Our local store finally had some Passover items including Matzo. I bought it and on Passover upon opening the box it smelled like chemicals and was not edible. In general, the management lacks sensitivity to Jewish holidays and rarely carries anything we need or want in that regard....even in advance of Hanukkah.

It's like Trader Joe had an affair with whole Foods and out popped the Fresh Market. Yeah, they have fresh and tasty foods with outstanding customer service. Bulk coffee, bulk chocolate, and bulk sweets are on point. I love the selection of niche food items as well.

The standing rib roast that I ordered for Thanksgiving was terrible. I ordered a 6 rib roast and only got 5 ribs. The meat quality was well below what I have come to expect from Fresh Market. Very disappointing!

*UPDATE** >>>Saturday January 28, 2023...Thought I'd give Fresh Market Online ordering another try. Here is what happened:placed my online order last night for pickup today, Saturday, January 28 2023, between 11am-12n EST.I recd text advising no chicken wings or creamy Cole slaw & to reply "Y" that I was notified & accepted the refunds for these products.Before picking up I called my store & spoke to Jason in Deli. He said wings were available but he now would have to make more to cover my order request. I could not add them back to my online order & would have to pickup & pay at the store. Which I did.When I got home, I saw there were 2 large bunches of celery & 2 bottles of Fresh Market Buttermilk Blue Cheese Dip. If you look at my online order - it says the price for 1 celery "stalk" & shows 1 stalk photo. I ordered 2 celery "stalks" - NOT 2 bunches.My online order of the Blue Cheese Dip is for 1 bottle only...NOT 2 bottles.I will return the 2 celery bunches & 1 bottle of dressing back to the store for a refund.I do not want to keep them.You all have made this a very inconvenient day.I returned the items to the store. I did not ask for a refund - too damn upset about this whole ordeal. I use a cane & online ordering is a benefit for me. The responsibility of the people who shop for online orders must shop with accuracy. I trusted they did. If there is a question about the order - the customer should be called immediately to verify. Very service & needs much improvement. The store claims to be top of the line customer service - no they are not. As I have said before - we have many choices in Annapolis MD. I do not recommend this store.______________________________It's Monday Aug 22...often out of products I purchase in last 6 weeks. Today I saw creamy cold slaw available in deli section ( none available last Friday mid morning)- no one around @ approx 120pm . I waited about 5 min & lady finally showed up - she took my order, grabbed a container & filled it - all without washing hands or wearing gloves!! I left the slaw. Needless to say, it is unacceptable!!! When I shop at The Fresh Market I demand the highest quality products & customer care!Today & other recent missing product for weeks does not encourage me to shop at your store anymore! I hope thos serves as a wake-up call to improve your Annapolis Store.We do have other choices.UPDATE: 4/25/24: Ordered on app. I included comments on some ordered items, which is beneficial but not acknowledged by shopper. I rec'd txt of replacement items & response Y or N . Thursday is $6/ rotisserie chicken - sometimes good, sometimes ( bad - overcooked - parts of meat is hard in some places). There is no sign for pickup & 2 spots in lot are always taken- people ignore the signs, so I park with flasher on in front of store. I am told this is okay but of course I must move if fire truck arrives.

Really poor staffing on Saturday, Dec 2..not my usual favorite also not well stocked as well..this was around 11 am..new checkout woman who screamed at me as I was walking out the door that my card did not go through for the entire store to hear , as I was walking back into the store to fix it, she said, oh, it did go through…I , btw,I did get a confirmation on my receipt that it took originally.

Honestly can’t believe I am complaining over something so trivial to life but just after several times, feel that this is absolutely not normal. Been to Fresh Market Annapolis several times and each time had poor experience with their services especially at the meat/seafood section. Had to say just this Fresh Market is different from all my previous experiences. Lack/no diversity of people, seldom see any smile from anyone working there, avoid eye contact with you to offer any help, let you wait for a long time to be serviced without a courtesy to even say “excuse me, just had to do something real quick and be right back with you etc.” Just all of sudden left and disappear for a while knowingly you are waiting in front of their faces right there. Come back with an impatient face with “may I help you?” Like it is your fault. Why are you still there!? Seldom hear a thank you, hello, how are you, do you need help, did you find anything you need today….even when you say “thank you”, don’t expect to get a “pleasure” “you’re welcome” etc…feel like majority of the people hate to work there or something. I can’t speak for others but only with my few times shopping there I personally felt very unwelcome. Probably I don’t belong to the customer type that they want…

Great store. Just wish the produce section had a little more variety. Turmeric, celery root, etc. Prices weren't too high, rotisserie chicken looked good and was reasonably priced. I'll come back for that! The cashier was very kind and professional. Overall, I had. Nice shopping experience 🛒 🍋🍇🍎🍞

Love this store. The manager, Steven, is incredibly nice and helpful. They always have a good selection of fruit, produce, flowers, and meat. My family will keep coming back as long as we live around Annapolis!

Took home the French-cut Lamb Chops and Prime Rib. Fabulous! Freaking fabulous! The pre-coated herbs was the way to go!!! The cooking directions needed a bit of adjustment, but both dishes came out MARVELOUS! THANK YOU, for such great customer service. Happy Easter!

