I have to say that I’ve been shopping at the store for over 30 years and was completely disappointed by what happened when I purchased a washer dryer combo from them last August 2023. I purchased the washer dryer with delivery and the people that delivered it damage the door to my laundry room and put the washer dryer in cockeyed, saying that it didn’t fit although it was the exact same measurements of the one they removed. The gentleman who delivered the washer said just let it run through a cycle and then they left. When the cycle was over, water began to come from the bottom in a full flow. Turns out they hadn’t bothered to hook up the hose to the back and everything that was in the washer came out onto my floor with my washer dryer on the second floor, it destroyed the ceiling below the hardwood floors and other things in my home.I immediately called the store and the response was “what do you want us to do about it?” Blaming it on the delivery company. They gave me the name of their insurance company who immediately dismissed it is not their problem and referred me to HB Hunt through delivery company a few few days later.Unfortunately, by that time anyone who’s ever had a problem with water knows that you have to deal with an immediately. So I had to call my own insurance company to come in and they had someone here with an hour and a half asking me why I waited a few days.Explain to them that I was waiting to hear back from. When I finally did talk to HB they told me that they had contracted another company who had contracted someone to deliver it. It was a process trying to figure out who that was and when you finally did, he called that number and a answering machine answered the phone. Obviously someone working out of their home , I didn’t have a problem with that but nobody refused to take responsibility. It is now nine months later and they still refused to pay. My insurance rates have doubled and I never got my deductible back.My insurance company was going through subrogation with them, which is where insurance company reimburses the other, but the final person doesn’t respond to their company so they won’t do anything about it.Strikes me I contacted Home Depot and they should be forward to the people they choose to do their deliveries.On top of the dryer, washer and dryer and I had returned. Subsequently I have purchased a wonderful washer dryer from Lowe’s. They delivered it covered their feet when they brought it home and put it in the exact same spot with no problems hooked it up and waited to make sure that it was working before they left. Turns out Loews does their own deliveries. So they stand behind the person who brings it to your home.I stood in the store. I could speak to the general manager, who promised that he would, but I’ve had no help. I am infuriated by the behavior of that store.Recently, I went in and spoke to a woman named Ava who works in the appliance department. She was helpful and getting me some documents that I needed since mine were destroyed in the flood. But still crickets I highly recommend not purchasing appliances from them, especially if you’re going to have them delivered. They simply don’t stand behind their products and they delivered my opinion from the time that I spent the money the time that was delivered properly was the end of their responsibility when they handed it off to someone who handed it off to someone who handed it off to someone. How ridiculous, they just lost over 33 years and Loews has gained one. We don’t have a in Annapolis. I’ll have to drive to least. I know if I purchase something they’ll stand behind it all the way to my doorstep.

Had an install of Kitchenaide dishwasher by Home Depot professional. The person left it running and very quickly after started kicking out water leak code. Customer reps were not helpful to get fixed, reinstalled or replaced. We will have to get another company to come in and remove and replace. Considering it is a potential water leak I would have expected Home Depot to have someone come over more quickly to address but they want to wait 4 days meanwhile they took away our working just older dishwasher. Unsatisfied is an understatement for a long time customer.

Went to buy a freezer at this Home Depot today. It took the longest to get assistance and the woman in the department was very little help. She was sitting down and wouldn’t get up to direct us or help us find them just said they were in the back. Found one I wanted which I found was damaged on the side so I asked for a discount. A stock guy who was helpful said he would find out about a markdown and came back saying the manager would approve $60 off. Then he left and came back with a sticker that was not $60 off only $50. He said his manager would now only do 25% off MSRP instead of what the selling price was. I asked to speak with the manager and he never came to remedy my concern. He instead talked to me on the phone to tell me there was nothing further he could do for me. I asked him only for a mere extra 5% off to honor what I was told and he denied it. Customer service like this is a disgrace for a large company such as Home Depot and I now understand why people buy online now. A small 5% extra would have made a happy customer but he chose to not honor what was promised to me by his employee which is why I’m taking the time to voice my displeasure with this management. They lost a two hundred dollar sale as well as a customer because I will not be returning there. I’ve shopped at many Home Depots and I spend a lot of money and this was by far my worst experience.

I was searching for a bolt. When I entered I stopped at Customer Service. The lady escorted me to the expert (Yes, expert.) He searched with me and showed me the name and the dimensions and checked another local store to assure me they had the bolt in stock. He borrowed my phone to get a good pic of the bin codes and the bolt. I got my bolt at the other store from the expert there (Yes, expert.) I am a fan of Home Depot.

My husband and I went to get a Tip Risk Kit for our new dressers. We looked for 30 minutes and couldn’t find anything that resembled what we had come in for. Two different male employees sent us to look, but to no avail. We were ready to just go home and find it online. Suddenly, along came Ethel! She asked if we needed help and listened carefully to what we were requesting even confirmed that children and older people are both injured at times by falling dressers. After looking intently, Ethel found exactly what we needed!It was a relief to see someone who was not willing to give up and was helpful above and beyond what most people give you. I appreciate Ethel’s professionalism and kind help today.. Please let her know that we wrote this.

