronic doors for the handicapped haven't worked in over a year. Too much money being spent there not to be totally taking care of customers.

Be careful parking when parking on their lot if you aren't shopping there. Your car will be towed quickly and the tow truck driver will take pictures of each isle inside the store to prove you weren't shopping inside. This practice is not to keep the lot open for potential customers but possibly an additional income source for the owners of the lot and is a pretty shady thing to do. Because of this I advise that you do not shop here.

Place was clean and very orderly. Employees were very polite and extremely helpful. We ended up speaking with the assistant manager and she took time to answer our questions and to make sure we had found everything we were looking for it was a good experience I will definitely go back!

This location had quite a bit of customers but I didn't feel like anyone was watching me nor did the employees pester me about walking around along with everything I purchased tonight had outstanding quality for a dollar store, I almost purchased a whole shelf because of how many name brand items where constantly being displayed and even though I stayed in the food section it appeared as if a discount was being presented every time I turned around and as someone who loves bargains this Washington Blvd location will see me again, my only issue was that they it was only one Young Lady working the register this late at night and the wifi was acting up, security was quite condensed but not rude

One of the worst dollar generals ever, nothing is ever stocked, theres only 2 shopping carts, hopefully they get rid of the loud manager that curses all the time or is on the phone, absolutely not enough people ever working, you always have one cashier. They truly need some help... some remodeling and some merchandise!!

Dollar General stores are great for basic supplies -- toilet paper. paper towels, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent and so on. They are a good place to get storage bins, boxes, and drawers, plus they carry the Sterilite brand, which is a good value. Just ignore all the junk and stock up on necessities.

I like that they have frozen fruit and veggies. That's awesome! Unlike other Dollar General they are organized and the isles are clear so you can get down them without clearing a way or cleaning up something.

Hello the cashiers are always welcoming and pleasantly the only thing this store among another one that I patronize are always 95% of the time out of my favorite cereal it won't stay on the shelf I love this cereal I will eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner Frosted Flakes Tony Tiger you just have to do better I go through something when I can't get them can't explain it I just do thank you very muchSincerely Beverly Austin