Really lives up to it’s name!!! The fresh market is an awesome grocery store with an exquisite selection. I have found myself tired of eating reheated and frozen meals and when I found The Fresh Market everything changed! Their meat and produce is a great way to start a meal from scratch. They offer everything I need to make myself a good meal. I have been coming back to The Fresh Market for a long time now and they have truly improved my meals!

Very disappointed with my experience at the fresh market in annapolis today. The store was poorly stocked. No little big meals. Sumo mandarins were moldy. Purchased a meatloaf comfort bowl for my husbands dinner and he said it was terrible. He usually loves it. Disappointing

Don't know if this only happens at the Annapolis location but all counter items are put away 2hrs prior to closing. I arrived just before 7pm and all the seafood, meat, and prepared items had been cleared out.

I needed an instacart delivery and never been to the store. I would have assumed they have higher prices than they do. I will definitely shop there or order there all the time! I needed produce for a recipe. All my lemons were soooo much juicier than the lemons I've had before and my parsley was bunchier and my piece ginger was 40 cents and my 1.99 cucumber was bigger than my arm(exaggerating). My instacart shopper found almost everything. I was disappointed about no pita bread or spinach but the giant lemons and other items so happy about. Oh...except for the crab cake. It wasn't spoiled but the crab meat quality taste and seasonings were bad really salty. I cooked it and crisped it up. Looked beatiful. I didn't eat more than a taste. Then my fingers smelled like crabs for too long even after doing dishes and squeezing lemons. I didn't like it.

And I still can't cook.My last experience at this Fresh Food Market location rating was related to the excellent customer services that my family and I always received from a former employee. I just want to update my experience today 7/16/22 with the over and above outstanding experience the Front Manager Corey provided to me. Corey made me feel exactly 💯 appreciated. He was concern about my needs, cared about my business, and showed compassion. All customers should always experience in any establishment appreciation and respect. I love this store for higher quality groceries. It is similar to a Whole Foods or Bristol Farms. Everything is fresh. This is where you go to find those harder to find quality ingredients for a gourmet meal. Yes, everything is more expensive here, so don't expect Safeway prices. Just expect high quality selections of food.

Overall a great food shopping experience. One are for improvement is the deli section. Many of the staff in the last month or so seem very unhappy, irritable, and reluctantly helpful. Not sure if it’s the workload. I regularly approach with a smile and temain friendly and say please and thank you but it doesn’t seem to help. The roasted chicken salad seems very popular but seems to be unavailable regardless of the day or time I arrive. Do they need more staff/support? I feel bad for them.

Best fresh bakery, meat market and produce. Limited selection in center aisles but they contain the best ingredients (healthy and not processed). The Friday dinner specials are great value and please everyone from our 9 year old to the 74 year old.

First time in store after 2 years in Naptown. Called ahead to see if store had fresh herbs in stock. Rather than getting some junior person at the front desk, they routed my call directly to the produce manager who told me, we only have one fresh Tyme left. I rushed over and bought what I needed. I took a few minutes to walk around the store. Great place for high end food and hard to find quality items. Employees all seemed happy to be working there. A very pleasant shopping experience!

I purchased a few prime filets from FM a few weeks ago. Unfortunately these filets were not of the quality standards that I usually get at FM. Somewhat chewy and christly. I paid around $32 for the 2 filets and felt i should let the store manager know these filets were not of the quality they usually have in the store. The manager Scott couldn’t have been more accommodating! He took me back to meet the butcher so i could share with him my situation and offered me a gift card for my inconvenience. Thank you Scott your your excellent customer service. I’ll be back!

This was the first time I had been there. I basically was just browsing. I did find one thing that I did buy. On the whole it's very similar to Whole Foods which is just about three or four blocks away. Parking at Fresh Market was fairly easy. Check out was also easy. Coming from as far away as I do the Whole Foods is a better bet for me. For those local Fresh Market is probably superb. I did see people eating outside at a covered patio that has tables and chairs. Very friendly atmosphere

i have been shopping at our Annapolis Fresh Market since the day it opened. I buy most of my meat here and have experienced only top notch service and care by the butchers. i basically shop the entire store. I love the higher quality unique product lines. So refreshing to NOT have the same old stuff.Shopping at Fresh Market is far more personal and a super pleasant experience. Every line they carry is of better quality than the run-of-the-mill chain stores - which i loathe.Of course it is not as cheap as the chains, and do not expect it to be like the chains. things are a bit slower here, more peaceful and charming. Go for the quality(!) Go for the special products, for for the meat. If all you want is middle of the road cheap stuff do not bother.Fresh Market is better than all the chains put together and just slightly down a notch from Whole Foods. But the small size and intimate feel, and high quality meats, produce and packaged goods cannot be beat. A truly refreshing experience!

Love the fresh food and all the options to grab a quick bite they have some tables out front to sit and enjoy the weather or some food also awesome little coffee bar. Only down side a lot of the items are overpriced. The sushi is made fresh to order and its out of this world...

Fresh Market is a great little grocery store. It has specials on different days of the week that allow you to save on meats, seafood, and prepped meals. Their butchers are phenomenal as are the deli folks. Their fruits and veggies are mostly organic so they cost a bit more. I do not do all of my shopping here, but for deals on meat and seafood, or when I need a prepped meal, this is where I go.
