The groomer did a great job on my 28lb bernedoodle. I spent hours trying to cut him myself, but he squirmed too much and was bad. Within 2 hours of dropping my dog off he was clean, with nails and hair trimmed exactly as I described. Totally worth every penny.

I search for over a year. To find the right dog for my son. One day, we got blessed. I came home from work and pick my son up. We were able to find and bond with this cutie. The staff stated that she was around twelve years of age. Therefore she did not need a lot of shots. We was approved,and took her home. To a lovely family.

This place is so great! My dog has been going here for a while and he can be difficult to handle especially with his face but Kam has always been very patient and wonderful with him. As a college student it can be hard to manage my dogs fur but I know that when I go here he gets the best care!

Terrible service. My dog was dropped off for a basic grooming. The groomer had no idea what to do, his words out of his mouth when I said just trim him up. He was there for 3 hours and I was called and told they would not be able to finish the grooming but I could pick him up. I was panicked and asked was everything okay? The person who called stated I would have to talk to the groomer. My heart dropped not knowing what was going on with my pup. When I got there the woman who washed him was nice and said how he was so sweet etc. The groomer brought me my dog and told me he was anxious so they couldn’t groom him. They told me it would be $40 for the wash. I literally took my dog there and was charged for a service that was not what I brought him in for. It was so unprofessional and they were completely careless to any of my concerns. When you ask to speak to a manager it’s literally just one of them. The owners don’t care enough about their business to respond to customer concerns. I tried to reach out to the owner numerous times but he nor his wife ever respond. My dogs nail was split open when we left that day which ended up costing another $120 with the vet. Overall it’s not good service and I truly wonder where and what was happening to my 12 lb dog for him to be there for 3 hours for a bath?! I will not bring my dogs back here for any services.

Very friendly place. They take great care of my doggie. Have a variety of shampoos they can use that is gentle on her skin. A nail trim with every wash and a bandana too boot. Here is my happy pooch post pampering.

I took my dog to his scheduled appointment and have been getting his grooming service at bark n bean now for a little over a year. In the last few grooming appointments I have had nothing but short of a close call with the veterinarian. The first visit that began this awful experience; my dog was shaved so close in his under coat area that he was cut and experienced a bad rash that lead to an infection which lead to us taking our dog to the veterinarian ($$$) caused by bark n bean. The second visit and our now final visit with bark n bean; we took our dog to be groomed and again he was shaved too close in which the groomer cut our dog in several places. The groomer must have attempted to trim our dogs nails but did not complete smoothing the nails. Instead, our dog was returned to us with chain saw like edged nails. Lastly, they removed our dogs collar while grooming him (to be expected). When we returned home we realized the collar was not placed back on our dog. We went back to bark n bean to retrieve our dogs collar and they could not locate it. The new dog collar in addition to new name tags ($$$) as a direct result of bark n beans poor customer service. I would highly recommend rethinking taking your pet to bark n bean.

The people who work at Bark n Bean are great and it’s what will keep me coming back. There is room for this business to do better but over they’re not deal breakers. 1) i had challenges getting someone on the phone to schedule so i went in person to schedule and was taken care of immediately. 2) the grooming my dog received was okay, i left in a rush and didn’t provide them this feedback. Next time, I’d ask for the sanitary trim to cut back a bit more. Also, the coffee cafe isn’t open yet, it’s just a dog grooming salon. I love the concept and look forward to having a cup of coffee here in the future.

The prices and staff at Bark N Bean is unbeatable! Amber does phenomenal with our timid St. Bernard/Mastiff mix. She handles his size and personality so well. We refuse to go anywhere else. If you have an XXL breed, GO SEE AMBER. Our dog despises having his feet touched yet somehow Amber not only clips his nails but also cuts the fur between his toes. She’s magical.

My Maltese has had a bad experience with a different groomer in the past but now he loves going. I have an almost 13 year old dog, and when he was about 5, a dog groomer snipped him in several sensitive areas, it drew blood and he was bruised on the upper neck/mussel from her grabbing him too hard. Ever since then he was always afraid and his anxiety can make him difficult to groom. Gladys is amazing with my dog and he always looks so cute. I was nervous trying to find a place when I moved to the area, but I feel so lucky to have found Bark n Bean. My dog used to whine and bark on the way to the groomers, now he is happy. Gladys is a rock star and is so good with him. Thank you, Gladys!

We've been using Bark N Bean for 2 years now for our 72lb German Shepherd. Never have we had a problem. This is the best place to take your dog! Our dog has special needs and takes medicine for her terrible anxiety. Bark N Bean takes such good special care of her. They recognize her when she comes in and even remembers her name! The prices are reasonable and the staff is ALWAYS accommodating, professional and friendly. We are moving away soon to Gambrills, but will always make the trip back to Bark N Bean for our pet grooming needs.

