This was our 1st trip to the new tasting room. It is a great space. The addition of the private gathering room, pizza, and salads along with wine slushies was a welcomed surprise. Brandi was an absolute delight. We had a great time and can not wait to come back with more friends.Parking: The garage is behind the building on the lower level. It is well lit, and the elevator takes you to the door of the tasting room.

Great place to visit, one of my go to spots in the area. Love their Cobb salad with a flight. I like the fact that they have a variety of wines and you can do a flight and that comes with four tastings of almost any wine they have on the menu. A flight goes for about $10 which is a good price if you never been there or new to drinking wine and trying to figure out what you like. The person that served my mom and I was named Tasha. She was very knowledgeable of the wines and engaged in good conversation about the winery and other things in general. If you are in the area or going to the Olney theater add the winery as part of your beautiful evening.

Stopped in for first time for drinks before heading out to dinner. Although we didn’t have a pizza, they looked delicious so we will be back to try one! Ordered a flight of reds and decided the Malbec was our favorite. Had a band playing but it was a bit louder than we would’ve liked. Too hard to talk. Can’t wait to come back!

Wow!!! To think a place like this isn't yet packed to the point of never finding a seat. Only second time here and still dumbfounded. My wife asked if they thought they may ever add soup to the menu, and their chef Michele surprised her with a one of kind curry chicken soup amd loaf of bread that he made just for her. Only thing he asked in return, "Please take care of the staff." On top of that, the soup and bread were absolute perfection. Once this place is truly found by everyone, it will then be hard to find a seat. Takes a lot these days to impress me, but they honestly hit every mark. Bravo.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options. Cauliflower crust in a wood fired oven.Wheelchair accessibility: Garage with an elevator if required.

This is a very nice Winery. It is not your typical winery you would find in the countryside, but even though it's located in the middle of a city neighborhood, it is still a fantastic place. We had our daughter's engagement party there and the service was amazing. They did everything to make us happy and I can truly say everyone at the party (about 40 people) loved this place. We had the charcuterie boards and the pizza which both were excellent and our partygoers loved all of it. We had four-five different types of wine and again each of which was outstanding.Whether you're just out looking for a winery or looking for a place to host a party, I would highly recommend Olney Winery.

I waited way to long to go but I'm so happy I did. I went to their 1st brunch this past Sunday September 24th and was blown away with the delicious brunch pizza and tasty mimosas. The staff was superb and friendly and I felt at home. The pizza was so good that I ordered 5 more to take with me to a friend's home as we were gathering for the Commanders game(no comment), and they all loved it! I will most definitely be back and bring my family and friends!!!

Our company, Creative Edge Signs, manufactured and installed the main sign on the front of their business. We worked directly with the owner, Joe McCall. Upon installation of completion of the work Joe ghosted us. We are owed over $3000 and it's been over a year. As a commissioned salesman who does not get paid until a job is paid in full, this has effected me personally. It's pretty much like stealing food off my children's plates.

The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great. I ordered a flight of fruit and dessert wines, which were good. The pizza is delicious. I was surprised to find out that they don't have a vineyard, but order their "grape product" from overseas. Only giving 4 stars because I got a terrible headache after leaving, which happens when I drink certain wines.

This is another place I liked that was moved away from the Olney Town Square to the Olney Sandy Spring Road area In Ashton , Maryland . The Parking Lots for the place are not as big as I thought they would be . and you have to walk a bit to get there from the parking area. as You go inside this place will astonish you its bigger and better than ever . It has a huge center bar area for the wine tastings and crackers and cheese and snacks . They have in the Back a Huge Open Concept Kitchen with a Brick Oven Pizza Oven back there . They have salads and soups as well and kore on the menu . They have a back area near The Open Concept Kitchen where to sit where It has Wi Fi for Cell Phones and more . They have another place another dining area where they have barrels willed with their batches of wines too on racks and they have Clean Updated Bathroom facilities . The Brick Oven Pizzas were every well done as I expected But I was expecting bigger versions but its a small size pie pizza . But I Loved it anyway . They have Live Acoustic Entertainment I think Ever Friday or Saturday Nights , But I think they should Think Of Bringing Back Karaoke to the Place since I have Connections to Karaoke DJ's they can have If they want it . Plus to make sure the place is successful I put them on TikTok , Twitter, And Facebook to get customers to come back where they belong after 4 years what the Covid Pandemic Did to all of Us to divide us against each other . Its time to put things right again and bring back business as it should and must be again for the right reasons without the Politics . So If You Love this Place as I do this is for you . So Come On Down, We Hope to see you all Very soon .

This place has a great atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and explained how the place worked. The wine however was not good. They get imported "grape product" which should have been the first sign the wine was not going to be great. Had a small tasting of the 'Malbec' which is called the Incan Roja. Tasting was ok and we purchased the bottle, but once we opened the bottle and let it breathe, all we could taste were fake chemicals. My husband said it tasted like lipstick, I said it tasted like perfume. Whatever it was, there was a lot more in the wine than just grapes and natural vanilla/spices. We noticed this after the bottle had been open for roughly an hour. Additionally, the description on the in-house menu for the wines was not consistent with what the wine bottles said. Example, in-house Malbec was the Incan Roja, but the bottle labeled it as a 'red table wine' with no mention Malbec on the label, nor as a grape type used. For the sake of fairness, we did try only this one wine, very possible others could be better. Will definitely try it out again to see if it was a fluke or not. Hoping it is, the place esthetically and customer-service wise was great.

