We went there for a little potatoe salad. We paid three dollars for two tablespoons of potatoes with mayo and pepper. It was the worst we have ever tasted. The food was not being maintained under a heat lamp and the food area was dark. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The owner was standing guard at the door when we exited and didn't even speak. I don't recommend this establishment to anyone.

Come down for a sandwich on father's Day to get this. I didn't care for you're excuses about the bread being bad and you have to send it back why use it on customers sandwichs

Great one stop store from beer, wines, whiskey, to a small scale grocery store and deli with best fried chicken in town and home made sides to up from with big selection of cigarettes, cigars, chew tobacco and the vape devices and pods. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and over 48 different scratch off and other Md lottery offerings. They have bait and tackle and fishing rods and coolers. They have oil and different car fluids. It is more then a normal connivence.

The pizza is some of the best in the county, the staff are always nice and willing to help. They sell everything from A to Z. It’s a wonderful for a quick and simple stop :)

The rivalry of Murphys chicken vs Chaptico Market, many a local debates this ultimately failing to provide a clear exact verdict. What I can say is that Capt Sams decline has only allowed Murphys to benefit. While I do understand they have the luxury of being the only proper store around (Leonardtown being 15 minutes away one way atleast). It is unfortunate how they capitalize on this luxury to some extent. That said Murphys still has its small town allure, the employees are pleasant, cheerful, positive, familiar. The food can remind you of a pleasant home style meal, JoJos are delicious and fresh. [
