My husband came in this evening to get lunch meat and the way the cheese was stacked it was crumbled on the ends I have in a deli at a grocery store and I know how Sundays are but for real 45 extra seconds to make a product presentable is ok just take a few extra seconds to give customers a product the way you want it given to you

I knew right away with the service that Ireceived management had changed with curb side. I shopped with them all the all through the pandemic,weekly for 2 years. Kayla needs training in customer service. I said I knew I was late did she want me to come in and pick it up because 20 min had passed,she said yes,it's ready. I went un the store and stood at the customer service desk for 20 more min before she would even answer the front desk. She finally comes and I say you told me to come in and she tried to say I wasn't clear in what I said as she rudely walks away. Then she she took 20 more min to even bring it up front.I called for the manager to ask for assistance,I explained the situation and he looked at me like I had two heads,no wonder she acts the way she does. At that point I canceled my order.

The people are always nice at this store, I just wished the store did a better job of pulling old items and produce off the shelves. Each trip to the store, (I got often..1-2x/week) I am buying something expired or something that is molded. It is quite frustrating that it happens so often. I hope the store can improve on this. I noticed that stores that don't have this problem as often, have more workers on the floor checking the shelves for items that are getting ready to expire.

Some times produce can be moldy , pretty stocked up on everything however I’ve caught some expired produce was kind enough to tell the employees standing nearby and was simply heared but obviously not replyed to so I just went to another store for my produce that day ! Store employees are the mark down of this ShopRite very much in need of costumer service training, even the managers ! Don’t speak or acknowledge their guest ! So leading by example is the problem also employees are hostile I used this as neighborhood marketing until a new security guard accused me of stealing a iteam I was eating when I came in store eating and something they don’t even sell furthermore, also a employee threatened me when I documented with manager he told me he could not tell me any update because of employee safety! My response was what about your customers especially returning loyal customers safety!a customer service oriented body is better then a body. I would think

Lots of shoppers in store for Holiday shopping. We bought a beautiful roast for 49$. The staple items like sugar are almost doubled since last week... Well, what do ya know?? LOL. Still a family favorite grocery!!

I stopped in to buy their roasted chickens and I thought wow they're on sale for $6.99 normally $7.99. I bought 3 took them home all 3 were bad. I brought them back and they said sorry there is nothing we can do about it. I wont be shopping there any more.Update: So I call the phone number posted in the response to my post. After being on hold for 30 mins with intermittent updates of how many callers are a head of me. It finally says there are zero callers ahead of me, then *clic* it hangs up. At this point I no longer care about the $20.97 I spent on the 3 rotten chickens. From now on, I'm just going to shop at Wegmans. The food is fresher and the customer care is top notch.2nd update: since selling rotten rotissiere chickens seem to be ok with them based on store policy I decided to look into it further. I stopped into Weis Market and went to customer service desk and asked, if I buy one of your roasted chickens, and it turns out to be spoiled, can I bring it back? They said, "Of course!" There you have it. Shop Rite could care less. As long as they're dumping spoiled meat. Also the response that they put here is just canned text to force you through their automated holding lines. Enough said. I wont be shopping there anymore.

This store has steadily been getting worse. Recently the policy for 20 items or less in self checkout has become absurd. Today no one was in the store and the clerk said I could not use shelf checkout. While standing in line to wait not a single person went to self checkout. I waited 30 min before I was even starting to be checked out. Again at this time people are pulling in line because the clerk at self check out refused to have anyone use it. By the time I was about to leave . The self checkout person went to open another line leaving it unattended, still almost no one at it. I am not sure if it is poor management, horrible policies, or just employee incompetence, but they single handedly caused a mass backup in service, this not being the only time. I understand if you are busy to expedite the 20 item or less shoppers, but when no one is even waiting......

I came here this past weekend and it’s a very nice shoprite. It’s very neat and clean and the staff is very nice, I would definitely come back in again. They have a very nice selection of products and food as well.

I’ve been there three times to return bad meat. Although, the customer service is excellent I will not be returning. I’ve never had an issue with any other markets in the area.

The aisles are a little narrow but the place is always stocked. My heroes! they sell World's Best cat litter. If you like seafood here's the place. Great meat department with fab sales. Friendly staff. Self check outs too.

Would not honor price clearly marked on the package. Took my steaks off of the check out belt and told me they would be $12 per pack more. Should have walked out and let my hundreds worth of groceries on the belt

I work there 5 years ago and I was treated badly especially at night shift for stocker job. The first thing I heard from your supervisor before I started to work that night was why did they hired me. I was disappointed when I heard that. Some nights were good and then got worse months later on. After I worked 4 months there I got a better job offer and quit my job there and turned my badge in too without a two weeks notice. I am glad that I quit working there.

