We recently had Chesapeake Painting Services paint our kitchen cabinets and create two glass cabinet doors. The scheduling, sanding, prepping, painting, and reinstall of doors and drawer faces took a total of 3 weeks and the results are fabulous! The team in our home was pleasant, very little disruption, and cleaned up prior to departure each day. Highly recommend!

The customer service here is INSANE! Josh and team did just a phenomenal job. They really do care about the customer from the beginning of the process all the way through to the very end. We painted our entire house indoor walls (~4,600 sq. ft), our kitchen cabinets, a wall cabinet, exterior shutters and then Chesapeake built us a shiplap wall and painted it in our master bedroom. Their employees were always on time and cleaned up after themselves each day and were very careful with our furniture. We LOVED the end result and were happy that they guided us through the process seamlessly as it can be quite stressful to paint an entire home! We are SO happy and received so many compliments after. If you're looking for a kitchen "remodel" without expensive new cabinetry then paint does wonders and can truly transform the space for a much lower cost. And they did such a good job that it should last a very long time! Would highly recommend!

From the quick and accurate estimate from Georgia to the excellent communication from Josh, the process of getting our cabinets painted was a joy. The young man who did the job was meticulous, courteous and SO detail oriented. Can’t wait to install our new backsplash and counters to make the paint really pop. We will definitely be hiring them again once we figure out what colors we want to paint our new home!

In April, 2023, we hired Chesapeake Painting Services did an absolutely beautiful job to paint our large family room, kitchen, dining area, two-story foyer, hallway and master bedroom with loft. They did an absolutely beautiful job!! We also had them paint our kitchen cabinets which were in dire need and was much less expensive than replacing them! In every aspect, their employees' workmanship, professionalism and attention to detail are outstanding. We were so very pleased with the finished product. Ms. Rinaldi, Chesapeake's executive administrator, kept us informed of any issues that needed to be addressed in order for the project to progress smoothly...which it did! From 2017 to 2022 I've used Chesapeake for all my interior painting. As I remodeled parts of the house I would hire them to come in and paint. They are not the cheapest - but they are value beyond their cost. My house was built in 1987 - the first thing their crew does is base wall repair (flattening nail pocks, seams, dips, etc.). Good painting starts with good prep. When done with that, their painting is smooth (no drips, streaks, or roller tracks). Their trim work is really unsurpassed! I hate lazy trim lines and spillover. My house looks brand new. I would never use anyone else and honestly wish I could transport these folks to my next state as I move. They came in last for the paint touchup prior to listing. It was really hard to match and we ended up having to "wall to wall" a couple rooms but they flexed their schedule and made it work in time for photos! They have always been responsive and never complain about coming back for something I found amiss (rare). I'm going to miss James and Josh and the rest of their awesome crew. Sergio was phenomenal: on time, professional, kind, extremely efficient juggling multiple projects within one day, and so patient with our questions and providing advice. He even took the time to do some additional touch up painting in nearby spots outside the scope of our project, which was SO appreciated. They had a quick turn around from the estimate day to the scheduled project day, and they completed all work in less time than even estimated. Would absolutely work with them again!

Their motto, Gentlemen Painters, is an appropriate motto. But their excellent service, professionalism, quality, and value extends to their entire staff. The color designer who came to our home was a considerable asset to helping us narrow down our decisions. The schedulers were responsive, friendly, and professional. The estimator was very professional and made us feel confident with our decision to go with the company. The painters were amazing. They were attentive to detail and took pride in their work. They were responsive and didn't say done until it was done. We didn't feel like our job was rushed so they could get to another job. We felt that we were a priority, and our satisfaction was important. The project manager came out several times to survey the job and you could tell there was an excellent work environment. We heard that on Fridays, the team is treated to an end-of-the-week bbq back at their headquarters. They're a business that values their customers and their employees. We really can't say enough about them.

This is the second time we've used Chesapeake and they have done a superb job for us in both instances. One of the criteria I use to judge painting companies is whether all of the painters on the job are excellent at their craft. So many companies will send one good painter on a crew with the others being anywhere from mediocre to poor. Every member of the Chesapeake crews on our jobs has been skilled and competent. Also well trained in customer interaction and making certain the job is done consistent with customer specifications. Add to that the highly professional way the company is managed and responsiveness and it all translates to a very positive experience. Chesapeake is not the cheapest, but considering the responsiveness and professionalism of the company and the quality of their work they provide great value. Two jobs now with no corrections or call backs. We are very satisfied.
