This place is great! Love going here on way back from Baltimore to NY. It’s got big cathedral ceiling! And it’s open and clean. Very nice and clean bathrooms and got Dunkin’ Donuts. Just a great overall stop!

Several food choices but all are very overpriced. Think airport prices. I stopped for lunch and tried Jerry's Subs as that was the one place with no line and I'm not picky. But they were terrible. Just avoid that one. All the other places seemed fine. Dunkin Donuts had a long line but they were quick and the food was as expected. The restrooms were big and the place was generally clean, albeit overpriced.PS: if you want to see adults running around in public in their pajamas, this is the place for you!

The Maryland Travel Plaza is very similar to those on the NJ Turnpike the facilities are clean and modern especially the bathrooms. There are a wide variety of stores from Dunkin Donuts to Nathan’s Hot Dogs just to name a few. There is also a convenience store but it is very expensive. There is plenty of parking and plenty of outlets to charge your phone.

Large service area with nicely renovated, it’s actually between north and south side of I 95 so both direction it’s good to stop for fill up empty stomach. My attached picture will tell you the rest, but worth to stop by here.

One of the best rest stop going north 95. The 1 thing I hate is when you use the restroom no hot water available and no mirror

Huge parking lot with separate sections for cars and trucks. Plenty of choices in foods to choose from, a variety of fast food restaurants represented, and a deli type station. There are souvenirs, from stuffed animals, shirts, mugs, key rings, and so many more! The bathrooms are clean and stocked.

Overall a good complex for those that want a quick bite to eat. The property has plenty of bathroom stalls so there should be no wait. While there are several dining options, they are all fairly overpriced, but you are paying for convenience. I personally recommend trying the butter cakes. The complex is clean, provides many seats for dining and lounging, and is easily accessible for truckers and regular traffic alike.

I stopped in for a salted pretzel and lemonade. I have to commend the Maryland House Travel Plaza for their dog park and their efforts to make the park attractive to dogs by putting a fire hydrant before the dog park entry. They have charging stations for electric vehicles and even thought of the kids and teenagers by adding toy gaming and a photo booth. There were many cool items in the store. Next time I stop in, I will try Phillip's Seafood and a chair massage.

This rest stop gave me anxiety. The line for the Dunkin was outrageous and spilled into the aisle so that was a nope for me. I went over to Auntie Anne's and the girl said "we're not open yet, like...10 minutes" (mind you, it's like noon) and a lady nearby told me she had said "15 minutes" 15 minutes ago. So that was no luck. Grabbed a boring beverage and waited in the long line to buy it from the convenience store. Decided to go to the burrito place which was surprisingly delicious, but they were out of a few ingredients. Pros: ample seating, clean bathrooms.

Clean plenty of parking and you can walk the dog. A few food options including Dunkin’ Donuts etc. Bathrooms are clean. Got gas here as well (just outside B’More and is much safer!). Gas stations on both sides. Been here before and never had a problem.

The place and facilities are clean. Unfortunately there are not healthy options to eat and everything seems overpriced.

This location is pretty good with plenty of space for the customers. Restrooms are okay so far. Cleanliness is acceptable. However, stores are struggling with less manpower and long waiting line of customers. It took almost an hour to serve my order at Wendy’s. Staff are friendly and helpful and long waiting is not at all their fault! I hope the owners will look into it.

