I can’t say enough about the professionalism and courtesy I’ve received from the leasing office. Mrs.Richardson takes great pride in the community, the members and her career. She goes above and beyond for the residents and is extremely helpful and pleasant. This has been by far the best experience I’ve had with becoming a new resident.

Very friendly staff that listens, takes the time to care, and makes you feel like family! Jasimon truly gets to know her residents and is SO much more than a leasing manager. She goes above and beyond to quickly respond to all requests and needs without delay. Her follow-up is thoughtful and thorough. This is my second apartment home with RAJ and I couldn’t think to live anywhere else. The amenities are amazing and kept clean and restocked. If you are looking for a nice quiet place to live that is close enough but far enough away, then come on home.

As someone that has moved many times, this place has provided the most peace of mind and was hands-down the easiest PCS I’ve ever experienced. Everyone in the leasing office is wonderful, but Jasimon stands out the most; she is just so personable and even took the time to check in with us several times to make sure we were all set before our big move to MD. I really appreciated the move-in app they use - very practical and efficient. The apartments themselves are nice and have all the amenities that we needed and wanted. And despite this place having so many residents, maintenance is so kind and quick to correct any issues. I wish places like this weren’t so hard to find in other states.

DOG OWNERS BEWARE! The only reason this place gets one star is because of Jay, the kindest person to work at the leasing office. I’m surprised more people aren’t reviewing the poop fest that is occurring at The Residences at Annapolis Junction. You cannot step even a few feet while walking your dog without seeing dog feces all over the grass. I’ve complained several times throughout a couple years and no action was implemented from the leasing office except an “I’m sorry.” At minimum, my dog and I step in dog feces once a week. Apparently, this leasing office has never heard of zoonotic diseases. This is a health hazard just waiting to happen. If you’re a pet owner, please be weary of living here as your chances of going to poop fest will be high.

I have lived here 9 months now, it was off to a bumpy start being an new community but my over all summary is I really enjoy it here now (10/2/18). Below is my full review thus far and I will provide regular updates as needed to share my experience. (An "*” indicates further explanation below)Pros-location to the highway, 12-18 minutes to pretty much anything you need i.e. shopping centers, target and food-In addition you are about 30 min from Baltimore and DC outside of rush hour-Covered garage parking! No shoveling snow or running from the rain-The amenities are really nice. $50 to reserve space is of the least expensive I have seen and GREAT value for the price-24 hour business center w/ printing-The choice between Comcast and Verizon-The new* staff is both polite and informative; if they don’t have the answer they will do their best to find it (Special Thanks to Jasimon! She is ALWAYS SO helpful), and the managers have an open door policy to discuss any concerns residents may have.-Regular community events give you the opportunity to meet your neighbors-Walking distance to the Marc train which gives you easy access to DC or Baltimore (not on weekends)-Dog Friendly*-Indoor Bike storage at no cost-Dog Spa with blow dryer and tubs for both large and small dogs included-No Garbage/recycle fee-Free coffee-Free gift wrapping stationCons-The dog "park" is small, See photos-The Marc train is not the only *Train* that uses the tracks so sometimes you may hear and sometimes feel the freight trains that go back and forth.-There is only ONE dog clean up station in the “designated dog area”.-When using the garage be prepared to stick your arm out the window hopping you are close enough to stick you key in for access. (I really believe that for the price the garage door should open for residents automatically via remote)-There is no 100% *control* of your heating and AC even though you are responsible for the bill.-Because of the change in management *new rules* are being periodically implemented in the best interest of the residents-The old staff was very misleading even though we had already decided that this was where we wanted to live. This brings me to my first set of stars. Many residence were misled, I believe this may have contributed to the hiring of a completely new staff after being open for less than a year to the date of this review.-Dog Friendly* We asked to live in an apartment on the ground floor close to the exit for our Dogs, we were told that there would be doggy stations around the property. After living here for 9 months that is not the case (I have been told they are currently on the works 10/2). Dogs are encouraged to use the bathroom in the dog area (Almost literally the farthest point from where we live). This would have been fine had we known in the beginning and we would have picked an apartment close to the “designated area-Train* the old staff told us that the apartment windows were sound proof and that we would not hear the train. That’s false as you will sometimes hear the train a few times a day.-Temperature control * We discussed this with the individual we met for our tour and we were told that we able to control our temperature and in fact we would be able to change out the thermostat. That turned out not to be the case, You can only turn the thermostat up and down and there is no option to control the actual temperature.-Other Promises* We were told that we would have apartments set aside that could be used as hotels for friends and family for $75 a night, once we signed our lease that option was no longer available.-Rental of community space can only be rented during non-business (typical of most apartment communities)

Absolutely a great place to rent, it's safe, clean, well maintained, with great amenities and location. The renters app allows for quick access to maintenance, and the front desk that are always eager to help the tenants. Living on the top floor has been amazing 🤩.

