I wish all companies were this professional. From the moment I called until the work was finished I couldn't have been happier. Ethan Payne was the gentleman that completed the work at my house. He was very professional, respectful of my property, and showed me everything he was doing to do before starting and once the work was completed. He made sure I was 100% satisfied. I had an emergency that required full rewiring of my home. Derrick and his apprentice Terry were very patient, professional and thorough the entire 3 days until the project was completed. Chesapeake did an incredible job on a few tasks around my house. They definitely aren't the cheapest option around, and I was a little surprised initially by the estimate, but it was totally worth it. You absolutely get what you pay for, as the team that came out was professional and did a great job. If you're willing to pay for excellent work, I'd highly recommend Chesapeake Electric.

My Electrician was Russel and my goodness he was good. He explained everything he was doing and walked me through each step. He was very pleasant and friendly and got the work done quickly. I can see why Chesapeake electric has such high reviews with their workers and services like that. Will be using their services again in the future for sure.

I am extremely pleased with the exceptional work that Ian from Chesapeake electric completed for us. He was knowledgeable, personable , thorough and excellent in all areas. He discussed various options and answered all our questions and made suggestions for saftey enhancements and we are totally pleased with everything! I have absolutely no complaints at all.. We definitely will use this company again and can hopefully get Ian back as well as we have a few other projects to complete. And he installed everything perfectly!! I highly recommend this company and Ian!He went above and beyond..± even working outside in the rain to complete everything on schedule!..

Very pleasant gentleman called to let me know he was on his way. He put on booties before entering my home to keep mud off my carpets since it was a very rainy day. Gave me an estimate not only for the work requested, but for elements of a safety check. In addition to recessed lights in my living room, I needed an adjustment to my fuse box. He showed me what recessed lights he had and explained them both. He confirmed with me where the lights were to be ì before he cut the holes. He took care to protect my furniture with plastic drapes. The lights looked beautiful when he was finished. He explained how to work the lights. He went over all the work he did when he was finished. He was very professional. The company appears to have gone paperless, so an estimate is prepared on a tablet, which can be hard on the eyes. Otherwise, I would have given the experience 5 stars.

Only because I cannot give zero stars. Sharon was great. Charged $872.00 for nothing. Pricing was not clear and deceptive I feel by design. BGE was the first and only call. I see why people do NOT call companies and deal with one off service providers. I will NEVER call them again. THIS experience was a failure from a local business. Do not use Chesapeake Electric. I don’t do this normally but this was horrible.

I was very happy with how quickly I was able to schedule an appointment. Our assigned electrician, Ethan Payne, showed up when he was scheduled, was friendly and knowledgeable, and finished the work in a few hours. He explained to me the options we had to address the issue, and I will definitely call Chesapeake Electric for our electrician needs in the future.

Logan and Tray installed an EV charger at my home. They did a fantastic job. Their level of customer service is some of the best I’ve ever experienced. They were thorough and experts at what they do. You know electrical issues always happen at the most inconvenient times. We were expecting company early evening. Went downstairs and to my surprise there was no power. When I call, not only was the person friendly and accommodating, but knowledgeable and helpful. Please know…. I tell you that I almost fell over when I was told someone could be here within the hour. Just when I thought it couldn’t get better, it did. Mike Greene was my electrician and he was beyond amazing. The customer service was second to none. He was able to troubleshoot and was able to explain everything so I was able to understand. I highly recommend to any and everyone.

Logan (electrician) and his techs Terry, Kevin and Alex were the absolute best. Thorough, quality focused, and answered all our many questions. My husband is disabled and they regularly asked if it was ok to shut off a particular breaker, or where to place their equipment. And VERY thoughtful about not tracking leaves and debris into the house. They all put coverings on their shoes before coming in. First Class Plumbing referred me to Chesapeake Electric as excellent and I can’t wait to pass on my referral for Chesapeake Electric to neighbors and friends. They were outstanding. We are super happy with the work done by Ian and team at Chesapeake Electric. Our condo had no ceiling lights and was very dark, so we had Chesapeake wire and install lights in our living space and bedroom. They also installed a chandelier, some new bathroom fans, and a ceiling fan in the office. Everyone was super professional, on time, and they cleaned up really thoroughly after they were finished. They also did their best to mitigate drywall damage, which I appreciate. We are very, very happy with the results, and we have so much more light! Ethan was a fantastic professional who arrived, took the time to listen and understand the issues we had and came up with a solid plan to repair the issues. He provided us with accurate estimates and, upon obtaining our approval to move forward, commenced correcting all our issues. Mike was great! Very friendly and personable. He came and diagnosed a complex electrical issue we were having with multiple rooms and outlets without power. He gave us a complimentary safety inspection and made some great recommendations to help ensure our home was up to code. He found some other wiring issues while making our repairs and ensured he cut out and replaced the damaged wiring. We will be reaching out again for future services to update our smoke detectors and install recessed lighting.

I hired Chesapeake Electric to convert 7 recessed lights to LED and hang a new light fixture. Kevin was my technician. Someone else was with him but I’m sorry I don’t remember his name. Both were very well spoken, friendly and knowledgeable. Kevin explained the work that would be done and helped me decide on the color temperature and brightness of the LED lights. I was a little indecisive but Kevin was patient with me. Kevin did an inspection of my home and found that the service panel outside was badly damaged. He recommended that it be replaced and explained why. He came back the next day and repaired it and swapped out two breakers. Overall, I was very pleased with the work that was done. I especially appreciated Kevin’s willingness to take the time to explain the work so that I could understand what would be done. I will definitely use this company again.

My husband and I had just moved to our new home and there were a few things that needed to be installed and just checked up make sure everything was safe and running smoothly. A bunch of electrical things that we needed kept popping up last mi the but Russell and Trey came out and took care of us! They were on time, safe, fast and efficient with their work. We now have our beautiful new light fixtures, outdoor lights, new outlet put in and soon we will have them back out for a few other things we plan to get done.We couldn’t be happier with their work! Service was great. Ian is a machine—motivated, personable, and focused. We have an older house with an equally old hodge hodge of electrical surprises made worse by some yard excavating gone wrong. Everything looks great and he certainly put in the time to get us back up and running. The work Ian from Chesapeake Electric did today was top notch. He was super professional, kind, and well versed in his expertise. He identified some issues that were outside his wheelhouse too that is super good to know so we can get those things fixed. Our new exhaust fan is awesome, and the work done was top notch. On top of that, Ian did an excellent job cleaning up after his work. That should be standard but I haven't found it so and I'm so happy to be treated like we mattered and the work needed to be held to the highest standard.Services: Fan installation, Installation, Fan repair
