They are barely open on time and they close when they want to. Some days they close for no reason, just outta the blue. Store is dirty, not enough cashiers and the shelves are mostly empty. The place is a wreck! Someone find corporates phone number and help save our neighborhood store. I love Dollar General but this one is horrifying...

New mechandise is placed in the middle of aisles so its difficult to reach items on shelves. Cashiers are obnoxiously loud and vulgar. No one answers the phone. Hours of operation are independent from corporate listing.

I used to work at this store. It's always been unprofessional. Unorganized. Just a hot mess. Some of my coworkers we're great others could care less for. My manager she tried her best. People stole out of there like crazy including some employees. I got let go for defending myself. Would I still shop their yes but only for cash back. Would I ever work their again hell to the no.

I work here i love my job we clean the store every day we do our best to keep it up...we clean some customers put it back on the floor...its never a dull moment...photos of how recovery look every night

This store has the worst customer service I have ever encountered in a store. The cashiers are very nice but untrained. And the front end managers on duty are no help at all. If you are going to shop here plan on standing in line for up to an hour. The shelves are empty and the store isdirty. Shopping here is not a pleasant experience. I would recommend if you have a choice do not shop here.

I never went in a store that you need to buy five or more items to get a bag. On top of that the cashier cheated me out of thirty cents. I think you can do better Dollar General.

Just the worst, and I hate to even be that person who writes a bad review. This store needs an overhaul of staff and management there are so many things wrong I don’t know where to begin because the problem is I look for positive things to speak about but I can’t! I guess one positive thing is that their consistent on being a Mess.

Can't understand why this store would close early on a Saturday with the excuse being that they had to put away stock from a delivery!! Shouldn't they do that after hrs..??!! Not the 1st time this happened & it's really inconvenient & frustrating ( especially around the 1st wk of the month !!) This problem needs addressing ASAP!! For the most part, the cashiers are usually friendly, but the store needs to be enlarged cause it's too small for the amount of people in the neighborhood!!

THEE Worst store ever. Never enough CSR help. The Line is always wrapped around the aisle A store filled with people and sox employees. FIVE will choose to stock as the line grows. Lets NOT talk about closing. The internetreads 8pm. Theuy lock ghe foor AT 7pm. !!! Lastly, I don't recall seeing the old store manager any more. An older Caicasian gentleman. THISmay be part of the reason the stores service has declined!!!

Omg only in Baltimore will you see things that are so unbelievable if you told someone about it they wouldn't even believe you. the only reason they get one star and not zero is because the people were at least polite but the shelves are empty oh my goodness I should have taken pictures because it is unbelievable how there is absolutely nothing in this store. I came here last week and the shelves were empty I was expecting that they wouldn't be by now. I don't know whose fault it is that this is an empty store but somebody is definitely to blame and doesn't look like they are being held accountable for anything this is so ghetto. I'm glad I already knew to sit in my car in the parking lot for 20 minutes because I'm sure they were not going to open on time. This is a shame and it's sad thing about it is no one is ashamed. They just act like everything is normal when there's actually no reason to be open when the store is empty. I've never been to a dollar store this terrible in my entire life... by far the absolute worst I've ever seen. Seriously somebody should most certainly have lost their job over this..

This is the worst dollar general I ever been to. The staff are rude and belligerent everyday. Today a staff member cussed out multiple guest and the manager did nothing about it, I guess it’s favoritism because she’s older. She literally used so much profanity and I will be contacting their corporate office. Not only is the place so dirty and cluttered but we still come and spend our money just to be disrespected. The line is always long it’s always one cashier but 3 registers. I don’t know who is giving this place 5 stars because the second you walk in it’s dirty and stink

I attempted to shop here today but the store was closed with no sign posted. Staff inside and door locked so customers repeatedly attempting to enter. It doesn't take much to make a sign stating CLOSED!

Shelves are always empty. Now they are even more empty than before. Staff is usually friendly, but now it seems like a few employees have an attitude and love to turn away repeat paying customers. They like to jump to conclusions and make assumptions about paying customers and their purchases/transactions due to the location of the store. Almost always a long line but it usually moves pretty quick.

Usually they have all that I need there.. only problem is it's a very small store and very tight aisles to try and maneuver through. They could clean up a whole lot more. From the floors to the hand baskets. It just needs a good disinfectant and sanitize. I like it also because of the location not to far from my home, so its definitely convenient.

For thee years I've been shopping at this Dollar General store I've always been satisfied in all areas... the products were always in stock...the cashiers / security officers has forsure shown respect...when lines have been long them cashiers always got them lines down with no problems... making a cash only line along with 2 foodstamp lines.... OVER ALL I HAVE NOT EVER HÀD ANY DISRESPECT/ FUL from anyone or any workers in this store... I will continue too shop there until I cannot no longer....PRICES & WORKERS ARE DEFINITELY OUTSTANDING TOO ME!!!! 🙌🏾💪🏾🙏🏽

Crowded, not enforcing people wearing masks, boxes not unpacked, you get social distance because of the shipment not on the selves.However, customer service is always amazing. The ladies do a great job and always working hard.

This store has both good and bad qualities. The prices are decent for essentials like water and bread for name brand items and they usually have what I need in a rush, that's the good. The bad part is it's always crowded the staff is almost non existent and a lot of times they are highly under stocked or there are just pallets of merch all over the place. Security does nothing regarding the constant children with no home training running around and throwing stuff and expect a wait to get to the register usually only one cashier the rest just stand around on their phones looking uninterested . Last stop if I cant get the item somewhere else. Prefer the location on washington blvd in pigtown plaza

the shelves are always absolutely bear there was no food in any of the freezer or cold sections. there was nothing but pallet full of stuff on racks around crowding the aisle. the cashier was beyond rude. two times in there two times it's been horrible experiences. there is a corner Bodega type store called food Mart or city Mart across the street on the corner that has necessities in it for about the same price or if you have transportation you're better off going a half mile up the road to the family Dollar by mondawmin Mall if you are looking for a dollar store. it's a mess

Store is very, very cluttered and difficult to get around. Especially if you're using a mobility device(wheelchair etc.) Needs to be expanded ASAP. Otherwise it's a very nice store with a little bit of this and a little bit of that. I will still go there because it's convenient.

I just left the front of the store and was told that the store will open at 9.00pm, WHY WASN'T THE PUBLIC TOLD THIS ISN'T BECAUSE IT'S ON THE AVENUE??? Having now deal with the rudeness of the employees, the dirtiness of the store, never having what one needs, now when the people need to get in at 8.00am we're being told 9.00am opening. PLEASE CLOSE THIS STORE SO EVERYONE CAN GET A MIND SET TO GO TO WAL-MART. WALMART HERE I COME. This store Sucks and the good reviews are from the people that works there. What CORPORATE NEED TO DO IS HIRE A SECRET SHOPPER. The shelves that are stocked are from employees right after they somewhat stock the shelves.

Can't keep the shelves stocked, never open on time. That area needs a make over. Switch out Dollar general for a family Dollar. Put a Dollar Tree and a good Food market in the "Avenue Market".

Great store! Everything is a dollar! You can find all sorts of good stuff that you wouldn't have even expected to be there! Phone charging wires was a big surprise to me, cause usually they are $10 or more!

The lady that waited in me was very nice, but the store itself is rached as hell. The store is dirty and way too many people standing around in and outside the store including the security. And they have the nurve to want you to pay to park on their parking lot. I took a chance on getting a parking ticket by parking on the street for fear that someone might break into my car. I will never go to that one again.