Nice spot for an after dinner date drink. Wide open social bar. Lots of wines to taste. Friendly servers. We came on a groupon which is a great deal. Snatch them up whenever they pop up. But they have good specials all week long. Nice spot in Olney.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time. This winery is located in center of Town center shopping center. It is cute and low key, however there was no actual vineyard. The ambiance in the winery was nice, there was good social distance practicing and no wait. They also have tables separate from the bars that sit off by themselves for more privacy. We purchased a Groupon which offered 5 tastings a take home souvenir glass and $10 off a purchase. The selections we picked were really good and our server even suggested some great ones. The Raspberry Chocolate Dessert wine was absolutely delicious, and if your looking to try a good red that’s smooth the Barolo was amazing and I usually don’t like dry wine. They had a selection of baguettes, a cheese platter or even peanuts and kettle chips for purchase. You also had the option to bring in your own food, or even sit at there outdoor seating and take you drinks out with you. Overall an amazing experience and we took home some great new bottles, we will be back soon for another girls night!

The best winery in MD (in my humble opinion). We ordered wine favors for our wedding and we loved the results. The wine is delicious, the staff are so helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere of the bar makes you feel comfortable enough to spend a few hours. I highly recommend this gem!

This was my first time here and fruit wines are now my favorite! The wines I tried were the Citrus fruit wine (my favorite), Cherry Fruit wine, White Zinfandel, Ice wine (too sweet for my taste), abd the chocolate one (19% abv!). The ambiance was great with live music. They followed COVID guidelines by allowing only a max if 14 people inside but also has tent seating outside. I will be back. By the way, they honor groupon which is great!

The wine here is great if you love sweet or fruit wines. During COVID they are having outside tastings in the parking lot.If you are looking to enjoy scenery, this is not the place. It is located in a shopping center. The staff was awesome, very friendly and accommodating with our MD wine pass. They also allow outside food so we brought you typical wine pairing foods.I think the best time to go is when they first open so their is seating available.

Checked out Olmert today after my wife found a Groupon... a nice place to stop in, if you’re in the area or hitting the shops. The staff were very pleasant and the atmosphere was nice (inside w size limited to 12 max). They had ALOT of wines - maybe 25 or 30? Everything from traditional reds and whites to fruit wines and dessert wines. They buy their grapes from other regions and make their own wine.Worth a stop, especially if you like sweet fruit wines.

The Olney Winery is one of my favorite local staples. The staff is always welcoming and the wine is delicious. They offer various flavors according to your taste. I love that the Olney Winery provides specialty wines for members monthly. They deliver right to your door or a safe pick up option. I’d highly recommend for great wine and to support a wonderful local business. The prices are very reasonable and if you are a wine drinker you have the option to join the wine club.

I first visited with a group of friends to hang out over wine tasting. We had a wonderful time! They had larger tables available for a group and we were allowed to bring our own food. I had since returned for a date night on a Groupon, which was also a wonderful experience! The bar staff was friendly and helpful and we loved the live music.

Nice spot for being in a strip mall. The bartender's knowledge and explanation of each wine was excellent and helpful. The wines were mostly tasty and we'll balanced, with a few I'd personally pass on if I returned. It would be nice if they had more food offering outside the 3 small cheese plates. Worth a try if you have hadn't been here prior.

Enjoyed a complimentary wine tasting with amazing customer service in a low key and comfortable environment. Ended up buying 6 bottles of different fruity and white wines. Although this has probably been said before, this is an "urban winery" not a vineyard.

I had a reservation for wine tasting and when we got there on time, we waited over 20 min while the 2 workers tended to other guests repeatedly and took the order of people who walked in after us. They said 3 times they would be with us but never started us or gave us menus to look at. I don't blame the servers because you could tell the business was understaffed and they were trying hard but the people next to us had been there the entire time we had been there and were only on taste #1. This business has a lot of potential if the owners get more staff. We ended up leaving without getting anything because we didn't want to wait so long for a tasting we made reservations for.

If you like sweet wine, this is your place. If your palate is a little more developed, it has limited selections in the dry and tart areas. We tasted several wine, purchased quite a few. We probably would have purchased more if the tasting staff had been in less of a rush. One staff member took my husband's glass before he'd finished tasting, then when she realized her mistake she said, " Oh! You haven't finished. Here." She was offering him the mixture of his current tasting wine and the next one she had cured to clear the glass. Gross.Another staff member ignored me when I asked to order food, trying to finish our purchase. I assume this was due to the "shift change" she referenced. Only the male staff member seems friendly and personable. After reading other reviews, I'm hoping this was an off day for them.

I came in for a wine tasting and was told that the only available area to do wine tastings was at the bar area. I did not prefer this but there was nothing else I could do about it. I found it odd that during the tasting, you can only taste one wine at a time, and they use the same glass over and over, they pour the new wine in, dump it and pour the same new wine back into the glass. The tasting was served with 2 Hershey Kisses and a pack of oyster crackers. I saw other patrons get the charcuterie boards, the meat and the cheese ones, the servings were very small and cost $14 for a cheese plate and $20 for a meat and cheese plate. The snack tray was the only thing that seemed worth the price because it came with a larger amount of food. I have purchased these wines outside of this location and all of their fruit wines are sweet. I was told by the server that the wine is imported mainly in fruit juice form before they turn it into wine. The seating is a very small area and I would not come back because the bar became packed and the server forcibly made us move because "someone else has a reservation".

Great space well decorated. Servers were helpful, and we loved all of the wines we chose for our tasting. Great place to try out some local fruit flavored wines. Limited food menu is offered, but not much. Social distancing was enforced while seated at the bar which was appreciated.

I can't say enough good things about this winery! My fiance and I have been coming here for almost 2 years and have never had a bottle of wine we didn't, at the very least, like... most we love! We are members of the 1800 wine club and find it such a treat. It's always been a great date night option. Love Olney Winery and its community.
