Waggerstown gave our 2 year old cavapoo the best cut she’s ever had. She tends to be nervous during baths and the drying process, even at home. Her groomer catered to her needs to help her feel more comfortable. She came home energetic, happy and looks fantastic. They really took their time and went the extra mile. I’m so pleased with the result. I highly recommend.

Tried Waggerstown grooming for the first time last week and my dog and I are very happy! My 9 year old silky terrier can be very anxious going into grooming appointments but came out happy as can be. Her haircut was perfect and exactly what I asked for. They even offer a teeth brushing service for a small additional cost which helped SO much with her stinky small dog breath! I was shocked at how much of a difference it made. Waggerstown will definitely be our regular groomer from now on!

spa day for bullie at waggerstown's new digs at wells corner--her first fluff 'n buff in a real grooming venue because thank god she has finally outgrown the kitchen sink. tara greeted us at the door and took skeptical bullie from 0 (timid army crawl) to 60 (exuberant tigger bouncing) in under 15 seconds. happy to be new regulars.this is a professional, nicely run operation. staff are friendly, patient, knowledgeable and, sigh of relief, sensitive to the particular needs of bracycephalic (smush-faced) "hot" dogs. no worries here. appts book about 2 weeks out with text reminders the day before. your groomer estimates time to completion, asks that you stay close (in case it's less, and it was), and you get a text when fluffy's done and ready for the runway. (DIY waggy wash services also are available on a limited basis. call for particulars.) ample parking right at the door.$50 for the works --shampoo, condition, blow dry, ears, nails, and lotsa love is a great deal (...said the kitchen sink, but i sense bias). bullie emerged happy, clean, and smelling like a meadow. just wanna stay home and smell my dog. not words we've ever said in this house.

I’ve been into Waggerstown for my dog’s food, leash, collar, travel water bowl, cool off bandana, t-shirts and other accessories. We have been complemented many times on the unique collar pictures here. Each time I am at the store I’m greeted with genuine enthusiasm and personable conversation. All of the supplements and products recommended worked out very well including a fish oil supplement and paw salve. The staff even offered to order a dog leash I was looking for that wasn’t in stock. So glad we have a local family owned business in town. You won’t regret a stop in this store! It’s chock full of unique, high quality and tempting things to pick up!

I scheduled an appointment for a wash and blow out only for our dog. I had talked to the manager at the time I scheduled and she quoted me a price of $50. When we arrived for the appointment the groomer asked if we wanted his nails done. I said no just a wash and blow out. The groomer said nails were included in the price. When we picked our dog up they said the charge was $80. I told them that we were quoted $50. The manager said she remembered talking to me and the quote being $50. Then the manager proceeded to say our dog got the full treatment and it was $80. This place scammed us and if I could give them zero stars I would.When the owner responded they were very unprofessional calling me Karen. When anyone asks me what kind of dog he is I always say. "He has the color of a beagle. Looks kind of like a hound dog and weighs about 75 pounds." I told them this exact thing when I scheduled. This business will take your conversation and twist it to fit their agenda. I am not a complainer and have never even wrote a review on any business before. I wrote this because they lied about the price.

Been going here for a while - they always do a great job, and my dog really doesn't mind going here. Great shampoo, nails, and all around making her smell/look good. Store is pretty well stocked, toys, treats and food for cats and dogs of all sizes.Would highly recommendUpdate: still just as happy - they do such a great job

Terrible experience. My first time with my older golden mix. I explained that he needed breaks because of hip and leg issues but they said 3 hours. He was getting shaved with his summer cut.After 4+ hours I called several times with no answer, no answer at the store either so I left a message that I was on my way to pick up my dog. He looked okay, but I noticed later a cut under his front leg and his head wasn’t done well. I punched in a 15% tip before they told me the cost was $250.!!!! With the tip it cost me $287.!!He was lame for 2 days so I’m assuming he wasn’t handled well. He’s a very mellow guy and very easy to groom by the way.I miss my old groomer.☹️I will never set foot in waggerstown again or ever recommend it to anyone.

Awesome experience! Took my two labs here yesterday for a nail trim. They were so accommodating in getting me in. The groomer did a fantastic job with the nail trimming and grinding. There is also a store next to the grooming salon which is stocked with food, toys, treats, and I’m sure much more. This is a definite stop for fur babies and their parents! It’s our new go to place for everything.

We booked grooming appointments months ahead because we were going to be travelling through the area. The day before we were informed that our appointment was cancelled and Waggerstown was going to reschedule us. We let them know we were only going to be here only one week and had an urgent need for grooming. The next day we hadn't heard back from them so we called and was informed they had no openings and they hadn't contacted us with a reschedule because they had the wrong phone number. How is it that they had the right phone number to begin with but the wrong one for a reschedule? We are only going to be here one week but they couldn't make any room in their schedule to make up for having to cancel. Cannot trust them to keep their appointments or make up for cancellations! Don't book with Waggerstown if you absolutely must get your pet groomed on a schedule.

We love going into Waggerstown. They have so many wonderful products. The owner is very knowledgeable and willing to help me decide which food or products will be best for our doggies. We also love to use the self dog wash. I love that they have everything you need and get this... they clean up after!!!! We have very big hairy dogs and I can’t tell you how happy I am to not have it all over my bathroom!! If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, friendly pet store that really cares, Waggerstown is your place!

Waggerstown is the only place to go for your pet supplies ….. and grooming. Mark and Sherri are wonderful. The selection of pet supplies is endless and Sherri’s knowledge of foods and all things around your pet is amazing. Our Bernadoodle, Bear, has been groomed by Steph for 5 years….would not want to take him anywhere else. This local business is the best and they care deeply about their human and “furry” customers.

I used the self dog wash. 25.00. They have a new machine where shampoo is added to the water and my dog was still dirty even after two washes in two rinses. Being a large dog i ran out of time for a 3rd wash. My dog is soft and shiny and smells pretty good. So save time and energy and bring your own supplies or buy from there awsome store.

The woman who grooms cats her (I think her name is Stephanie?) is INCREDIBLE. She's so good with my kitty, she got all the mats out of her fur and gave her a little bit of oil so now she's the softest thing I've ever touched. Great grooming place for the kitties!

We have been going to Waggerstown for the last 3 years and we love it there. Sherri is very knowledgeable about the products and is great with our 3 dogs. One of our dogs has special needs and she always takes time to find what will work for him. I would highly recommend Waggerstown to anyone with pets!

As soon as you walk in the door the staff is very welcoming and the store is well stocked for all your pets needs. They also offer grooming, for your pets of course. Very nice atmosphere.
