Probably the best place to go for your car needs. They use genuine, OEM parts and do not uncharge. They get you in/out pretty quickly too and the most fair pricing you'll find. Good customer service as well. I drive an hour because they're that good- worth it.

I lived in Maryland 16 years. I also worked for the C.I.A and D.O.J. when I was in DC. I bought my MKIII Jetta in June 1995. It hit 253,000 on it. Moved back to Jersey in 2002. My car took a direct hit from a Honda CBR400 on June 4, 2004. Kid died.(He was drunk.) Had car fixed in Maryland.2015, wanted to "do it up." Someone recommended NGP. They tore engine completely down and put new suspension in my car. I still live in Jersey but will bring my car down to them if I can't do it myself. This shop is "hands down" one of the TOP shops in the country!! Like top 1 out of 2!! If you have a problem with NGP, something is wrong! With you! They do exceptional work all the time! No one can touch them. Period! Dave and crew are the BEST! Just wonder about the cornfields!(ha ha) Like Michael Jordan. Can't miss!

Strongly recommend for anyone with a volkswagen. Went in thinking that my engine was completely dead and they had every opportunity to replace it but instead they diagnosed the problem and saved me thousands by not having to replace my engine. Very honest and professional and will definitely be my lifelong mechanic for any Volkswagen cars.

Update (3/8/23): I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Had an MBRP catback exhaust installed as well as a beautiful new set of APR AO1 wheels. Car sounds better than ever, the drive home was one of my favorite rides I've had with the car.Had an APR Intake system installed for my Mk8 GTI. After sending my initial email, Mike promptly responded and set up an appointment for me. The shop is very nice and well-kept, waiting for the installation was not an issue at all. Needless to say, I am very happy with the work New German Performance did for my GTI. They certainly made a returning customer out of me. I reccomend anyone with a VW or Audi to take advantage of their services.

They had exactly what I needed for my brothers car. It was during Christmas and shipping was going to take to long from other online stores and they had it in stock so I was able to pick it up that day and it was perfect. The staff are very helpful in making sure I had exactly what I needed. This will be the only place I goto from now on.

NGP is my go to repair shop for my car. They do an amazing and thorough job each time. The Service reps do a great job with staying in communication with updates and stuff. They even let me go back and watch my car get dyno'd at one point. Anyways if you are considering this shop, do it. Cant say enough good things. NGP Aberdeen has provided top-tier service for me and my 2017 Jetta from day one. I originally went to NGP because my Jetta would lag when I accelerated. They suggested an ECU tune, but recommended I take care of a couple standard maintenance issues first.After helping get my car to a good point, they recently flashed my ECU with an APR file and my car runs better than before. Mind you this was just a stage 1 flash with no bolt-on accessories.Needless to say I will be back again and again to work with the team at NGP Aberdeen.

Been using them for service and to help me for parts for my Mk1's, Mk2's, Mk3's, Mk6 and various Audis over the years and even used them to buy parts. They are good guys and also into the cars so they understand if you have a car that may be a pita but you love it. They are still the same great company even as they have grown. My abused Audi A4 that I just bought is currently in getting work done. They are fair, detail estimates well and communicate good. If you have a German car it's a great place to go.

I recently acquired my 3rd Audi. All 3 of them go to New German Performance for service and performance upgrades since 2010. They've performed everything from routine maintenance and extensive repairs all the way to full performance modifications, and I have never had a comeback for anything. These guys helped me diagnose my car immediately after I had already taken it to another shop several times. Unfortunately after having them replace my engine, we discovered that I had bought a faulty motor on eBay. They went out of their way to help me out in a tough situation and in the end got my car up and running when I was ready to scrap it. I probably talked to 4 or 5 different people in their shop throughout the whole situation. Each one of them was extremely professional, insightful and all around helpful. I am extremely thankful. These are people that care about their trade and helping customers.

NGP has always provided excellent service at a great price. They have handled all major work on my A4, changing the timing belt, major suspension work, new window motors, and an engine rebuild. They provided high quality parts with a good warranty in each case. NGP were easy to deal with and there weren't any delays - they know what they're doing.Recently, my A4 needed an engine rebuild after a catastrophic failure related to the engine design (not the prior rebuild). The owner, Dave, called me about the estimate for this work and he recommended against rebuilding the engine. He knew that my car has 160K miles and there are other major components that could fail in the next few years. Where can you find a car service organization that is this honest?

I've taken my Golf to NGP at least 3 times and these guys always do great work. They are able to diagnose issues quickly thanks to their VW expertise and they have never tried to upsell me on any repairs. They are also always super friendly and helpful on the phone or in person. ****Just had major overhaul on my 2015 VW Jetta TDI - New Timing Belt, New Water Pump, New Heater Core, Coolant Flush, DSG service, Oil leak inspection and oil change. I wanted to wait a few weeks to see how the car was performing before taking the time to write this review. I must say everything is running VERY smoothly. She purrs like a kitten again! If you are new to NGP and reading this review to make a decision I'm gonna "Bottom Line" you: They take what feels like an eternity to get you into their shop - for me it was about 2-3 weeks just to get the car into their shop. But remember, most really good medical surgeons can take months and travel to even get a first visit. So, get over it, work out alterative wheels if you must - and please give them the time they need while in the shop - it will be worth the wait!! The staff is friendly, helpful, patient and knowledgeable. Their prices weren't cheap however they were much much lower than the dealership. I was referred to NGP by my local mechanic because they didn't want to touch a German car. I would most definitely recommend and will be a repeat customer. Thank You NGP!!!!!*****