Summary - Maryland House Travel Plaza proved to be a convenient stop for my late-night travel needs. The restrooms were clean, the food options were satisfactory, and the service provided was efficient. While there were minor areas for improvement in terms of maintenance and cleanliness, overall, it fulfilled its purpose as a convenient travel plaza along the highway. I would recommend it to fellow travelers, but as with any establishment, it's always a good idea to check the latest reviews for any updates or changes.Details version - I recently had the opportunity to visit Maryland House Travel Plaza during a late-night journey along the highway, and I must say it served as a convenient stop for my travel needs. Here's my review based on the amenities and services available:The restrooms at Maryland House Travel Plaza were clean and well-maintained. Despite the late hour, there were multiple restrooms available, ensuring minimal waiting times. However, I did notice a few maintenance issues, such as broken fixtures, which could be improved. When it came to food options, the plaza offered a decent variety. Fast food chains dominated the scene, but there were also a few sit-down restaurants available. The quality of the food was satisfactory, considering the late-night hours. However, it would have been great to see more options for those seeking healthier or vegetarian choices. The service quality at Maryland House Travel Plaza was commendable. The staff members were courteous and efficient, handling orders promptly. Despite the late hour and the potential rush of customers, they remained attentive and helpful. However, there were a few instances where the service felt slightly rushed, likely due to the high demand during peak travel times. In terms of cleanliness and maintenance, the overall condition of the plaza was reasonable. It appeared to be adequately clean, but there were some areas that showed signs of wear and tear. While the parking area seemed well-maintained, a few dining areas could benefit from more thorough cleaning. Nevertheless, the staff seemed proactive in addressing any cleanliness issues that were brought to their attention.

Prices are insanely high. You're better off taking an exit before or after and buying food locally at reasonable rates.

Maryland House travel plaza is one of the best and well maintained plazas in NJ - MD route. They have huge parking lots and plenty of electric and Tesla charging points. The plaza has quite a few number of food options. For coffee it’s Dunkin’ donut. However, the price of everything is very high. Dippin dots one small cup is 6$ !! The general status chips coffee etc are all double the regular price. Also for coffee was bad ! I am taking one star away for that. The place has a Sunoco gas station.

The standards have seemed to dropped at this rest stop. Although workers was cleaning the outside to make this place look beautiful, it felt like a bait and switch! The restrooms was under service, many items broken and closed off.Only 1 store (Dunkin Donuts) was open.Just drive past unless you really have to stop!Update 12/22/23They have charging stations for electric cars, have made some changes for the better however part of the lot for some reason was coned off.Rating lifted from 1 star to 4 stars..Please keep making improvements.

Huge rest stop with tons of parking. Trash was full but not overflowing (yet). Facility was large and bright. Food vendors seemed well staffed for a holiday weekend. It won’t take much effort for this location to jump to 5 stars.

Stopped in on the way to New York. It was my first time (for both visits) and I was fairly impressed! Bathrooms were very clean on my visit and food lines moved fast. There is a gas station here as well, so it is very convenient! Looking forward to stopping in again!

Travelling on I95 from Maryland, close to Delaware, you find a very modernized, clean rest stop with several restaurants, shops and rest rooms (of course gas also). Food includes Dunkin Donuts, Phillips, hot dogs, a store for snacks and lottery machines.Compared to other rest stops this is one of the best.

My bathroom experience was alright in the men’s: clean toilet and ample soap, but my girlfriend said the first stall she walked into had a big pile of poop. Another friend said, the first stall wouldn’t lock in the the women’s restroom but otherwise the women’s restroom was alright. Yet another friend, noted that there was active cleaning with a man mopping. Probably to keep up with the busy foot traffic. Last friend sat down in the men’s to try to squeeze a little poop out, and said the bathroom was safe: father and daughter left the restroom safely. Minimal visibility through the stalls. Overall, acceptable experience; what you’d expect.

Just about as average as you can get. The rest stop has many fast food restaurants but most of them were closed when we arrived. As for the restrooms, it was easy for me because I was just in and out. My wife however had to wait for a little to get to her turn. For me, the men's room was decent and clean. Not so much for the lady's room according to my wife.A little grass area so our fit babies can do their business. Other than that and the gas station, there is nothing special about it. I'd stop by if you really need to use the bathroom or if you're low on gas.

it was, clean, well lit, and busy. I didn't have to wait for a stall in the bathroom. There are plenty of food choices. There are massage chairs, though I didn't check to see if they were working or well-maintained. Also, there's plenty of parking. Overall a good stop to relieve, replenish and have a good stretch.
