We just went and had brunch. Delicious homemade biscuits with sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, corn beef hash, and crispy bacon. All you can eat. They had pancakes, French toast, sausage patties, fruit, yogurt.... I mean, come on, can't beat it. Thank you for yet another awesome experience.Vegetarian options: They had a fresh out of the oven vegetarian breakfast pizza.

So glad I stopped in here when I saw the sign from the road!! The staff / owner were so sweet and friendly. The energy when you walk in the door just feels good. I got a breakfast sandwich and it was the best one I’ve had in a long time. I can’t remember what style the bagels are (Montreal?) but I think that’s what made the sandwich stand out. I’ll be back :D

Had some of the best triple chocolate cookies, cooked perfectly and the flavors blended very well. The cinnamon snail was the unexpected top pick of the items our family sampled. The apple turnover was heavenly flakey goodness, and the freshly made herb cheese bread was devoured within minutes. Excellent service, and plenty of great options to try!

We stopped by this place on our way to Arcadia tru New Hampshire and highly recommend visiting this bakery, it smells so fresh; something that we needed on our 11 day road trip. The best breakfast ever, also try their blueberry danish. We had some there and took few as to go.

A must stop, even if you're just driving through Wayne. Child friendly and plenty of seating if you want to eat indoors. Lots of take out options if you're on the go.Kid-friendliness: Lots of toys available for children to play with if eating in.

This was a great spot to get some local beers for our vacation. We also grabbed coffee and breakfast and sat out front; it was a nice and quiet morning, even being right off the main road. My partner had a cinnamon snail (pastry swirled with cinnamon) and it was AMAZING! I wish I had gone there every morning for those while we were there!

Wow! Great home baked items and fresh made food. For a snack or meal, enjoy there or take home. I eat there almost weekly and love it. Often I take things out for friends, family or just at home.

Hadn’t visited this place since my childhood. Much different now. Less of a general store and more of a small town bakery with home cooking. Had to try a donut and a blueberry danish. Both were excellent. I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality selection of beer for such a small town location. There was Dogfish Head and New Holland Brewing among others. Definitely worth the stop in and will have to come back.

Had great baked goods. There are frozen ones to go and fresh as well. Worth a stop and prices were good. Nice place to go. Don't pass by without a visit. You will fall in love..had a great greeting from the people inside.

Amazing sandwiches and super friendly staff. The cookies are so good I'm thinking it might be worth getting a little fat for them. Can't wait to stop in again next time I go for indoor golf in Wayne.

What nice people Julia and Ian are. Their food is fresh and delicious. Love the meals! You should get on the email list and order at least one supper a week! Our neighbors love the breakfast sandwiches. We also like the chicken BLT wraps. My husband visits for a coffee milk at least once a day. When I bake I am always going over for ingredients. If it is not on the shelf, they weigh it out and give me what I need from their supply. How cool is that!!??

We love the General Store in Wayne!! We have been going here for over seven years and it has never failed us. It is quaint and yet totally keeps up with the times. Whether you’re visiting, or a local or someone in between, The General Store is for you!! Julie, the owner, is such a hard worker, constantly improving things around the store and diversifies the menu and store lay out. Also very COVID-cautious!! Our latest rave is the coconut macaroons!! Yay! Thank you Wayne Maine’s General Store!! What a community staple.If you are lucky enough, you’ll be able to pick up a jar of her father’s maple syrup tapped himself in Maine!

I am amazed at the good reviews this place gets. We stopped in for breakfast once and it was the worst ever. from the coffee to the raw bagel. Perhaps they have hired a new baker? I sure hope so because wow!....

Hands down the best bagels from here to Boston! My girlfriend and I stock up every time we travel up to Wayne to see my parents. My favorite are their asiago bagels which are so moist and freeze really well.*Update, our bagel preferences have since changed, or the bagels have changed. Our new favorite bagels are near Boston at a bagel shop called Bagelsaurus.
