Excellent experience yesterday at the deli section -- really helpful, efficient and kind staff there -- and at the front -- Julie, my cashier, was extremely helpful and also efficient and kind. While there were a couple of glitches in other areas (sometimes folks forget that it isn't just a place to hang out and talk with friends), the overall experience and food quality was outstanding.

My favorite grocery store. Awesome bakery and deli. Love the cakes. They always have fresh dinners to pick up and take home, too. The meat department has great cuts to take home and grill. Nice fresh veggies and fruits, some locally grown 😋

I ordered a cake for my mother's 90th birthday and they did a beautiful job. It tasted great and looked beautiful. I talked to Irma when I ordered it and I felt as if she was treating this as if it were for her own mother, which made the whole experience really lovely.

A medium sized grocery store that is customer focused. Fresh produce and meat. A little pricey, between walmart and whole foods, but a human checks you out, and paper bags are available. You get what you pay for in this world, and at Graul's even a little bit more.

Dont shop here that often as it is a bit out of the way from where we live. Nice store, it is small and can sometimes get crowded, also a bit dated looking inside,but the staff is nice. Unique selection with many specialty items. Known for having great home made foods, anything from the deli like in store dips and salads are delicious. Their brownies are also very good.

I must say I cannot speak highly enough of the staff. They are wonderful! Andrew, Gail, everyone! They are truly an amazing staff. My problem is not with the staff whatsoever..However, the corporate policy makes it incredibly embarrassing for people between jobs who are using food stamps or WIC.Their policy has shamed me more than once! I am in need of food stamps right now and they disrespect people who are between jobs and in need of food stamps to be used, and certain food items unbeknownst to the customer are not allowed to be purchased with a food stamp card. A customer never knows one way or the other UNTIL they try to pay for their food.Very embarrassing and very disrespectful even though food stamps pay for the foods and any other groceries store like Trader Joe's, Aldi, Safeway, etc!When going to the counter to pay dozens of times this year I have had to pay separately and could not pay with my food or assistance card for-food items.Then, when you reach the line to pay you discover that some food items are not covered! There is no sign or any indicator in the store which identifies which foods are not covered. I never have this problem and any other grocery store. And the staff have to apologize for the bizarre company policy.Again, the staff or some of the politest and most helpful in any business I've ever encountered.The corporate policy which shames customers when trying to pay with EBT card is very embarrassing for such customers. THE STAFF IS AMAZING AND NOT THE PROBLEM.There are no signs indicating what is covered in the food stamp program and what is not, and once you go to the line to pay it becomes an issue... THIS CREATES THE PROBLEM.

Convenient neighborhood family owned and operated market. Carries a wide variety of ethnic food items and that hard to find ingredient in your "recipe of the day". Fresh cut meats are always available. Will trim to order upon request. Minimal prepackaged. Fresh produce. Get local when able both summer and fall/winter seasons. However, sadly, seafood just so-so. Oftentimes, when walking past the seafood counter, the odor is quite unpleasant, as though some dead fish were lying around. Excellent deli section with plenty of in house made meat, pasta, and potato salads. Sandwiches available and can be made to order. Crispy fried chicken and potato wedges for a decent price for that night of the week you need a break from kitchen duty. Lastly, a variety of baked goods to include savory items like bread and bagels and a conglomeration of sweets such as donuts, cakes, cookies, pies, turnovers and such.Overall, a convenient market with a wide variety of fresh produce, meats, deli items, bakery items, ethnic foods, and hard to find ingredients. But you are definitely going to pay top dollar for convenience and variety!!

Small, has more than most stores. Quality is great. I moved away, but still go back for their Deli Turkey, the Caribbean Coleslaw, and good steaks. Produce is always in good shape. Staff is friendly and like a giant family. Shopped there for 5 years, now I have to deal with Food Lion or Safeway. Rough

This is a great market if you're in a rush and need something quick. You'll be in and out. A lot more pricy to do big weekly shopping, but the "oh man I need milk" or bread then it's great. I do get my cold cuts here. Always fresh and delicious. Bakery used to be the best in the area but lately it's gone down in taste, quality and custom design.

Haven’t been here since 2009. My brother and I were in the area to pick up some belongings from our mother. My mother and I are estranged, so my brother dropped me off at Graul’s so I could walk around. Killed about an hour walking the aisles. Prices seemed normal for a small market. It’s got a old school feel that will make some feel nostalgic. Would buy food from here if I lived close.

Great produce, bakery, and deli. They carry items I can't find anywhere else like alfalfa sprouts, decent tiramisu, amazing coleslaw, wife loves their doughnuts and I am addicted to their radio bar dessert. Friendly, helpful, down to earth staff. One of my favorite places to shop.

A decent store only because it's very close to where I live. The prices are too high and the prepared food isn't great. One time I had a roasted turkey breast from here that was too dry to eat. One good thing about this store is that they usually have a good selection of ripe plantains if you are into that. Bottom line, if you don't mind driving to Green Valley, you will save your self some money and the food is generally better.

My parent's local grocer. The staff is always super helpful and friendly. No PITA do it yourself check outs either. While it may not be quite the size of Giant or etc, their motto on their bags is spot on."Better, not bigger."Plus, they were doing an ASPCA fund raiser last spring at the other local location in Annapolis near the stadium. I kicked down $20 for 5 raffle tickets and ended up winning the Maryland basket, a big basket chock full of all sorts of food, all sourced from my home state that they had donated to the cause. This "tiny" 1 lb can of my beloved Old Bay is all that is left of the raffle basket of grub that I won.

Don’t know why I even gave this over priced store a try maybe because I have a home in the area. No costumer service skills at all even the young lady that was training. My credit card wasn’t going through and we tried over 4 times, but instead of her asking me for another form of payment she reach over the counter to grab the bag like I couldn’t pay for it. So embarrassing I will never be back.

Graul's is the best! If they don't carry a product you want/need, they will get it for you. You can also call in your order and they will do the shopping for you and provide you with curb service. Their customer service sets a standard for other grocery stores.

Thank you to Grauls for all of their help catering a recent event. Despite some miscommunication, they stepped up with some amazing service recovery and I would order from them again. My recommendation is to work with them based on your number of guests to make sure that you will have enough food from your order. Shout out to Kathy and Paul for all of their help! I have two friends getting wedding cakes from this location and I know they are excited about the quality of food they will receive.

Great small to mid size market. Well kept, clean, well stocked and we have had very friendly service! One of the few older, smaller grocery stores left. This is a good one!
