Friends recommended this lovely place and we are so happy we stayed here for 2 days. A quiet sleepy town away from the crowds in Bar Harbor but a perfectly beautiful drive to visit there. Our room, the Blueberry Room was so comfortable, clean and cozy. Our hostess Anne was so helpful with ideas of places to see. A wonderful breakfast and coffee too. The inn was a great place with all the amenities needed to sit back and enjoy a peaceful evening after a long day of sightseeing.

Absolutely perfect experience!!! Our daughter got married in Winterport and we were able to rent the entire place for the weekend. Anne was exactly what an Inn Keeper should be...very accommodating, sincere, friendly and greeted all guests. Easy secured access and the rooms are very clean, and done on a daily basis (loved the chocolates on the bed). Then the breakfast...DELICIOUS and a great array of fresh fruit, homemade muffins and home cooking for the hardier appetites. Made the weekend so less stressful. Definitely plan a return trip.THANK YOU so very much. Tina Libby

Amazing! I just love that you can come late and let yourself in if you need, without bothering the staff. (I always feel guilty coming late, especially to a B&B, but you can't control traffic!) I LOVE all the antique stuff decorating the rooms. I'm in love with the vintage embroidered bedding too! I'm thankful for the window AC which honestly works better than most big chain hotels! (Seriously they never get cold enough imho!) There's a pizza place and a tea shop across the road and a gas station down the street so it's a very convenient location that was easy to find! They provided a selection of drinks in the shared fridge for the night too! Breakfast was amazing as the hosts cooked us cinnamon French toast! They also had a selection of other items out that you could grab! I've included photos! We stayed in the Blueberry room!Oh I almost forgot! My SO had an emergency at almost 10pm and had to call Ann to request tape to MacGyver his medical device until we could buy a replacement part tomorrow and she came in clutch! She didn't have to go look at almost 10pm but she did and it made a world of difference!! Thank you!!

Annette takes excellent care of guests- hot breakfast, homemade muffins with local berries, locally roasted coffee. Rooms are charming and spotless with a full bathroom. Good location to reach Bangor and Bar Harbor

I had a perfect stay here! This was my first time to stay in Bed and Breakfast! This is very clean comfortable house and with good antique furnitures were sooo good!!! The room is with clean linen bed, clean bathroom and air conditioner!! So comfortable!! When I arrived, the mom Ann was out of the house so the paper with key code to enter was in the entrance post. This is located in very calm and quiet area. You don’t worry about dinner, because just in front over a road there are a cafe and pizza restaurant. I took pizza out of the restaurant!! Especially I love this breakfast!! Of course you can enjoy good American style breakfast and besides Ann served a good quiche just from the kitchen!! This is the most delicious one for me!! And her original apple muffin was very delicious too, so I took one for my snack time. This house is very comfortable to relax!!! I stayed just 1 night but I had a perfect good time! I highly recommend to stay!!!

Antique shop is one of a kind! They have a beautiful selection of furniture pieces that you just don't find anymore. The lighting is fairly priced and a joy to admire. I personally had 2 antique lights repaired and updated here and I could not be more pleased! Both lights were missing critical pieces and some how he made other salvaged pieces fit. Thank you again, we will be back!

We arrived later than anticipated but everything was set up so that we could gain entry and get settled in. The building is charming what with its age, antique furnishings and easy access. Our hosts, who are lovely people, made us feel very welcome. The following morning we were served a filling breakfast before starting our day. My wife and I are book, antiques and ephemera collectors and as guests, had early access to the antique shop on the ground floor where we spend quite a bit of time. All in all, a great place to stay.

We stayed here for one night and had no idea what to expect. We definitely were not expecting home made omelettes and other wonderful breakfast offerings and a lovely chat with the owner. We also got lost in the antique store for an hour or so. Wonderful overall experience.

Avoid like the plague!!I was severely mistreated by the hostess, Ann. She berated me and treated me like a criminal.here is some background; After driving 12 hours from VA on the way to Bar Harbor decided to rest here for the night. called to book room and gave them credit card. Checked in an hour later, dropped off my stuff in the room, put my dying phone to charge, got my camera and went out to explore the neighborhood with sister. returned 30 minutes later and this is when I encountered the very angry hostess. My credit card apparently was declined (she said she tried twice) but her reaction was extremely hostile. She yelled at me, berated me and insinuated that I was trying to get a free stay..I thought I was in a twilight zone, I have never been treated so badly before. I maintained my composure and pulled up my account on my phone. My statement reflected that she withdrew money then refunded it. I have several debit and credit cards. I gave her another one and she charged it...didn't apologize and acted self righteously, telling me, "I have to cover my ass in this business, you need to understand where I am coming from" ...My sister ended up staying because we were exhausted, but it really soured the trip for that night. The bed as uncomfortable and the rancid moldy smell of the room was awful. It was awful. We left at 6 am, soon as the sun came up.This taught me a valuable lesson..to NEVER stray from AirBnB, where my previous host give me stellar reviews and treat me with dignity and respect. GO ELSEWHERE

The location and price are perfect to take in several hot spots around Maine. The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great too! Our room did not have a tv but they did have free wi-fi, this did not bother us.

Exceptional antique store that has a massive variety of antiques and collectibles. I myself picked an old fantasy novel that had illustrations throughout. It has a lovely atmosphere inside and the staff were above and beyond in the service they provided. Great job!