I absolutely love living here at The Residences at Annapolis Junction. I’ve been here for a 1 year now and it’s the best decision I could’ve ever made.The amenities here at RAJ are top tier.I love the option of being able to use the gym and the business center 24/7 a day.The community room is vibrant and overlooks the pool area.We also have a covered garage - which is a plus because no one wants to deal with inclement weather.RAJ Staff & Management: Danielle, Jasimon, Christopher, Kristie are truly amazing. Always willing to help and do it so graciously. Thank you for your commitment to keep this place safe and clean every single day! They treat residents like we are all one big family!Definitely recommend the Residences at Annapolis Junction for anyone who is in search for a new home. It’s in a great location, quiet, safe and luxurious.

What can I say, living at Annapolis Junction has been a pleasure. This apartment is truly a luxury apartment. From the moment you walk in your greeted with an environment that feels exclusive. From the beautiful lounge to the quiet floors, you almost feel like you are in a resort instead of an apartment. Having lived in these apartment for the last 3 years I've enjoyed friendly staff in both the main office and maintenance. They are always pleasant to work with and willing to go above and beyond to solve any issues that may arise. I can truly say I have never experienced an apartment building that I can say that really feels like home. Even the apartments themselves with its high ceilings and beautiful large windows, provides and atmosphere of comfort and safety. I really like the staff at Annapolis Junction. They are friendly, professional, and willing to help with almost anything. I often enjoy having meaningful conversations with the staff about just about any topic. They're good-hearted social demeanor makes them stand out as a good team. I usually don't do reviews, but I'm making an exception in this case because I feel very happy to be living in this apartment buildingThank you,

I've lived here since January of 2023 and I absolutely LOVE it. The leasing office staff have started to feel like family helping me with problems outside of family issues.The actual building is always spotless, the amenities are always in perfect condition and I haven't had a single problem since living here!This is by far the best place i've ever lived and not just because of how nice the living space is. But also because of the community that the leasing office has created. The resident events have given me both friends and neighbors! The give aways and food trucks always keep me feeling like there's something happening.100000% recommend moving here for anyone interested!

Annapolis Junction is the perfect place to call home!!!!We moved here in 2018 when the building was brand new! Jasimone has been here from day one making sure we felt like we are home!!!We started off in a beautiful 1 bedroom with a pool view. We thought maybe we would stay out our 1 year lease and then purchase a home. Well that year came up really quickly so we ended up renewing our lease. When we got here the 1st month we saw a lot of changes in the personnel but Jasimone remained here at the property. About a year later we saw another change, but Jasimone remained.Well we all know what happened in 2020 so we thought well maybe we should purchase a home now. We were out bid on a few properties and watched the interest rates climb. We put homeownership on the back burner knowing we had a beautiful place to live already. I spoke with Jasimone though this entire process and express since we are staying we will need a bigger place. she totaly understood our needs and once the floor plan she knew I would want came available she let me know. It was an easy move for us. Jasimone was always a there to answer my questions no matter what.The entire staff has been wonderful, Chris, Danielle, and Christi! Whenever we need anything done its DONE!!!If anyone reading this is looking for a great place to call home it would definitely be The Residences at Annapolis Junction!

We've lived in this complex for about 3 months and it's head and shoulders above any place we've lived in this area! The apartment is spacious and up to date and we love the natural light. The kitchen is our favorite place now, it has lots of storage and the appliances are quality.The staff here also makes this a great place, the office and maintenance staff are very helpful and friendly; the office staff even often knows who we are when we walk in. All of our maintenance issues have been fixed within hours.The parking garage is another perk even though you do pay for it, we like knowing our cars are safe.The only drawbacks are mainly the location and the price. There isn't much within walking distance (our old place had a grocery store and restaurants that were open more than the ones here) but it's not a dealbreaker. The fast access to 32 and 295 make up for it. The price is a little steep but it's not bad compared to places we've lived before that weren't as close to being as nice as this is.We have no regrets about moving here!

