Absolutely beautiful property! Perfect for sitting outside and drinking cider with friends. The owners, Chester and Trish, are extremely sweet and informative about the ciders and the land. I will say, the ciders were not much for the taste of our group. The owners explained the ciders were more like a wine, and that’s just their unique way of making it. Which is fine! But if you were like us and expecting the more traditional bubbly, crisp hard cider, this isn’t it. So just be prepared for the style if you go!

We went for a bachelorette party, and we had a blast at Branch Bender. The couple that owns and runs this cider brewery are just lovely. They explained how they started the brewery and how they brew the ciders. Their space for tastings is wonderfully decorated, cozy, and inviting. They will start a fire in their pit too, if wanted. The entire experience was really fun! I’d definitely recommend it to visitors (and locals) in the area!

Hidden gem in northern Accident, just 15 mins from Deep Creek. They offer 7 different ciders and you can do tastings of however many you like and purchase bottles of cider, snacks, and bring some of your own food to enjoy on site. The area has plenty of parking, plenty of outdoor covered and open seating, and fire pits for cooler months. My favorite cider was the town namesake, Accident, for its bright lemony finish.

Went here with a group of 12 girls for a bachelorette party in June and it was absolutely one of the major highlights of our weekend! I communicated with Chester via phone and email prior to the day to schedule our reservation and when I had to make multiple changes, he was super patient and accommodating. As soon as we got there, Chester and Trish welcomed us and made sure we were comfortable. Chester gave us a nice description of each cider we tried and provided us with plates and napkins for the charcuterie board we brought from Firefly Farms. After enjoying our cider, we took a walk around the property and found a beautiful flower field, which we of course led to a full photo shoot. The entire place is so picturesque! It’s a hidden gem that I would highly recommend to anyone in the Deep Creek area. Thank you for a great experience!!

This place is a true gem of rural America. Situated on rolling farmland, Branch Bender Cidery offers a pastoral landscape that is every bit as lovely as the ciders they brew.Trish and Chester are kind and gracious hosts that made us feel right at home with our extended family--including 7 kids age 1-8. We brought a charcuterie board and pizza to go with their cider tasting experience.Their ciders put all of the major brands to shame (Angry Orchard, Redd's Apple Ale, etc.) They are not overly sweet and do not use additives. Their ciders are complex and full of depth of flavor. They rely wholly on the apples to provide the unique flavor profiles, and you won't find anything like it in your local liquor store.This is a must visit to anyone vacationing around Deep Creek Lake.

We were coming to town for our friends bachelorette party and were so excited to stop by on our way! We saw that they weren’t open normally and they accommodated us and opened for a few hours. The ciders were delicious and the atmosphere is great! We also got to meet there adorable cat! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

A hidden gem! Dog friendly, tasty cider and stunning views! The owners are absolutely lovely, we got to see so much of their gorgeous property. And fun projects on the way! We had such an amazing few hrs during a gorgeous day. An easy drive from Morgantown. We can’t wait to go back for spring time!

Absolutely beautiful location! The ciders are great, not carbonated, finish like a wine and go down easy. Owners are wonderful and take time to make their guests comfortable. Went for my bachelorette party and Trish made me a custom bouquet to take home! We will definitely be back!

This place is a hidden gem!!! 10/10 would recommend to everyone. The owners are SO sweet & have amazing recommendations of local places for us out-of-towners. They accommodated our large party with ease & made the entire experience so special. They have a beautiful property with great hospitality. The ciders were amazing!! All 13 of us would go back again! If you're willing to make the drive, it's a lovely destination. Picturesque surroundings, genuinely nice owners and delicious cider. Their aged cider drinks more like wine than the store bought cider-very light and crisp.

We were staying in Deep Creek for my bachelorette weekend and I’m so glad we chose to visit here during our stay! The owners were so incredibly kind and knowledgeable. You could tell they’re passionate about what they do. We loved every one of the ciders we tried. It was also a super cute and cozy atmosphere for us to hang out and enjoy the beautiful day.

What a gem! The owners were friendly and welcoming, and the decor was charming. We explored the flower fields, did a tasting of three ciders, and purchased a bottle for home. Best of all, while chatting with the owner I learned she sells bouquets and she arranged a beautiful anniversary bouquet that we picked up the next day on our way out of town. Highly recommend!

We went with a larger group for a bachelorette and Chester and his wife were the best. So accommodating to us. The place is adorable. The weather was chilly so they had fires going. The cider is wine like and delicious. Couldn’t recommend more!

This place is a gem! Great cider, amazing scenery and decor and wonderful owners. They have a half open barn that has been styled beautifully - you can do tastings and tables to sit at and enjoy the cider. Walk the grounds and see the flower fields. They have a few snacks but I recommend you bring a picnic. The owners are super friendly and have a great story. If you aren’t around on a weekend when they are doing tastings, their cider can be purchased at firefly or McHenry Beverage Shoppe.

My wife and I decided to check out the newly opened cidery and we had an amazing experience! When we arrived we were met by the super friendly owners Chester and Trish. We went though a tasting and loved every cider we had. The ciders were delicious and complex, reminding us of the many tasting experiences we had in wine countries throughout California. The tasting room was a renovated dairy barn, and there’s also a large outdoor patio with upscale covered seating and fireplaces.Our favorites were the Sassy Granny and the Devil’s Half Acre, we loved them so much we had a leave with a bottle each! A bonus is that we were allowed to bring outside food, so we brought along a charcuterie board to accompany our tastings. Branch Bender Cidery was an absolute pleasure to visit, from their beautiful grounds to their selection of ciders, this place is a must try and has quickly become one my wife and I’s favorite places in the area!We can’t wait to bring our family!

We were on vacation and excited to visit the cidery with friends. We figured that the outdoor venue would be great to visit since we had a young daughter and a baby son, and one of the other couples we came with also had their daughter with them.Upon our arrival, the hostess informed us that we needed to keep our kids at the table and not let them run around. She seemed suspicious of the fact that we had children with us. It's an outdoor venue and we figured that it would be fine for our kids to sit with us for a little bit. We informed her that we would keep them with us and that they wouldn't be running around. It was raining outside and we asked if we could sit under the covered area and she implied that the other customers wouldn't be comfortable with our kids being near them. It was very awkward and embarrassing. Our children were very peaceful and the hostess had no reason to think that they would be disruptive. We were only there to sample the cider briefly before taking our kids for ice cream. But because of her lack of professionalism and hospitality, we left immediately. Our friends who came with us and did not have kids decided to leave as well because they didn't like how we were treated.It would have been nice to know that the Cidery was not child friendly before we drove the distance out there. This venue only has a Facebook page and no website and there was nothing to indicate that our children were not welcome.We don't plan to visit again.

We had the most wonderful afternoon at Branch Bender Cidery. We came here as a stop on a wine/cider tour for a girls' weekend. The owners were so lovely and welcoming, the tasting area is beautiful and the cider was delicious. We can't thank Brand Bender Cidery enough for such a great visit. We look forward to visiting again soon.

We came here for my cousins bachelorette and had a LOVELY time! The property is beautiful, the atmosphere is so unique and the hospitality is one of a kind. Chester (the owner) was a fabulous host and his wife was the decor queen. Her style is so eclectic and cute. Both were so knowledgeable in all things ciders. I’d definitely recommend this for a cute afternoon celebration like birthdays, bachelorette get togethers and more.
