For over a year now, we've entrusted our pup, Marlo, to the caring team at Magic of Paws, and we can't praise their dedicated staff enough. Whether we're boarding him for a single night or an extended stay of 18 days (yes, this has happened!), Marlo just loves every minute at Magic of Paws, as seen by his excitement every time we pull over.One of the things we love about Magic of Paws is the daily report cards and photo updates we receive. These not only brighten our day but also provide us with peace of mind. It's a stark contrast to our previous experiences with another doggie day care facility in Portland.Their ability to focus on quality care is unparalleled. Unlike other places, they don't jam countless dogs in one place in order to make a profit. They really focus on each pup's personality and work around it. A little late but I wanted to thank the crew at Magic of Paws for taking care of my cats, Kiki and Tiger. We are new to the area with work schedules not conducive to the hours of operation for drop off/pick up for many cat boarding facilities in the area. I'm so glad I found Magic of Paws. They took wonderful care of my babies and I loved the daily report card included with their stay. I won't hesitate to board my babies with them again and highly recommend Magic of Paws to anyone needing to board the kitties.UPDATE: I’ve used Magic of Paws a few more times since my review. I had to travel out of state and was gone during the wind/rain storm and flooding on 12/18. Tiger is difficult to handle when she’s away from home but I want to thank the staff of Magic of Paws for taking care of Kiki and Tiger and keeping them safe when I wasn’t able to be there for them.

Magic of Paws is really outstanding. My partner’s family lives in Cape Cod so we are going down there every few months for multiple nights. It’s heartbreaking to have to leave your animals behind, but I worry so much less because of Magic of Paws. When I go to check in on them and see report cards with pictures where my cats are cuddling on the Magic of Paws caretaker/Nyssa, it is the sweetest feeling. Thank you so much Magic of Paws. If you could use a service like this, you need to use Magic of Paws. Unbelievably reliable, trustworthy, caring people.

Most reasonable prices in the area in addition to having the nicest, most knowledgeable staff. They have a groomer who is also fantastic. My dog loves going here ❤️

We boarded our cat at Magic of Paws for one week while on vacation. You can tell the staff at Magic of Paws really care about the animals they are taking care of. The daily report cards we got when our kitty was staying there gave us peace of mind while on our trip. I understand that Magic of Paws is primarily a dogs place but we chose to board our cat there based on the amazing reviews and we are overall happy with our choice. The reason why I am not giving 5 stars is based on the state of the cat overnight boarding space. When we dropped off our boy we were able to bring him up to the cattery to say goodbye. Upon walking into the cat space we were hit with an awful smell- it smelt like the space hadn’t been cleaned in months. The office next to the cat space was filthy with trash all over the floor (this room appeared to be some kind of office). The space for cats has tons of fun things for cats to play with including a running wheel and awesome posts to scratch and high perches to climb and relax on. if the cattery was better taken care of, I would be giving 5 stars. In summary we are very pleased with the care our boy received while at Magic of Paws. Every staff member I encountered or spoke to was helpful and friendly. Our boy arrived home relaxed and happy confirming he had a good time making new friends and exploring a new place!

Clearly, this place is a lot of fun. My puppy has had positive experiences with humans and canines alike - the staff members at Magic of Paws are very pet-centered, friendly, and patient. They are a major part of why she is a well-adjusted, happy pup!

The staff is Kind, helpful and definitely animal lovers. They are so flexible to work with our worlds Crazy schedules. now my Jackson’s first ever experience with doggy daycare and I was recommended by a vet to go there and he loves it and I’ve already booked an overnight ., they send pictures and let you know how he went on his day with a little report card. I’m so excited to be a part of the magic of 🐾 paws ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

From the first phone call I made to Magic of Paws, I was excited to bring my dog to be cared for here. We have an 80ish lb, 17 month old Doberman, and he’d never been able to play with other dogs at another facility, because he’s still in tact. The fact that he was able to socialize off leash with other dogs with similar temperament and size makes my heart so happy. He loves people and other dogs, but doesn’t get to experience off leash freedom at home. He was very tired after his first day of doggy daycare. And we are looking forward to experiencing some of the other services that Magic of Paws has to offer. Thank you so much for making us feel so comfortable!

Our new puppy has been going here once a week for about a month. We wanted her to have a familiar place to stay when we go on vacation. She really seems to have a great time and is always excited when we pull in. Everyone one is so nice and always willing to answer any questions. I love the ease of booking with the app and they always get back to you when you text them with any questions. I really enjoy the report card and pictures you get after pick up. We used their grooming services last week and were very happy. Property is beautiful and I'm glad we found such a nice place for her to go.

Hi, Magic of Paws took care of my cat Calvin (a 7 year old Singapura) from about two weeks while we were away and they did a great job. They gave me regular feedback, and most importantly him regular attention and the daily supplements plus watched his eye condition and gave him a prescribed eye ointment as needed. They petted him and held him in their lap, which he loves and needs. They sent me regular periodic pictures that we loved and needed. :-). I would have no hesitation to return and am happy to let others know that Magic of Paws is a great place for boarding cats.