NOT FOR PUPPIES!! I will NEVER go back there again. We wanted to make sure that we found a good groomer for our puppy since it was her first grooming and we read all of the good reviews for Bark 'N' Bean. HUGE MISTAKE! The groomer (I think Tyrone was his name) said that they would take very good care of her to ensure that she had a "positive first experience." It was supposed to be a quick trim. I waited there for two hours before I saw the groomer come back with a different dog. I asked the receptionist how long it usually takes for a quick trim and she comes back with her manager that tells me that Tyrone has been backed up until the morning. She said my puppy might be back there for another 1 to 2 hours. I told them to give me back my dog and the manager tells me that they washed our 3 month old puppy and put her in a crate to "air dry." They gave her back to me wet and shivering and then had the audacity to charge me $20 for her wash. So, to recap, a "positive experience" at Bark 'N" Bean, they will wash your pet, put them in a crate to air dry, before taking hours to finish grooming someone else's dog. Do yourself and your furry friend a favor and just skip this place entirely.

Update: I still stand by everything I've said in my previous review. However, knocked off a star because B&B is extremely difficult to get in touch with. We have unfortunately had to find a backup groomer and haven't been able to get an appointment for a while now. Happy for them that they are booked and busy, but I can never get through on the phone to schedule an appointment. I'm hoping that they make improvements on their appointment scheduling methods. Perhaps they could do what hair salon's do and get a website portal?I've been taking my dog (25lb goldendoodle) to Bark N Bean for over a year now and use Stephanie. I've never had a better experience with a groomer. Prior to switching we went to Petsmart for grooms and my dog would be there for 4+ hours as they work on multiple dogs at once. My dog hated being groomed at our old place because it was just waaaay too long of a process and he gets antsy. Bark N Bean grooms 1 dog at a time so when I drop my dog off with Stephanie she always says "it'll be about an hour an a half" and literally 1 hour later I'll get a text saying he'd be ready in 15 minutes. He always looks, feels and smells amazing. He's never had any cuts or issues and from what Stephanie has told me, he behaves well for her during the grooming so that tells me that she really knows what she's doing and makes the dogs feel calm and comfortable. I just love how quick and efficient they are. I'm thankful I've found a place I can trust. I make the 40 minute drive just to come here and it's well worth it! Tip: Book your next appointment when you check out as they fill up fast!

Wish I got the chance to actually have my dog groomed here but unfortunately I never got to that point. Excited to have her come here after I heard great things, but gave up after calling for the third time and being told someone (other than the person who answered the phone) would call me back to schedule an appointment which never happened.Why have people answer phones if they themselves cannot schedule an appointment? Then comes up with excuses as to why the call hasn’t been returned. If as a business, potential customers cannot schedule an appointment, then maybe it shouldn’t be listed on the site that they are taking new clients.

Update: The prices have increased a little. Full groom w/ oatmeal shampoo for a small breed including nails and anal gland $70. Still cheaper than Pet Smart. It would have been nice to be notified of the change in pricing when I made my appointment. I've been bringing my dog here for over 5 yrs.Everyone there is friendly and are really good with the dogs. Their prices are very reasonable. My little guy usually see's Melissa and I've never been let down

Worst experience ever. Seeing all the good reviews, I thought to bring my dog here for grooming. I was told my dog was INFESTED with fleas and that the fleas had even “bite” the rude lady who confronted me about it. She said, “Your dog is infested with fleas and that you’d need to take him to the vet and put him under anesthesia”, she added by saying that she had never seen such before and that she’d have to “burn” her clothes now. In most utter disbelief, I paniced and took my dog who was soaking wet, to the vet to find out that he had dry skin and the little flakes were dry skin cells. For a professional dog groomer, I think it is very important for the people handling our precious babies to know the difference between fleas and dry skin. Not sure if it was the stupidity of the rude lady who runs the place or just being very unaware of dogs and their bodies. Unless you’d like to trust uneducated folks with the responsibility and care of your loved dogs, DO NOT ever go to this place. Will ruin your day like it did mine. Also, the $40 that I had to pay for my scared, soaking wet, and terrified dog, a total scam. My vet laughed and advised I rather just wash my dog at home than be fooled.

We brought our springer spaniel to Bark ‘N’ Bean for the first time. Amber did an absolutely amazing job with our dog’s cut and understood how to fade her coat and keep the feathering long. We have seen a handful of groomers and she was among the best we’ve had. Our dog went in nervous and came out wagging with cute bows in her hair.

I have owned dogs my whole life but this is the first dog that I actually need to have groomed. I had taken him a few other places but after my first appointment with Bark N Bean we won't go anywhere else. I love that they do his grooming start to finish without leaving him in a cage for hours while they work on other dogs. They are also kind enough not to judge me when he comes in a little matted because we went to the dog beach and I didn't brush him out good enough after. Always friendly and the coffee is great too!

Great place for dog bath and conveniently located next to Quiet Waters Park. Prices and selection of services are really good. They did a great job with our foster dog and were very quick. We will be going back in the future.FYI - towel dry means your dog will be damp but not soaking wet.

I scheduled an appointment 3 weeks ago. My dog was a new client. My dog has a medical situation and he can not be vaccinated due to his disease. They were about to take him and then asked if he was vaccinated. When I said no he was denied. They won’t take a vet letter or accept a titer test.I’m upset that they wouldn’t take him, but more upset that they didn’t ask this about a new client 3 weeks ago. Now I’m searching for a groomer because his old groomer no longer works where he used to be groomed since a puppy.Additionally, my dog is blind due to his condition and I expressed that over the phone. When the groomer asked me questions, no one informed her of this.Your company needs to first ask important questions like vaccinations when a new client is getting services. Also, communicate better with your groomers. Lastly support dogs with disabilities. Shame on you for denying!!!
