The women in the pharmacy who seems to always be there mid afternoon when pick up my prescriptions… “I wish I knew her name.”She sometimes makes my day. I drive away happy that there are still kind people in the world. She’s always pleasant, patient, and bubbly.

The two women on the night shift had a very bad attitude. They didn't give receipts when I bought something. I found out the price was wrong five minutes later and went back to return the item. They kept asking me for receipts. Their attitude was very bad. It's unfortunate for this store to have such employees.

I know there have been many negative reviews of this location but the interaction I had yesterday made me want to write a review, which I don’t do often.I had a refill due which was filled in a timely manner, but before I went in to pick it up, I wanted to be sure the manufacturer was the same as my last prescription (since I have some side effects to this medication with other manufacturers). So I called in, and the guy who I spoke with was not only professional and quick to respond to my request, but he was extremely kind and made me feel that my request was important, not a bother.When I picked up my prescription, he remembered me and again, was very efficient, and kind. I’m sure he was very busy, but he made sure I got what I requested and was nice at the same time.I don’t recall his name, but he made this experience one of the best I’ve had with a business in a long time. I hope he sticks around.

worst pharmacy ever! i find it often closed when it is supposed to be open, earlier this year they were closed for well over a month. unreliable place for such necessities as medication! the sign i attached was up for over a month and did not reopen when it stated it was supposed to.

HORRIBLE experience on 1-19-23. A young women working the Pharmacy Desk gave me a Very hard time , acting judgmental , attitude etc etc.Asking me to repeat Private information in a public area, wich all info is lusted on the screen. She acted like she couldn’t dispense my medication. When I said I’d text mu Dr. To have them contact the pharmacy , things started to turn around , Except for her attitude. Just so rude.It’s unfortunate the time prior a Very nice older women working the drive Thru was exceptionally Great to del with. Very efficient knowledgeable etc etc.That women should be dealing with the public Not the “ young judge-mental one “When all was said and done I said “ thank you “. She just had a “ stank aggravated look on her face and said nothing walked away.”IGNORANT, is a great word for her. HOW SHE HAS A JOB is beyond my mental capacity.

Terrible experience at this store and see not the only one. Drove 35 minutes for scheduled C-19 booster to find the pharmacy closed. Back to square one on finding a booster appointment. Asked manager “Jenica” about why closed she curtly explained “there is one pharmacist for 18 stores and that pharmacist has Covid.” (I guess for weeks based on similar reviews.) But can’t they call people to cancel rather than sending reminders to come? No, “like I said, 1 pharmacist and 18 stores, and only that 1 pharmacist has the key to the room with the appointment schedule.” Walgreens, If you can’t hire enough pharmacists don’t make appointments, or at least figure out how to let people know their appointment is canceled, or at very least hire managers with people skills.

I was going to leave a 1 star review. I had a pharmacy appointment (made 2 weeks in advance) for a covid booster and on the day of the appointment the pharmacy department shut down (not sure why), but they didn't call or email me so I showed up. I had also taken off work. I spoke with the shift leader and manager who didn't care about me or my issue very much, and they directed me to go on the app and sign up for another appointment, although there were no appointments for at least 2-3 weeks.Then finally the next day an employee at the pharmacy, Dakota, heard me and respected me as a human being and helped me out. So I'm going to leave a 4 star review with the hope that you'll try to be more like Dakota. And give Dakota a raise. But if you treat people like I was treated before Dakota came along, you're going to get all the 1 star reviews people have been leaving here.

This is the worst pharmacy in the state. It is never open, the staff are completely unprofessional, and I was racially profiled. Will never return here again

I have nothing but trouble from their pharmacy. I'm done with them and the Walgreens app. Do not recommend this pharmacy. They lose your orders, cancel them for no reason without notice, and close on days when they are not supposed to be closed. (They'll stick a sign up directing you to the closest Walgreens but then cross it out.) So I've been left without a medication I need too many times. This was the last time,, I'm transferring to a different pharmacy.

Probably the worst pharmacy in Maine. Fill prescriptions that have been cancelled and don’t fill the ones that are due. Never process both of our insurances unless we ask and then they are not done until we get there. After waiting for 30 minutes while clerk tried to figure out secondary insurance and couldn’t, was rTold to drive around to the back of the line so they could help others behind me. Three cars now ahead of me and they’re not getting any faster service than I did. Changing to another pharmacy.