We took our 2 rescue dogs to Magic of Paws for day care while we attended a family funeral. Neither dog had ever been to day care, or been boarded in a kennel, and I was worried about how they would handle the experience. Nyssa was very reassuring when we dropped them off, and they didn't even seem to notice when we left. 5 hours later, we picked up 2 very tired, apparently happy dogs. Getting a report card on their stay was a nice touch.We won't hesitate to use Magic of Paws again!

We are away for 4 nights and Nyssa has been watching both of our cats by doing in home visits twice a day. Our timid/ previously feral cats LOVE her! They are usually wary of strangers but they seem to be very comfortable around her and they have both allowed her to pet them, which is rare for a new person. I think her energy is amazing and putting them at ease. We can see in the pics that they are happy and it is allowing us to enjoy our vacation knowing that our kitties are happy and in great hands!!!

We were so nervous about leaving our rescue dog at a kennel, but Nyssa and the staff took great care of Chewie and sent frequent report cards with photos so we knew he was adjusting and even interacting positively with other dogs in playgroups (a big concern since he is sometimes reactive around other dogs). We were able to enjoy our vacation and come home to a happy and freshly bathed dog! We highly recommend Magic of Paws!

We cannot say enough amazing things about Magic of Paws!! We have been sending our very nervous rescue, Benny, to day care, and then a week of boarding- our first time ever boarding him.The entire team met him (and us!) with such kindness and patience. I cannot say enough good things about my experiences with Magic of Paws! I welcomed a rescue dog into my home 3 weeks ago and they have been there to support her since the start. They have helped Honey continue to build confidence and trust through her midday visits and she just completed her first day of daycare which was a huge success! I cannot express the gratitude we have for Nick, Nyssa, Bob and all the staff at Magic of Paws. Our pup absolutely LOVES going to play and they take such great care of our goofy blockhead yellow lab, Bauer! We are unable to fix our guy until he reaches 18 months to 2yrs and they are able to accommodate us and he was able to start as a young pup as well ! Highly recommended!

I couldn’t have found a better daycare to watch my puppy for 6 days/week for a month. I was here on business and didn’t want to board him back home. I found this place with exceptionally convenient hours. They are extremely accommodating as my puppy is 6 months and they had no issue feeding him twice a day for me. I love receiving their report card at the end of each visit. Although I am not with my puppy all day, I love that they take pictures to show me how much fun he’s had. The prices are reasonable and I love that it didn’t matter if it was a holiday or weekend. They are open every single day rain or snow. You can tell they work very hard to maintain such a good business. After dropping off my pup so many times I believed I have meant every staff member and I can happily say each and every worker was polite, kind, and welcoming. They gladly answered any questions I had and always treated my puppy with kindness. I can tell by how excited my puppy is walking in the door that he is treated very well here. I would gladly drive how ever far to make sure my puppy gets the best care. Thank you for caring for Rio! We’ll be back in the future.

I was looking for a daycare that treated my dogs like they would their own. After having a bad experience with another daycare I was a little hesitant. But my girls love it at Magic of Paws, I toured the facility, their behavior at this daycare has gotten so much better and the staff understands my concerns. It's an awesome facility and the fact that my girls are happy there says it all! Plus, I get report cards!

Magic of Paws is truly a magical little spot tucked away on a beautiful property. All the staff there were so friendly and welcoming to my little Ruby. When they are done being groomed they don’t go into a kennel, they get to hang out with Karen the groomer... who is so sweet! It’s also a doggie daycare which we will definitely be using in the future. We are new to the area and thankful to find a groomer who will take good care of my pups.

My dog had her first day today, they took such good care of her, (she can be timid at first but they helped her fit right in!) she was happy and tired when I picked her up. Magic of Paws is great . There’s not any other services in the area that offer to pick your dog up from your house and bring them to dog daycare. This is great for people who go to work early in the morning. This place helped my dog Frankie come out of her shell! She was a very very scared and timid puppy when we got her and within a couple months her doggy social skills were much better. They are flexible and always available to answer questions.

We boarded our cat for two nights. I called around, Magic of Paws was the best price by over $10/night. I wasn't expecting much... just a low cost boarding option.They sent what they call a "report card" each day. It contained photos of our pet, as well as some notes about her mood and what she had done that day. That was a nice touch. I'll definitely use their services again.

Magic of Paws is an amazing service! Their prices are extremely reasonable and their staff are kind and professional. They just watched my two cats for a week and it was an amazing experience. Before we left they came to learn our pets routines. They sent email updates after each visit with pictures that made leaving my babies a little easier. Checked in our two furry beasts for a first-ever boarding experience…a trial run overnighted. Dorothy was very reassuring, and checked our anxious pups in for the night. She was very communicative, and super flexible when we had to reschedule due to weather. Pictures of the pups were posted before bedtime, and all went without a hitch. Report cards were spot on and welcome.We will be back.
