This was my first “real tattoo” (detailed, custom to me, etc.) and all I can say is WOW!! Chris knocked it out of the park with this one. Not just by giving me a beautiful memory of my heart dog, but also by making the whole process from start to finish such a comforting, exciting, and engaging experience. When we weren’t talking, I was absolutely mesmerized seeing the whole piece come together. A truly memorable experience!The work he did is phenomenal! I really wouldn’t change a single thing about it. Besides Chris, everyone was very nice and welcoming as well! I’m already looking forward to getting more work done at Dapper Dog in the future!

My pup passed this year and I wanted to memorialize him. I came across the Dapper Dog Tattoo serendipitously, read about the owner Charlie, saw the amazing dog art and knew this was the place for my first (and future) tattoo(s). Charlie's shop is friendly, welcoming, clean, and has very talented artists who clearly care about their work and making clients feel comfortable and happy. Charlie walked me through the process, then we had a great conversation while he worked his magic. I am not sure if this is common, but I didn't feel any pain, didn't bleed and didn't even get red (it's day two and the same is true!). He had a light touch and incorporated amazing detail from a picture of my pup's ink paw print. I LOVE it and am already getting lots of compliments. I highly recommend Dapper Dog Tattoo and Charlie! Thank you for helping me honor my best friend!

Came and got walk-in tattoos with my girlfriend and our friend this Sunday. Everyone was super friendly and warm, and it was a great first tattoo experience for all 3 of us. Mitch was awesome at making sure our designs were exactly what we wanted :) Can’t wait to go back for the next one <3

We were super stoked to happen upon Dapper Dog and Mitch as walk-ins while on our lil birthday weekend in Annapolis. We were able to each get a little tattoo that meant a lot to us, and will also help us to remember this year and bday. I am over the moon with my tattoo that Josh gave me. This was an excellent experience and I cannot wait to go back! Great customer service, great artists and great artwork! Felt so much at home with everyone there! The Josh and the staff made sure that we were well taken care of. My 4 siblings and my mom all got the same tattoo and after every person Josh made sure his entire work area was clean and ready to go for the next person. We got a tattoo of my dad’s last heart beat and I will forever cherish it! Josh’s line work is excellent. I will recommend Dapper Dog to anyone that wants a tattoo. I popped into Dapper Dog to see if they had any walk-in availability and was treated to a great experience with Huntress who couldn’t have been sweeter or more insanely talented. I had Ari star. She was awesome. Got my first tattoo with her. I’m still in shock I actually got one. She was so sweet and very comforting. She did a beautiful job of recreating my handwriting. Dapper dog shop is so cute too. They are awesome decor. It’s very small but cozy.

Top notch staff here at Dapper Dog. Everyone is friendly and personable. Service is impeccable and they make you feel right at home. Totally excited to finally sit for the owner, Charlie, who is hands down a great guy and artist. He revels in perfection and always there to answer questions from others. Very informative along every step in the process. Also all of their artists are very kind and welcoming during the 6 hours I was on the table. Clear aftercare instructions and very responsive to questions after the tattoo was finished. Chris also did a great job with my tattoo and asked tons of questions to really get me where I wanted with the design.

Dapper Dog has the vibe of a place you'd like to hang out as the staff were friendly, knowledgable, and made you feel welcome. The parlor is comfortable with quirky details that give it a distinct character, while the organized stations, clean areas, and variety of equipment/lighting show it's a trusted, professional tattoo business. Charlie Garrett is the owner and the artist I was lucky enough to have work on my designs. He has a great attention to detail, creative artistic approach, and collaborative process ensuring the result is going to be what you imagined. If you are looking for a place to explore your first body art, experienced artists to build on an existing ink, or imaginative designers to help make your tattoo vision a striking reality - I can't recommend Dapper Dog Tattoo more.

Dapper Dog Tattoo is a top notch shop and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending them for work. I live in Seattle and it was worth the cross country trip to have Charlie (shop owner) do my leg sleeve (he previously did an arm sleeve).I certainly LOVE the work of Charlie (hence my return visit) and I was also impressed with the other artists who I observed at Dapper Dog. The shop is clean, professional and welcoming. Plus I appreciated the steps taken to lessen any sting one might experience when getting a tattoo and the clear instruction provided for the aftercare. From start to finish the experience was fantastic. I recommend Dapper Dog (specifically Charlie) for your first tattoo or your twentieth tattoo. Top notch!

Seriously the nicest people I've ever encountered working with a tattoo shop. Extremely welcoming and helpful. I am working with Chris who has been wonderful through the entire process. Open to suggestions and collaboration, and extremely talented and creative. Kindness is something that can't be taught, and everyone here seems to naturally possess it. Makes the process a thousand times better. I will add pics once everything is done, but I'm grateful to have found this place and Chris. It has been an amazing experience so far.

I've been working with Charlie at Dapper Dog on a 1/2 sleeve for the past few months.Let's face it, the pain of getting a tattoo can suck, but the fun I have when I'm working with Charlie actually makes me look forward to each session. Charlie is patient, listens effectively and produces beautiful art in his tattoo work. I cannot recommend him highly enough.Dapper Dog tattoo is just a great shop.