The staff at this Home Depot really cares about customers, Liz, Tom Ashton… from helping you find what you need, buying it, loading it in your car and even returning what you didn’t use!they are great pleasant and helpful. The lady at customer service when I returned a dozen16-foot boards helped me unload - didn’t have my receipt. She found the transaction with my credit card and she was wonderful. I should’ve remembered her name too. Thank you. Whoever you are will be back.

Quite possibly the most poorly managed store I’ve had the displeasure to visit. Just tried to rent a power washer. It didn’t work. Returned it. Guy at tool rental didn’t even know how to hook up the hoses. Next one he tried didn’t work. Asked for a manager. They called him. He never showed up. Disaster in every way.

If you need blinds cut don't bother, half the time it takes a half hour for the person that does it to show up and half the time they just tell you they can't do it. Don't waste your time.

Had a hard time finding special light bulb. Twice I bought the wrong kind online … I got up and went to Home Depot in Annapolis WITH the lamp….. at first I was terribly overwhelmed and unable to find the correct bulb, and then MS DELORES came over to help and she #1 was extremely polite#2 more than willing to drop what she was doing to help me#3 had EXCELLENT customer service skills and was very knowledgeable about the light bulbs , even educated me on the differ types of lighting!!! She was awesome and made my day! Thanks soooo much MS DELORES

Comparing this location to the other Home Depot in Annapolis on Defense Hwy... They are literally next to each other but for Hwy 50 running between them. That said:Customer service is almost nonexistent at this location. Many employees don't seem to wear the orange aprons, just a name tag, making it difficult to spot them. I think they do this on purpose, because none of them will walk up to you to ask if you need assistance. Meanwhile, over in the other store every employee is instantly recognizable, and every employee when they walk past you will ask if you found everything you need or do you need help.The store layout does not match the information provided in the app. For example, I was looking for a specific plumbing part, and the app told me it was on aisle 7 bin 18. Aisle 7 bin 18 was paint. Where I actually found it was on the little stubby shelving behind the appliances, which if I remember correctly was labeled aisle 33. This is not the first time I have not been able to find something using the app at this location. I did double check to ensure that I was on the correct store location.The parking lot has a terrible layout for a home improvement store. The worst part of it is the parking lot is uphill from the store, so when you're trying to get your heavy items up to your vehicle that's parked in the parking lot, it takes an inordinate amount of effort to do so. So. So what most people do is they bring their vehicle around to the front of the store and load there. The problem is on a busy weekend that could make getting past that area when you're trying to get into the store almost impossible.Overall, I would give this store two stars, but for the fact that it has an equipment rental section. Now the availability of things in the rental section is another issue altogether, but the fact that they have one and the other location does not gives it an additional star.

Cindy B.(photo below) in customer service is always friendly, efficient and just the best! 😍But, the muscle man in paint dept. treated me with impatience, lack of courtesy. Isn't his job to focus on customers? He treated me ike I was wasting his time. Also I've used Behr before on deck, didn't last 3 years! Disappointing. So I drove to Lowe's paint dept. Help was excellent in Severn.

Going to this Home Depot is one of the most underwhelming experiences. Nothing is available in the store anymore so instead they tell you to order it online. Second, the staff is absolutely worthless as a whole. If you have a question get ready to answer it yourself or get an attitude from one of the employees. All the tools and materials are absolute trash as well.

Ordering from them was a living hell. I tried ordering carpet and it took nearly 5months! First they blamed the vendor then it turned out they didn’t read an email properly. I should have cancelled but customer service kept saying to wait and I really needed it.They kept giving me the run around. They said they’d give me a partial refund (with what how long I waited it should have been more) then they only refunded .31 cents. Then I had to call up service and they had to correct it. This was the worst customer service I’ve ever had they're friendly but extremely frustrating. I won’t ever come back I recommend not ordering from this location because they don’t have it together.

It’s everything you would expect from a smaller Home Depot. The other Annapolis location is bigger and looks newer but the employees here are super helpful and it’s closer to me so always my first stop.

Trying to get something delivered from this location is an absolute nightmare.They missed the delivery date twice, and after the second time they rescheduled on a day that did not work without communicating or trying to contact me at all throughout the entire process. With both missed deliveries, they just left it up to me to call customer service and sort it out on my own, which is when I learned they had rescheduled for a third time without any communication.It would have honestly been easier to just take the time to rent a vehicle and pick up the order myself.

I always have had such a great experience with the employees at this Home Depot’s Prodesk. I frequent this store on a weekly basis for lumber purchases and always enjoy chatting with the people that work there. Also, when I am loading up my vehicle I am always greeted by a very helpful man named Mike. He has worked at Home Depot for many years and is such a hard worker and great asset to their team!
