I do try to be understanding and patient with every business I walk into, however, this place is quite an embarrassment to be honest. It's halfway between a grocery store and department store, serving as the only place the families who live nearby without a vehicle need to get all of their groceries, unless they can manage the bus which would add costs and another hour to their trip.This was the 2nd or 3rd time of me going inside. Today I wanted one thing a friend suggested I buy from there since their prices are so low. Yes, they are good prices, but the atmosphere is dreadful, products on the floor and in the aisles, just a simple mess all over the store. Dark lighting to add special ambience.I could have given all of the above issues a pass, but then going to pay for my item I notice a long line waiting to pay for their things. There was only one self-checkout open and one checkout register open with an employee, but he said he only takes CASH? That is very odd.There were three groups in front of me and it was going to take too long, so I put my item back and walked out. I'd rather pay 40% more than deal with that again.

Absolutely terrible customer service as usual at this location. Employee at the register on cell phone did not acknowledge me or did not say hello or thank you when I left the store. Will never ever come to this location ever again.

They watch you if you are black. The white guy with the fake security vest came in to watch me and my mother use self checkout. Immediately he walked away when we were done. This is hands down the dirtiest of dollar stores overall so the audacity is insane. Work on not pushing paying customers away because you think they are stealing Easter decorations.

Great place. The lady I interacted with was very kind, pleasant change from other dollar generals Ive been to. I think her name was Tera? Hope that is correct so she can receive the credit she deserves. Definitely will return.

We had skateboards so one of the employees stared us down and then said stop messing around and doing Tom foolery but we weren’t, we were there just to buy stuff for our dogs. He said he was suspicious because he satares us down so we stared at him back. really disappointed with my experience if I could rate it a zero I would. people like this should be fired on the spot. do not recommend. stores a mess.

The new manager is too pedantic, she doesn't have a bit of kindness, every time she says something she yells loudly. My favorite store but now my daughters are even scared to pay with that woman 🤮

If I could give 0 stars I would The woman taller woman(claims to be a manager) is absolutely the rudest person I've ever met she treats not only the customers horribly but her employees as well she degrades then in front of customers and she is very rude to customers has 0 customer service I came in today came up to the register and because she was putting stock away she came up slammed her hand on the counter and said loud "What do you need" I was completely taken back I told her that she was rude and completely unexceptable as a manager she looked at me winked at me and said ''ok'' I use this store alot but I won't be back until something is done with this "manager"

This store has been on average the store has been a total dump. unlikely because it is a fairly new store next to a shiny polished Tuesday morning. I contacted the regional office and it seems to have been noticeably improved. I hope it stays that way because it didn't last time when I complained several months ago. Regional needs to follow up and keep a close eye on this store.

Every time I go in there they look like they are having a closeout sale. Lol! Stacks of stuff in the aisles and shelves have stocked. Gotta push your cart through an obstacle course. 😳 But the employees are always very helpful and nice. And needless to say, the prices are great. So I'll definitely go again. Just work on tidying up y'all!

The regular staff is so friendly and work to keep the stock tidy even though it is a busy store. Some of the ladies feel like friends and ot is nice to see familiar faces Great place to get cute decor and garden items and basic groceries. Some of their toiletry and cleaning store brands are my regular choice over name brands! Wish they would promote from within because the managers speak bossy to staff when they come in when that crew is running the store when they are not around.

Same as always. Lots of stuff for $1. The line here seems to go from no one to being halfway down the store from minute to minute. I love that they can still carry most of same products for a dollar after so long. The employees never seem to be very happy but not in a rude way; more of an an I hate my job way but it works. I go here all the time.If you decide you don't want something bring it up front instead of leaving it somewhere random if you're not going to put it back.

Buyer Beware.This store does NOT honor their own sales. I have had this happen three times now where an item is supposedly buy a certain number and get a deal and when I am at checkout the computer doesn't register the sale. The cashier every time refuses to believe me and tries to not give me the deal only after standing my ground does she actual go and check the sale tag. Then after looking they begrudgingly agree to give me the right price.I stopped going after the third time but today my wife shopped here and when I looked at the receipt once again they did not honor their own sale and she was overcharged.

Very trashie, manger was not nice. Try to return something and use the bathroom and the manger use negtive words and was very rude. Also the sales representative said I could use the bathroom but manger said no and and use foul language and just generally a trashy site. Normally Dollar generals are very good and I have one near my house very disappointed.

This store is a wreck. Things thrown any & everywhere. The poor lady was on cash register by herself with a decent amount of customers in the store. I felt so bad for her & she dealt with the rudest people with professionalism, even though they were nasty & made snark comments. It must be an epidemic with most of the Dollar general stores in Maryland because everytime I go in one it's long lines, one person on cash register but like 2-3 people stocking shelves. It's ridiculous.

Never in my life have I've seen such a mess corporate has to be aware I go there for convenience and always leave SMH I can not understand how in 9 visit the product is still not on shelf store is dirty product out of date empty shelves and the list goes on this is not the store mgr fault this is corporate they are losing so much money it's sad they need security and need to add more labor hrs until the store is up to par ...you can take 1% of labor hrs from other stores u can also make those who work there be more responsible like check dates and pull product to front shelves and do a time out sheet for product give them owner ship it's not that hard I can say I would spend 65$ a month but after today will not be going back.

I like this store because of it's prices and that it closer to me than the one out Parole. However the price are more expensive and the store is disorganized and there are NEVER enough cashiers to wait on you which is so disappointing because when you are looking to get in and out of a store and the lines are backed up with nine and ten people in it that can make a person change their mind about coming in to the chaos to begin with.......

This used to be a fantastic store... I have given up on stopping by to pick up common cleaning and hygiene supplies, nothing is ever in stock, or stocked, toothpaste, lotion, etc. There are boxes blocking the aisles, extremely long lines, under staffed... Too bad, it was great when they opened, but has gone steadily down over the past year and has hit rock bottom.

When this store opened I had high Hope's of a place to pick up some bargains. I have shopped DG in other locations. The store has declined into a sorry state. The aisles are always filled with merchandise to be unpacked. The shelves are in total disarray and there is merchandise strewn all over the floors. Wonder if Dollar General corporate knows of this mess.

While I can not attest to the quality of the merchandise nor the staff at other Dollar General stores,my local Dollar General store at 123 Hillsmere Drive, Annapolis MD located directly across from Quiet Waters Park is a clean,well stocked store with a very friendly and helpful staff.

This is a nice, big dollar store. Has food, frozen items, pet food, clothing, cleaning products, cosmetics, bread, milk, toys. Some things are more than 1 dollar, but cheap, still. Have weekly specials that often beat the local grocery store.

When you visit, you are treated like you're a part of the community, and given personal treatment you usually don't see in retail stores. Always friendly and helpful.
