Better prices on most things than you can find around town. The workers are awesome! Produce quality is hit or miss, we end up going to Shop Rite for produce rather often. If you drink soda, it’s commonly cheaper at Walmart. Most everything else, we get at the commissary.

DO NOT LET THE SMOOTH TASTE FOOL YOU. You think you are really saving money by shopping here but in reality you are being charged just as much if not MORE than local stores. Next time you check out , look at the SURCHARGE !! I was charged 37 cents on some coffee that was 6.70. I asked what that is for and was told to "Keep the lights on and keep the aisles looking nice" but nobody really can tell you. . Only thing you are saving is a trip to Walmart but they are even cheaper.

Excellent supply of all the Thanksgiving meal fixings. Fresh and frozen turkeys.lots of fresh vegetables and fruit. Prices are unbeatable. Store is organized ,clean. Check out has plenty of friendly staff so no waiting in line at the register.

Exceptional staff! Very professional and friendly. They even called to let us know an item we were looking for had come in. We enjoy shopping in the clean and well organized facility.

The store was very clean very inviting soon as you walk in everything was on sale and even if it wasn’t, it was damn sure worth the price the bags was legit it wasn’t paper thin like any of your local grocery stores and I’ll be back ✊🏾

1st time going to the commissary in probably about 10 years. The selection is very nice and the prices are reasonable. The gentleman at the checkout was super accommodating and helped us very much. We will definitely come back on another day when we have more time to shop but so far what we've seen is very nice.

Had a manager come to self checkout to stare at us while checking out. I looked up and had eye contact that looked directly in my soul. If we are on base, it should not be any curiosity to see if we were doing something bad.

Always Clean, staff are kind and seem to like their jobs. They have quality food and a nice selection, just not a wide variety. They have a Deli but not a bakery. Personal care products are limited. Frozen Food variety is nice, you can always find something out of the ordinary. However, be careful, a lot of foods are freezer burnt.

People are nicer on base but they have some guy working in the deli and im not sure if he can do his job efficiently because of his size. A lady there did write on a cake for me though and looked good. The rest of the store seemed like something out of the late 80s

Always happy with the commissary. I rated it lower because some favorite items are no longer available. Some spices aren't available. Fruit is vary in quality.

Good sized for the base it supports. Staff is friendly and the place is clean. Selection of food is not bad but due to overall size you may not find everything you would at a larger base's commissary.

Fantastic prices and typically very outstanding customer service. Selection is limited but, for the great prices, this is an acceptable situation in our opinion. The only actual negative and reason for 4 stars is the pretty pitiful produce section. Despite the fact that the Army's top food quality specialists are based at APG, for reasons far beyond the control of these individuals, and I am sure much to their consternation, this commissary has a generally very poor produce section. This is, again, not really so much because of the limited selection (again, for great prices we are OK with that) but rather bc of the generally poor quality. Such a shame because in all other aspects this activity is a great benefit to the APG community. Thanks to all the folks there who are so consistently pleasant!
