Customer service and support at Lowe's sucks and that's putting it nicely. I ordered a Oklahoma Joe's Tahoma 900 grill from you guys and had it assembled and delivered. The grill arrived missing bolts and the drip pan. Not to mention one of your employees originally told me that the grill wouldn't arrive on the delivery date when I was picking up the cover for the grill.

I ordered a patio Set , Gazebo and A indoor/outdoor rug. Worst experience ever. The Gazebo was late being delivered to the store, my rug was lost in store somehow, and my patio set was suppose to be assembled. It was never assembled and they kept saying the team didn’t do it which canceled my delivery date twice. The rug was never located. I’ll never spend a dime at this store again. I’m go to Home Depot before I ever return. I had to tell them just bring what they have and I’ll figure out how to put it together.

My experience with getting flooring installed by Lowe’s was a complete nightmare. It all started when I went to pick up the flooring at the store, and they couldn’t find it, and all I got was an attitude from their service desk. Not even an apology. Then, the installers installed flooring with the wrong pattern, they installed the wrong transition strip between rooms and caused a trip hazard for my 78 year old father, they did nothing to help keep the dust down in the house even with my father on oxygen, they made all their cuts inside the house instead of outside. They tracked mud and dirt in the house when they were going in and out. They also installed the transition strip, which was wrong, crooked. After weeks of trying to get them back out there, they finally came out and “fixed” the transition strip and put the right one in, and STILL installed it crooked. Then, after months, yes, months, of phone calls, battling with their install “support” team, I finally got them out there to fix the pattern. This took 3 months of phone calls and emails. The Lowe’s store managers were actually very sympathetic to my cause, however , the Lowe’s install team, or whatever they are, was terrible, as well as their installers. They were going to send the same person out that messed it up in the first place. Which is ridiculous. They offered a very small compensation refund for all the trouble I went through, and they said they considered the matter closed. The matter is closed when the customer is satisfied, not before then. I’ve also posted pictures of the flooring on google. I really didn’t want to leave this kind of review but I had no choice.

I purchased/ was gifted lamp shades that are too small for my lamps. I attempted to bring the lampshades back and purchase the right size. The larger size cost more so I would have to add more money. The assistant manager Chris the assistant store manager informed me that they do not do refunds or exchanges unless you have the card it was purchased with or the receipt. The lampshades are still new & in the package. I'm out of over $60 of merchandise for a rule I never heard of and I would not shop at a store that does not have a reasonable return policy. I'm not sure if I paid cash or if my friend gifted them to me because Lowes system is not acknowledging that I purchased them with my card or my phone numbers. Their prices are higher than home depot & online. Chris laughed when I asked for his Regional Manager (Ben Komidina) after he told me that he and the store manager couldnt assist me. I requested the number to corporate. Let's see how this goes.

We went here looking to have our counter replaced in our spare bathroom. The "specialist" for countertops, Kim, seemed to lack an extreme amount of knowledge in this matter.First, she did not know how to use the software on her computer provided to her for ordering countertops. It took ages for her to navigate and I even had to show her how to click things a few times. Second, she was highly confusing when trying to explain dimensions of the countertop and did not make sense at all. What should have been a 5 minute ordeal discussing length, width, and height ended up going for almost 30 minutes.The delivery time for a new counter was also untimely (8 weeks). I don't think my family will be back for any countertops or specialist advice anytime soon unless the specialists are actually trained and knowledgeable. This was ultimately a waste of time.

If you enjoy a Lowes where the entire staff is clumped in the front of the store not helping anyone this is the place for you! Don't interrupt their chatting or you'll get pissed off looks. Don't worry they always will have one girl helping with 4 self checkouts and no one in kitchen or appliances.

2/27/24 A great Associate in the lunber check out. Faith ID # 783340258990588679 was very very helpful with my lumber needs. She took the time to look into the aisle location to provide me with quick access to the pine step treads and I greatly appreciated that as I have issues walking.Great service and very helpful. Her professional service and helpfulness was greatly appreciated and should be used as training purposes for new employees. She is an asset to Lowe's and should be commented for her helpfulness and kindness to me. I tell my relatives and friends of the high quality services at Lowe's Bel Air South and all of your sales reps welcome you with a hello and a smile. Which is rare these days in the retail market.

Paid 7400 for a UTV sent me home with a dead battery fouled spark plug wouldn't start the next day has to go get a spark plug for it for a brand new machine sad. It going back .

