absolutely exquisite stationery shop! this cozy little unassuming store is packed to the rafters with all kinds of papers, pens, notebooks, ribbons, and anything else you need to populate your home office. Plus there are several japanese stationery imports that are so clever and interesting to look at. I thought the prices were very affordable for the area and was able to pick up several gifts for my friends. Lastly the service was spectacular, the retailers werent pushy or overly familiar to get a sale, they simply help you find what you need and answer your questions!

This is one of my favorite stores not only in Maine but anywhere. Everything is so beautifully arranged and the selection is stunning. Great stationary, small tabletop items, and lovely handmade jewelry. I always find something here. A must stop on our annual trip up the Maine coast.

This is my favorite store of all Maine stores: small, but comprehensively exquisite in the artistry of its selection and arrangement of beautiful things: imported small pieces of glassware, Japanese China and pottery pieces hand thrown in Maine, sculptural spoons and utensils, hand made papers and lovely ribbons available by the yard, in a rainbow of colors and patterns, toys, cards, and some of the loveliest and most artful jewelry available in the state. All is gathered together with a practiced artist’s eye. It is a delight just to walk in the door - and in summer, the shop’s exterior window boxes outdoor fetch a blue ribbon in a botanical garden show!