I would NOT recommend this pharmacy. I have always used Walgreens while living in Portland so when I moved closer to the Windham Walgreens pharmacy I happily transferred my prescriptions. However, I have encountered nothing but problems. First, it takes hours and or days to reach anyone and when you finally do they are never kind nor apologetic. Second, when I finally do get a prescription refilled I am then waiting in line for half the day as well. Although, this last encounter was the final straw and very unfortunate - especially when people are in a true need of most of their prescriptions since their health relies on them. I hadn't been able to get a hold of anyone over the phone for the last week and I learned that they had been closed. When I learned they had re-opened I figured they would be busy so I renewed my prescriptions through their automated system. The next day I got a text message alert on my phone reporting that my prescription was ready for pick up. I drove over later that evening only to learn that they did not have anything ready for me at all. I showed them the text message that I had received and the young blonde, annoyed, asked me for my information again and said that they still did not show anything under that name and information . I further asked why I was sent a notification alerting me that I could pick u my prescription. She responded by stating that the notification system was a universal program and it alerts you when a prescription SHOULD be ready, not when it actually IS ready. I was surprised by this statement and then I waited expecting for her to apologize and put in my prescription then in person. Neither one of those things happened. After a moment of silence I just said ok and drove off frustrated and disgusted with the service I had just received. As a teacher of young children in a public school setting during a pandemic I can certainly sympathize with being short staffed, sick and or very behind with the general day to day job duties. However, I always treat everyone with kindness and respect and attempt to keep up the best of my teaching abilities. I will always PUT PEOPLE FIRST. However, the Walgreens in Windham certainly does not! I highly recommend taking your prescriptions to be refilled elsewhere. Upon calling the Hannaford pharmacy in Windham they shared that they wouldn't even be able to contact Walgreens in Windham for me because they too can never get a hold of anyone and that I'll have to have my doctor send over the prescription. Hannaford answered their phone call on the first try, shared helpful information, and will have my prescription ready within the day. I hope this information was helpful to those considering this pharmacy.

Scheduled for A COVID booster shot for two weeks. They called an cancelled night before my appointment. They would not reschedule me on the phone. Made me go back into third party on line scheduling. NOW THERE ARE NO APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE IN SOUTHERN MAINE. I am in a high risk category. They didn’t care.

I am very disappointed with the photo department. This year is the first year I have done photo Christmas cards in years. It has been a big disappointment! I pick up the cards and they where all cut badly. The top of a head was cut off. Some of the bottom of the cards where not cut straight. The woman at the photo department said that the cutting machine was down and someone had to cut them by hand. Who ever did didn't know what they where doing or just didn't care. The woman at the photo department said that they couldn't print them over because my order was already deleted. They only keep them in the system for two days. They said they would give them to me for free. I said I would take them and try to straighten them out. I get them home fix up the ones I could and then go to address the envelopes and the return addresses that Walgreens put on where done on the front of the envelope! Really! What the heck! I am so disappointed! I have been using Walgreens photo department for many years and it has really gone down. Now I have to run back up the store and talk to someone about replacing my envelopes. I do not recommend this Walgreens in Windham for photo cards.

Scheduled COVID test completed 12/21. Still on 12/24 not showing received by the lab. Pharmacy closed 12/24, 25 and 26. Frustrating is qn understatement. No FedEx tracking info...and just annoying. If we were traveling for the holidays we would have been screwed.

I realize there is a problem with help however people rely on being able to pick up their prescriptions . Being closed 3 or 4 days is simply not acceptable . I do believe you could divide your employees better to serve the people who need these medicines . Seniors rely on you to provide them with these prescriptions . Sad very sad . I

I use their pharmacy, each person is very nice, the pharmacist manager is very nice, extremely helpful and they are an amazing pharmacy to use. If you have questions, never hesitate to call them, they will always be very helpful and are kind people.I recommend anyone who needs a pharmacy, needs the care behind it, this is the best place to go

Pharmacy was closed randomly one day when I had my covid booster scheduled. I was not contacted that this would occur or might occur. I then wasted over on a hour on hold with the closest pharmacy to see if I could head over and get my covid booster there only to be hung up on twice before I just reached a normal associate that went and asked for me.

I will be reaching out to this location and their district manager. Something extremely fishy is going on at this pharmacy.I’d say 9/10 times I go for Rx’s it’s not ready.Either their automated system is SEVERELY FLAWED in this location somehow or their pharmacist is pushing for things to seem complete when they are in fact NOT.Rx’s “cancelled”. Calls to see if an Rx IS complete and IS simply waiting for me only to be told they don’t have it.This is beyond short staffing due to the pandemic.Someone is up to something and they are either extremely incompetent or are doing something illegal here.Do not use this Walgreens.

Called to verify FedEx shipping info. Was told I could ship most anything under 50lb, and my just box needed “a label.” She didn’t specify that it needed to be a FedEx label, prepaid. Not helpful. This site only does FedEx dropoff/pickup

I would review a 0. Family member had a COVID-19 test on Wednesday, called on Saturday because still no results. They lost it. Couldn’t find it!Very Unorganized to say the least. I wouldn’t trust them with a prescription.

Today I came in for help for downloading or photo copying a receipt on my phone. This was a result of an Amizon purchase of exercise equipment. I needed the physical receipt in order to get reimbursed through my medicare provider. I encountered a super nice, knowledgeable and efficient Shawne the assistant manager working the photo shop. For a guy who is not overly capable of navigating his phone, she turned out to be the "saving grace"! Thanks Shawne!

You take your life in your hands if you have your prescriptions filled here. High school graduates with a few weeks training filling your prescriptions. Twice they have mislabeled my medication with incorrect instructions. Very scary too watch them work. Rushed, chaotic.

Literally have been waiting a half hour in the drive thru to pick up my prescription. I typically wait anywhere from 15-20 minutes each time with ONE car in front of me. I don’t know what the hell is going on inside, but if you can, take your prescription somewhere else.

Whenever I visit this place, I feel like I'm witnessing the collapse of the US healthcare system in real time. It's hard to blame the people working here, but I still wouldn't recommend choosing this place as your pharmacy if you can avoid it.
