I’ve brought my dog, Jax, to Bark Social multiple times now and absolutely love it! First, the location is great because you don’t have to go into the city and you have ample free parking! Once you’re inside, they have plenty of room for pups to run around and play and have people walking around to monitor everything, pick up waste, etc. There are TVs, Wi-Fi, food and drinks (including alcohol) and everyone is so nice! Today was the first time having my dog’s birthday party there - the prices were absolutely fair, they put us inside the club room since it was so cold and had an amazing cake for all the dogs to enjoy. Can’t recommend enough

Great place to hang out and kick back while your dogs run off some energy. You can have a good time without feeling like you have to watch your pup like a hawk. I love that I know all dogs have up to date shots and records on file, and the staff ("Bark Rangers") do a super job of monitoring dogs to ensure no one plays too rough or too mean. Highly recommend!

Love that Bark Social opened in Baltimore! I had been to the Bethesda location before, and while Baltimore’s is much smaller it’s still a great space. The staff is great, they’re super friendly and always attentive with the dogs. Food and beverages lose a star for being horribly overpriced but otherwise this place is awesome!Kid-friendliness: I would leave the kiddos at home, especially when it’s crowded. Dogs will be dogs, and I’ve seen kids get knocked down a couple times.

Whoever thought of this is a genius. I was very impressed by the rules and precautions in place to make this an enjoyable experience for all the dogs and humans. The entry cost (per dog, not human) is fair, there's plenty of drink (alcohol, non-alcoholic) and food options (though it did honestly appear a little overpriced), and several different seating options. It was really nice being able to not have to watch our Shiba too closely because there are staff in place to monitor everything. The dogs have free range of the space, which has covered, outdoor, and indoor areas. There is a small pen for smaller dogs, and a shop with lots of different and very cute apparel and pet items. Kids / babies are allowed, BUT parents do be aware: it was very difficult to let my toddler freely roam without a dog instantly getting in his face or jumping on him, no matter where we sat (on the stair-like seating, on top of the picnic tables, on the ground, etc.). We wouldn't bring him back not because there was anything wrong with the business or something happened, I just personally didn't feel comfortable not having a space for him without dogs I don't personally know all over him.

My first experience…. I was taking my dog there for the first time and they said we couldnt go in because her shots were not up to date. So…. I had my dog fixed last November at a discounted animal services place. Because I didn’t have her records they gave her shots as if she had never been vaccinated and marked them as such, writing they needed to be done again in 2 weeks. I knew they didn’t need to be redone because she wasn’t out of date in none of her shots and never have been. So when it came time for her annual, I did not get her shots because animal services just gave them to her. When I went to Barks social, I showed the lady all of my dog’s shots records since she was a baby. I showed her the dates of her vaccines, that showed that when she went to animal services that she was not out of date and def didn’t need a repeat vaccine. They still wouldn’t let her in because apparently they are not knowledgeable in how dog vaccines work. I was very disappointed that I drove all the way there and was turned away. Haven’t decided if I will return after I get my Vet to give me a vaccine record with a letter head showing exactly what I was already showing them. Luckily there was a dog park down the street that was free and my baby still ended up having a great day!!

I came here on the weekend after they opened and I have great things to say about it. The staff here is very friendly, the amenities are clean and well taken care of, and the seating and space seemed plenty (granted I came here on a drizzling day). I also felt that the place was safe for our dog and others. My wife and I bought the monthly membership which seemed like a good price for such a nice space. We definitely plan on coming back here often. The only negative comment I have is that I thought the prices of the drinks were a little high, especially considering I already paid to get in.

Been here a few times and love it. Gonna check out the Bethesda one soon. Great fun for my little dog. He's not a dog person but he's a big people person. The staff are all so friendly. Food and drinks are very yummy. I can't wait to go back and I need to get my life together so I can get up early enough to try the breakfast.

Best service and dog park in the city! Love the buffalo dip and it is a daily stop of mine since moving back to Baltimore! Also, has a great day camp option if you wanted to drop your 🐕 off and get some things done!

OUR FAVORITE PLACE 🙌 Such a truly wonderful idea and perfect addition to the neighborhood! All visiting dogs must fill out their forms and provide recent vaccination records (super easy to do online - absolutely recommend doing ahead of time!) so it’s easy to feel comfortable with all the dogs playing. Plus they have great drinks and new menu bites to grab during your visit - fun for happy hour OR if you’re early risers like us and need a fun thing to do at 8am! ☺️

Bark Social is a wonderful facility to bring your dog to, alternatively to public dog parks. It’s been an overall positive experience; even though we continue to have struggles with the check in process. Bark Social goes above and beyond promoting the benefits of annual membership — complete with front row parking, food/drink/store credits, 3rd-party discounts, free swag — the works! All of this, only to fall short for annual members at the point of entry..? Even with our Apple Wallet Bark Social membership card, we continue to experience challenges at check in: whether it be confirming our membership as assigned to us as dog/owner, prioritizing our check in during high traffic entry (given how seamless the process is intended here), and overarching customer service from the younger attendants. Hoping as we continue to visit this year our check in experience improves.Vegetarian options: There are a number of vegetarian options. Less so with vegan.Wheelchair accessibility: 100% accessible.