This has been one of the best apartments I’ve ever lived in. The showers are hot and the water pressure is perfect. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. The staff is incredibly welcoming and their maintenance crew has always gotten to my repairs within 24 hours! They also host awesome events onsite so there’s always something the community can look forward to :) love this place. The brewery and coffee shop right outside has been a huge plus as well. Would absolutely recommend this complex

The service and amenities are as good as they seem on the website. The staff, especially Jaysimone, are exceptional and attentive. The grounds and building is well kept and parking in the garage is very convenient access (you’re floor has an outlet to the garage).Very happy for the last two months I’ve been here.

I have enjoyed residing at the Residences of Annapolis Junction. I have lived here since May 2019 and love my very roomy apartment, the safety, parking garage advantages, and many other amenities. I am a senior, and though there are many age groups residing here, everyone is extremely welcoming and I feel comfortable and safe. The office staff and maintenance crew are phenomenal and always ready to assist if I have any problem. I have used the community room for several activities such as a wedding shower, graduation celebrations, etc. The community room is so stylish and every visitor always comments on the modern and designed look of the room. I couldn’t be happier during my 3-year stay and I don’t plan to move anytime soon.

My husband and I have been residents since last May. We are so pleased with our living experience at AJ. The staff (especially Mrs. J) are very very nice and accommodating. Utilities are included with your rent, so you get everything in one bill except wi-fi. It makes life a breeze. Maintenance requests are handled within 24 hours typically - and they will replace things if they are not working properly. The hallways and entire complex are kept clean. There's cleaning staff on site everyday. Floors are always freshly mopped and vacuumed. Also, the community events and food trucks are outstanding. I came home one day and Aunt Annie's was parked out front. I encourage you to tour and ask as many questions as you need to. Also, it's very safe. You can't access anything without a key. Parking is outstanding too, you can park on the floor you live on. Additionally, we have a dog. He's had a positive experience too. We will be renewing.

The Dorsey run side of the building is loud. Could never get any sleep. The garage is poorly maintained. The kitchen cabinets were falling apart. The shades on the windows are see-through. Neighbors are disrespectful. They smoke in the building, and drop food all over the floors. The walls and ceilings are thin and you hear everything. Maintenance comes in your apartment whenever they feel like it. Was here for 18 months and it was the worst. I hated living here.

This is my 3rd year in RAJ and I still love it. The neighborhood is vey peaceful and quiet. This apartment continues to be one of the best places you could live in the area. All staffs are professional and amazing. The maintenance is super fast. They keep this community clean and comfort everyday. I don't have anything to complain about this complex. The Residence at Annapolis JunctionIs a great community to live. First, the staff is extremely responsive, very friendly, and very helpful. They truly have a create a family atmosphere in the building. Additionally, and more importantly, the building is very secure with little to zero incidence occurring. the residence are very responsible, never any issues, loud music, loud noise, or problems with neighbors. The building is built very well. And many times you hear the residence. Mention how quiet the apartments are. I strongly recommend it as a place to live.

This is a review of my tenure as a resident at The Residences at Annapolis Junction. Ms. Jasimon Richardson was my leasing agent. During my tenure of 5+ years, she has always been committed to excellent customer service which has always culminated with positive outcomes. I am an active senior, who prefers to live conventional as opposed to senior living. The staff has always made me feel like an internal part of the community. Having a disability along with age sometimes you feel aleinated not so here. Jay along with the housekeeping, maintenance staff as well as the postal workers assist anyway they can i.e., from carrying packages, using the equipment in the business, sending faxes, even opening jars and fasting jewelry (smile). They help anyway they can ensuring my comfort and safety. I sincere express my gratitude. The office is always inviting to the tthoughtfulness and crafts Jaye's displays during all occasions throughout the year to make us feel at home. Jaye is very approchable, willing to help and assist no matter what problems or concerns the residences may encounter with uncommon zeal an enthusiasm. Additionally, it demonstrates how competent and knowledgeable she is concerning affairs and standards for effective and efficient apartment living. We have lived here about 4 years. I did my homework prior to initially moving here and I contemplated not renewing my lease which is up in April. I spend months looking at places on line and in person and this is still my favorite place. I ended up renewing my lease and continue to be super happy living here. The staff here are amazing and so super nice. I know people say its pricey but to live in a beautiful place with great amenities, an awesome staff, and a fabulous apartment its well worth the price.

New management does not respond to emails unless you are trying to make a payment. Do not let the good reviews fool you as they are incentivized by “free” giveaway's. Apartments are fine, but way overpriced for size/location. Area has terrible smell and poor air quality from very loud trains and interstate close by. Considered part of Howard County so you will also be paying premium on local taxes.