Very disappointed. We went there 3 times with the purpose of buying a refrigerator, grill and building materials. We kept ringing for customer service but nobody came to help us. One person whom we thought finally came to help us went to a totally different couple and asked if they needed help. We kept looking for other employees who might be available. Some other employee was talking to someone they knew and totally avoided helping us. Needless to say, we ended up buying a very nice high end refrigerator and an awesome grill from Home Depot. ( By the way this was way before Christmas time, so no excuses)

It's plain and simple -- LOWES has everything ! NEVER went there looking for SOMETHING and they DIDN'T HAVE IT . Super easy to get your veterans discount . Every employee seems to know where everything is in the store , I don't know how ! NOT LOWES FAULT -- don't buy LG brand dishwasher -- we bought with STAINLESS STEEL INSIDE and in 3 years there was RUST on the stainless steel (?) . LG would NOT REPLACE , and LG product problems with their refrigerators seen on line . LOWES however is the GREATEST !

Wanted to buy a grill because it had a good price, but then we see that the sign says only valid until December 13th. Why still keep the sign up if you aren’t going to give that discounted price? Then when I was trying to speak to customer service for another matter, the two boys up there saw me approaching and walked away like that had other things to do even though before they were just standing around and talking.

It’s it me or do others feel that Lowe’s is a poor second when compared to Home DepotI find the staff are less interactive in their support of your shopping mission in Lowe’s when compared to their competitors such as Home DepotIn the UK there’s a product called marmite and the Brits either love it or hate it - whilst my emotions are not that polarized with these two stores I do find the Home Depot staff and store a much better retail experience and would shear be my default go to

I recently switched from a Home Depot customer to Lowe’s. I have purchased upwards of $70,000 over the past couple months from lowes. I had to return four faucets from a new home build that were the wrong size. Lowes would not take them back because they were returned on the 91st day and the policy is 90 days. I assumed I would at least get a store credit which would have been fine since I have many more items still to purchase but was told a store credit could not be given either. I was unaware of that policy but I have never had this issue in the past at Home Depot. Looks like it is time to go back to old reliable.

I ordered a range 11/29 and sched delivery for Dec 13. I removed old range disconnected it and then got an email at 8:00 am on deliv day that delivery was rescheduled for 12/19. When I called it became clear the range was not available and they couldn’t tell me when it would be. I had to cancel and try to find another range with delivery 10 days before the holiday. Don’t sell items that you don’t have!! People rearrange their entire day to wait for your 8-8 delivery time. I should have been informed days prior that this item would not be avail! Shame on you. Do better.On a pos note I also had to pick up a grill I ordered bc I was not avail on their rescheduled date and the woman who assisted me in deliveries was very helpful and efficient. Lionel in tools was very rude. Linda at check out was not inviting. This is a very WHITE & older group of employees. I traveled the nearly the entire store no said Good morning or may I help you! Very sad shopping experience! I should had took my money to Home Depot!

Checked on a 2400 Craftsman mower and it said "In Stock" at the Bel Air Lowe's. Went there with trailer to buy. They refused to sell, said it would not be ready until Monday. False advertising formal complaint with State of Maryland and BBB.

Tried to purchase a Fridge but the customer services person was extremely disrespectful and did not give me the time day. When I showed the fridge I wanted he walked away with out explaining what he was doing and then came back and continued to walk by us to finally come back to us 10mins later to tell us they didn’t have it. I asked if they had a fridge in a stainless steel black and started to argue with me how they didn’t have the fridge I wanted in that color. I understand what he was saying was just trying to get an idea of what the color might look like. Decided not to purchase just bc of how rude he was. Didn’t get his name but had 25+ year badge on and other badges.

Over all Lowe's is good. However very dissapointed they did not make a $50 price adjustment for a Refrigerator i purchased four (4) days before it went on Sale. Next time I will purchase elsewhere.

This Lowes is large enough to have a lot of product range to, especially for fixtures and appliances, that I don't see at my usual smaller Lowes closer to home. We stopped by for a kid activity day while in the neighborhood, and it was a little hard to find that outside around a corner, but we had fun nonetheless. For the clearance plants we also took advantage of there were some nicer selection too. One plumbing part I hoped to pick up was not on the shelf. But that is normal for these plumbing sections.

Curtis, the store manager, and his entire team over at the Bel Air, Md Lowes do an absolute awesome job of taking care of their customers and contractors. Curtis and his Lowes team just coordinated a very special holiday event for Santa to come visit and to spend time with the kids. My daughter was so happy and had an absolute wonderful time at Lowes “Winter Wonderland “ that was created by Curtis and the Lowes team. I can’t thank you enough for the smile that you put on my daughter’s face!!!!

I personally prefer lowes over home depot because of cleanliness of the stores and its much easier to find help when you need it.
