I am sorry to have to give such a low rating. I finally went in there, only to be un-pleasantly surprised. Very "old school" but not in a good way 😕Needs a total re-make, at least inside, and brought up to the times. Not charming, as one would think!Hardly any cheeses !Apparently, it was once a cool place, with interesting characters working there. Things have changed!!

Love this place! Easy to find, big cheese looks a little rundown outside but inside it is so cool, lots of wine and beer, the sandwiches are fresh and delicious, the own is super kind, don't let the outside stop you from checking this place out, definite hidden gem

"WHATS UP SKIN!?" easily my favorite place to grab some lunch. I don't drink so I apologize to those seeking a review on the wine..but maaaaaan are those sandwiches delicious. Highly recommended if your in the area. (The owner is an absolute riot🤣, great people at this place)

I have been coming here for years. Great wine selection at decent prices. Yes, you can probably get the same deals at Hannaford which is down the street but, I really like supporting small businesses. The owner is fantastic and treats everyone like family. They also have a really great beer selection.

The best deli shop in the area. Great wine and cheese selection. Not to mention the staff is the best. Stop in and have a hand made sandwich with homemade bulkie rolls and slice to order deli meats and cheeses. Awesome spot for sure.

I’ve known these wonderful people for over twenty years Jean ,Mat and Calvin AKA as skin who recently passed. Jean makes the fresh rolls every morning for the sandwiches Mat slices the cold cuts and runs the register, and Calvin would keep u entertained with his vast knowledge of almost everything plus his jokes . There prices are reasonable cheeses are delicious try it you won’t be disappointed, tell them jimmy sent you!!!!!

One of the most interesting wine shops I have ever been in. Super unassuming building, but we found some real hidden gems wines. The attendant was very pleasant and fun.

One of the best sandwich shops in Maine. Hand-slices meats & cheeses and lots of toppings. The wine selection is wonderful. Snacks and cold drinks also available. Skin is an awesome guy and good conversationalist. My partner & I stop here often for picnic items for the beach.

Surely the most disgusting place in Wells. It's dark, hot and filthy. With meat left at the bottom the slicer, flies were having lunch!

Everytime I enter this place, I am greeted by a cool old guy who sits at the register, calls me Skin and gives me great life advice. Nobody cooler than this guy... Oh yeah real great sandwiches too Skin. Bout 6 dollahs.

The place has heart and soul. While it may appear to be a sad spot... it isn't. A ton of personality thanks to the proprietor and some great wine and cheese selections. I have been stopping in to for years more for a story or an elaborate joke plus those free samples at the register. More recently just one thing missing... it's the old man!

The shape of the building and the mouse on top caught my attention. The inside doesn't look so appealing. The prices are average. I didn't buy anything. Guess check it out for yourself is my best advice.

Freindly people, fast service, great sandwiches, cheese and meats cut fresh, bread is soft too. Good price for a sandwich and dont skimp out on meat or cheese.
