Great store I love to pick up my groceries at. I was told about about some reviews and decided to try the delivery service.I did not receive a mean lady or a couple but I did have a woman show up with her children 😆Not sure how professional that is but to me is a major turn off and seems Lazy.I get it, daycare is expensive however there are many stay at home jobs you can pick up to work while you babysit your children and still allow the company to remain professional.I am not against kids at all but even a teacher will admit, Kids are disgusting. I am sorry, I personally like to sterilize everything about me after I watch someone's children and they belong nowhere near Food deliveries! Unprofessional and just disgusting! Where are their hands going?It is honestly quite shocking to me that any food anything would want children's hands on or near customers food.There are plenty of people willing to work and leave their kids at home.

The employees here work so hard and are always so helpful and pleasant! From Hannaford to go-to meat-to produce and then cashiers and baggers (and any dept I missed) they're all so nice and helpful. Very grateful for them!

After being made aware of experiences a friend and his grandmother within the last few weeks while ordering from this hannaford I decided to place an order.I said "Hey! I had no idea you could hang out and do instacart together!" Acted like nothing mattered and it was Cool and was made aware that I should be grateful I'm getting groceries...So even if you're actually friendly to these two they'll still cuss you out. I'm just assuming these are the same people considering I highly doubt the majority of drivers are hanging out and cussing people out together. If somebody really affects your morning that bad you should stay home versus going and affecting other people's lives while delivering their food.I Also reached out to instacart anonymously and did not mention the nasty attitudes on the shoppers, I asked if multiple people show up are they all background checked. Instacart was very set in stone on absolutely not and this should be reported immediately so they're not held liable for anything.Apparently according to instacart they used to allow Duo Shoppers for a shoppers first 20 batches then they would be disconnected from each other. There was never in the history of instacart a time (according to instacart themselves)where you could bring Friends Partners or even newborn babies and children along. They went into great detail on this and the reasoning why background checks matter to keep instacart in business.I learned a lot about the competitive nature of the job and how individuals work very hard at everyday, leaving no exceptions for these people cheating the system and risking other people's livelihoods. It really makes a lot of sense! Why would people be driving together when they could have their own separate accounts and be working separately?I am going to be ordering again with a camera setup. Not really sure who's going to be responsible for the outcome, Hannaford or instacart. I'm going to have to say Hannaford considering they're the ones who are supposed to be enforcing contracts for instacart.I've called around to several other Hannaford's who have to go and none of them can relate to the situation. This seems to be a York Hannaford situation

Put simply, my grandmother ordered groceries here the other day, she was told a kind woman would be delivering to her, however, a woman showed up with men who decided to verbally insult my grandmother by calling her a ****** *****(female dog in other terms) just for mentioning how many people there were. These weren't your average teenage doordashers or instacarters either, this was a middle-aged woman probably in her 50s and I will assume her husband and others.She's not a ****** *****, she lives alone in the middle of nowhere is over 80 years old and was told a woman who was supposedly background checked with a name would be showing up. What she received was a woman with a group of men who were as Unprofessional as it gets.I want to ask Hannaford Togo a question, why does instacart background check people for you? Why does instacart tell kind old ladies in the middle of nowhere who's going to be bringing their groceries is Safe and then you guys decide to send unvetted strangers?This is not just a concern for a single old lady this is a concern for the community as a whole! If somebody who's vetted through instacart decides to take advantage of someone, we know exactly who they are! We have all of their information. If Hannaford to go decides to send even that instacart or with some stranger in their car, boyfriend girlfriend group of friends in the backseat, they could do whatever they want to whoever they want and be completely unknown.I've reached out anonymously to instacart about this and they have informed me that you're not even allowed to bring someone with you to help carry heavy things because it is directly in the contract you signed saying you can carry heavy things without assistance. Therefore, why is Hannaford sending a bunch of strangers with these delivery drivers to harass old ladies in the middle of the woods?I can guarantee everyone that has read this that these people have done this to many more old woman. There is no questions! My Grandma has a voice whereas most do not! I am going to assume that majority of the customers for Hannaford to go are probably elderly, especially considering Maine has the highest average age in the country. This screams elder abuse to me!We are not ordering from Hannaford again. After many years of ordering from Hannaford, even before they did deliveries we were getting them, we are not ordering again. Big, impressive. Smaller than Exeter, NH. About the same size as Hampton, NH. I didn't see a section that sells cooked or prepared food, but, I didn't have time to fully explore. Reasonable size produce section with a good variety. RedBOX and Wifi available. Very busy inside. Friendly service at register. Iphone/Android pay accepted. Some of the prices are comparable to Market Basket.Facemasks required inside.

We come here when we vacation in Ogunquit. Although this Hannaford is further away from us than the one in Wells, it's easier to get to, and the parking lot is never an issue.The store is very clean and has a very nice selection. Definitely more upscale than some other locations.

It's a grocery store and does what a grocery store does and they do it well! Good pre-made foods as well and sushi!Update- still solid, .imus one star however since I go in expecting to purchase about $100 in items and walk out paying $300.

Their fresh made pizza sauce SUCKS it is watery and gross and ruined my entire pizza. By ruin I mean it made it so wet and soggy it completely stuck and the sauce was floating like grease on top. Nasty.

My go to neighborhood grocery store and pharmacy. The staff is great and the store is well stocked, except for Summer weekends when the vacationers descend. Get your shopping done early in the week and you'll be fine.

As a loyal customer who shops at the York Hannaford on a regular basis... why do you have to take advantage of locals and charge so much for everything in your store? An example- pumpkins were two for $10.00 and then right before Halloween you raise the price to $6.99 for one pumpkin. Can't you give our young families a break and help them out to enjoy the fall! I'm disappointed in your management. Let's make some positive changes to support our families in town!!

I would like to give a nice complement to the management and staff of your Supermarket. I vacation in York ME 3 to 4 times a year. While here at York Harbor Inn I alway purchase flowers from your store and food. So all I can say you have the greatest flowers and products. Thanks for the great job. Just bought these 4/14/22

We were on vacation spring the off season, came here later at night looking for a very odd assortment of items worth almost none of them being actual groceries, and to our surprise, we found every single thing we needed. The staff is awesome. The people with me were all in super silly moods and so were the employees, it made for a good time. The store is well stocked, clean, well lit and in a very convenient location. The store setup is easy to follow, and the prices were considerably less expensive than what we are used to paying, though I'm not sure how it stacks up against other grocery stores in the same area. All in all a great experience!

For the most part you'll find helpful workers here. The pharmacy is especially attentive. In York they have a drive through pharmacy window.This store offers online shopping with curbside pickup.This curbside pickup and pharmacy window make for great convenience, especially for injuries and disabilities. There are signs that direct you to the curbside car lanes.They have a great selection of wines. The store is busy especially around the weekends.Handicap parking is plentiful.

One of my personal favorite grocery stores. A great selection of fresh produce is always available, along with an impressive bakery and deli. Hannaford also is fortunate to have excellent employees, who provide top notch customer service in all departments.