They are currently having a good sale on Splash water. But, they have no inventory of 16oz bottles. I was there yesterday and told customer service. Went back today but still no inventory. Why have a sale with no product??

The store is well laid out and well-staffed. The staff are pleasant to associate with and the new system of self checkout lines it takes a lot of stress out although the main checkout lines are always still very slow

Nothing special, prices are pretty high for it to be a regular grocery store. You have to go through too much trouble to get a rain check. The cashiers don't have a personality, although a few of them are friendly. The bathroom was a little creepy looking. It wasn't filthy but there were spots of water all over the floor. I honestly didn't care, I had to go very badly and I knew I wouldn't be able to make it home. This store is just okay, I'm not in love with the place. I guess it's nice if you need something local.***Update***I was here on 10/17/20. This store was insanely crowded! I know it was a Saturday but I was not expecting that. There seems to be no regard for safety anymore - customers walking around with the mask under their nose, zero physical distancing, and there's no longer arrows on the floor in the aisles. Having to duck and dodge folks, constantly looking over your shoulder to make sure someone isn't standing too close, it gets exhausting. If you're a senior or have health issues, do not come here on the weekend! Peace out and stay safe ✌😷

I went in and there were 2 dogs in the store. I dont care if they are emotional support, people lie about that. I love dogs but I don't want them around the food I'm purchasing or in the cart in which I'm putting my food in. Unsanitary...I went to another market.

This is a nice location in a busy center. There is plenty of parking and the store is roomy and large. Customer Service was helpful. There was a seafood sale the day I was there and there was a large variety . The meat department was busy. There is a small sitting area near the deli. The bakery wasn't extensive but there was a good variety. You definitely want a customer card to access the sales.

ShopRite has been a great grocery chain for years. Prices on some essentials like milk, eggs, and some frozen items has always been a bit high though. They do offer coupons on their app/website and double coupons up to $1 value; if you're spending at least $25, if you dip under $25 they're no longer doubled. You'll also find some tasty items here that you won't find elsewhere. Get some crab dip from the seafood section. You won't regret it!

I came in for grocery shopping today, and I went through the self check out, and the guy that attended the self check out is not so helpful. The price of the watermelon is a dollar more, so I ask him to fix it. Instead, he asked me where I got it? He told me to go to the service desk to get help. He needs training on how to deal properly with assisting customers. The lady came from the customer service to help since he is not so helpful about the situation. I am very disappointed 😞 😔 😕

Average grocery store, Since they reorganized the aisles are half the width and you can't get by anyone. The digital coupons are a joke, it tells you the offer isn't available in that store even though there is a sign every 2 feet that says otherwise. The line at customer service is too long to wait for them to resolve it.I just decided I will never go in there again. I normally just go for sale items anyway, I shop at other store with a lot better prices.

Good selection. Most produce ok but some things could be much fresher. Fresh seafood seems to have frequent refrigeration/freshness issues - be sure to check.Ample parking. Lines move quickly, even when busy. Customer service usually pretty good.

I’m kinda late posting this but I went here to get a few things since my power went out. As I went to pay for things at the self checkout, the cashier lady was staring at me the whole time with a disgusting look on her face. There were other people who were at the self checkout but she only stayed near me, watching me the whole time, no words, no greeting, no smile, nothing. Even after I paid for my thing and went to grab a few bags of ice, she was still staring at me. I’m not trying make this an issue with race, but i was definitely the minority there unlike everyone else at the self checkout.

I stopped by Shoprite in Beards Hill Plaza to pick up some salmon and organic bananas. It was about 8:30 pm so the store wasn't very crowded and parking was ample. The sales associate gentleman at the fish counter was super helpful to both me and the customer before me. He asked if I had a preference from the available salmon pieces. Packaged it up quickly and nicely and off I went to check out. There were 3 or 4 registers open which was ample for the customers checking out. The young lady sales associate who rung up my my products was helpful and polite as well. She was quick and efficient without being reckless with my groceries and those of the customer before me. In addition to the salmon I also purchased organic bananas. Great overall shopping experience

This place is clean and the staff is extremely nice. The prices are always low. The seasonal stuff is great and in season. I ordered from the deli and although it took a while, my order came out perfect. When I got home it tasted fresh and delicious. Their fruit and vegetables are fresh 10 out of 10 times. The meat in the back was well priced and came out amazing. It's hard to get 200 characters when you're not complaining. I give this place five stars everytime I'm in here. They have a red box. They have maryland stuff like mats and shirts and socks. Maryland grilling stuff. One of the few super markets with magazines and books.