We went to Bark Social on Sunday afternoon. It was actually Easter. It was our first time there. We had a very nice experience. I had a question about our bill and I called back a couple days later and spoke to the manager Rebecca….Rebecca went out of her way to please us, and make sure we were very happy… I highly recommend for anyone that wants to go for a relaxing day with their dog and maybe get a beer or wine or some food!

I love Bark Social. My dog and I are definitely regulars there. She loves running around with other dogs and getting attention from all the people. The frose and the beer tap wall are great as well!Kid-friendliness: I wouldn't recommend bringing kids that cannot stand confidently on their own. Also kids that are going to run around may not be happy if a dog starts to chase them. This is a dogs place first- then a bar.

I love this place! Every employee that I’ve encountered is so helpful and friendly. Kiah helped me get my dog signed up for the dog sitting and day camp. I had a lot of questions and she was patient with me! My dog loves it there because the staff are so loving to the dogs. I would recommend this place and you can’t go wrong with a free day pass for your first time.

Our first day was free, which was awesome. The Bark Rangers were on top cleaning up the poo and breaking up situations. The water tubs were brought out as the weather warmed up for the pups to play in. Water dishes all over for drinking. A nice range of music to listen too. Plenty of tables and changes for humans to sit it. Humans are free too, so you can enjoy a coffee or beer with a snack while the pups play, or lay next to you like mine pup chose to do for a good amount of time. I only wish we had one a little closer to home.

Like the Freaknik of dog parks. If you have a small dog breed, I do not recommend. We brought our pup for a first time visit, and could not even make it through the gate without being bombarded by overly excited dogs. Our poor puppy was swarmed by 5-6 larger breeds with some attempting to mount her, while both the staff and other owners all watched as if this perfectly acceptable. By park rules maybe it is, but certainly doesn’t make for a welcoming first experience for a new pup. Our pup was visibly shaken from the experience. Needless to say the visit didn’t last very long. Management could certainly do more to restrict the dogs access to people entering and the food area.Coincidentally, they do have a small breeds cramped little space, that is not even the size of a standard row home backyard.

Depending on the time you go will dictate your experience. As a professional in animal care, specifically canine care and training, the staff members here do not have enough training. I had to explain what raised hackles mean to an employee who thought a dogs parent cut their hair into a mohawk. If you come early in the day or on a slow day the energy of the dogs is nice, everyone gets along peacefully and theres enough staff to keep an eye on all the dogs. If you come at a busy time you're going to have to play employee just to keep others dogs from mounting yours. My two dogs come together and generally just play with each other. Today I brung my two pups and they were being non-stop mounted by other dogs to the point where I had to physically step in, just to be told by an employee " Do not touch other people's dogs, thats what we're here for". I will always 100% advocate for my dogs and if that means me physically stepping in and diffusing the situation then so be it. The lack of concern for bad behaviors such as mounting & snapping is going to cause a pack fight. This place could be so much better if staff was well trained and could prevent negative behaviors instead of ripping the same problem dogs off of other dogs. I attend bark social weekly and theres constantly problem dogs who are non-stop stalking & mounting other dogs. I would love to continue to bring my dogs here but there are dogs that should be banned from attending and allowed to come back after training is completed. This place is a short walk from our condo but if these issues continue to persist I will be giving my business to a local private dog park instead.

Great place to hang out, relax or socialize, while letting your dog have a blast! Great atmosphere and plenty of room for the dogs. They even put dog pools out on the warm sunny days.

A heaven for dog lovers! Even if you don’t have a dog it’s so heartwarming to see dogs of every shape, size and color running around and playing with the others. The place is super clean and well managed. There’s outdoor and indoor seating. Beer is on the tap and you get to choose it yourself but it’s way more expensive than a regular bar. A Sam Adams 10 oz or less costs $9 + taxes . So that’s the price you pay to see some beautiful dogs.

I am so glad we found Bark Social. Its a dog park, but with food, drinks, and most importantly employees to help manage the rowdier dogs! Speaking of, the employees are the heart and soul of this place. You wont find kinder or more attentive people. We visited once and knew we had to get the yearly membership, and now we visit at least 3-4 times a week!Oh and Very Handicap Accessible!

Fantastic venue for both dogs and their humans to relax and have fun. The ability of the dogs to run back and forth at ease between the indoor and outside portions of the club allows flexibility for have freedom to play. Space heaters allow everyone to stay warm in winter. Full menu breakfast and bar food to order, including many vegetarian options. Extensive array of alcoholic and caffeinated beverages to choose from while you relax. You can easily spend hours, watching sports on the numerous big screen TV’s or working on your laptop using the free WiFi, as you your day moves from lattes to libations, all while your dog plays with friends. There’s even a bathing station to clean up your pup before hitting the gift shop on your way out the door.

We used to love this place, but recently we had two awful experiences. Some dogs play a little rough (not judging; maybe some have energy accumulated), and the manager and workers have different criteria for dealing with those situations. The rules should be clear and public so paying customers can see them. Also, the food is really bad.

I have lived all over the country and have been to many dog park bars- this is the worst due to the lack of support from management. I could not believe the only tool to break apart dogs are barktenders hands. Where are the air horns? The spray bottles? Plastic bottles with rocks to shake? With more support from management, this bar could be a much safer place. The barktenders are doing all they can (with a lot of love) and to be honest, they are putting themselves in positions they should not be liable for.
