This is not the first time I have been in Waterville and seen messes like this. The amount of orders they stage on the sales floor is absolutely ignorant. Trying to get through the lumber area is a joke. People need room to move and get lumber and sheets of plywood SAFELY and put it on their cart. Now add the safety hazards and mess on the floor this is all unacceptable and a lawsuit in the making. Where is the training? Where is the pride in giving customers a good/safe shopping experience?

Only really good thing about Waterville Home Depot is that it's close and been in there so many times since remodeling my home cause only way you find what you need is yourself cause ask anyone where something is and it's like they just pick a isle number cause never do I find what I'm looking for where they send me and usually takes asking multiple people to finally find what I've come for! But I will say this the ladies in the outside garden department are always kind and greet you with a smile and wish you a good day as you leave so guess where I check out each time cause they don't look over your shoulder like you stolen something like I feel when I've used the self check out!!!!!!!

Had a good experience in appliances dept. Flooring was different. Two guys sitting at their desks, too busy to give me the time of day. I needed tile and wanted an oriental rug. I guess I'll go to my regular Home Depot and buy it there.

I had a rather unique plumbing situation involving an antiquated system.Thank goodness for Bruce Wayne (yes, his real name!) who took a look at my pictures, listened to my ideas (I was on the right track!), and knew exactly what parts would help resolve the problem, and had me on my way within a few minutes.His coworkers call him Batman; I call him a fantastic, personable, & knowledgeable employee!A short time & $12.52 later, my plumbing problem was fixed. He saved me a lot of💲💲💲 I would have spent by calling a plumber.

We were here to return a tool from another store. The staff were friendly and most helpful. Store was clean and well stocked. For mid season, the garden center was still brimming with stock. Very Pleased with our visit.

The two stars are due to my experience yesterday, normally it has been far better. I stopped in to pick up a couple of items and asked for assistance in finding what I needed from the employee covering electrical. From the start the man was rude, but worse than that he was extremely condescending. He also seemed quite put out that he was being bothered to assist a customer. He was abrupt and at the end, he deliberately sent me to an incorrect location to find what I had asked him for, saying it was definitely there. He is not any way an asset but a liability to an otherwise great company.

HD are pretty much all the same, but I give this one 4 stars. The little old lady up front (I think she works behind the "pickup" counter, not customer service) is exceedingly rude for no reason. She alone is the reason they don't get 5 stars. I put up with their website in-store inventory always being wrong, and it causing me to drive 30 min 1 way to them for nothing, on more than 1 occasion, but I can't stand rude employees.

If looking to do a project for the house or adding space through alternative means, this is the place to go. Grills, Garbage cans and garage accessories. If you can't find what you need here for home improvement... you will never be satisfied. The staff is great it this location. Never had an issue here finding what I needed. And on a plus side, If you own a Weber Grill in need of some attention, they have everything you need for a fresh start.

Let me preference this review with the fact that throughout this nightmare experience I was kind and polite the entire time and still got treated this terribly. I paid for a new stove online which included and advertised free delivery and installation. I paid an extra $30 to have the old stove hauled away. First attempt for delivery they went to the wrong address waited 5 minutes, and left. They then told me I’d have to wait another 20 days to get it redelivered. After three hours on the phone with them they finally agreed to deliver the following week. (Still seven days later for their own mistake.) once they finally arrived, the person delivering the stove informed me that they in fact, could not install it due to “licensing.” They use an outside warehouse company for delivery so the communication between them and Home Depot is terrible. I then asked them to remove the old stove that I paid extra for. They said they couldn’t do that either. So they just dropped off a stove, kept it in the box and left. I went in person to Home Depot the same day and explained the situation. Instead of taking responsibility or even calling a manager over they just called Home Depot customer service and kept me waiting an additional hour in person. The Home Depot call center that the store called told me I couldn’t refund the stove because it was past the 48 hour return/exchange policy. (It wasn’t, it had just been delivered 20 minutes prior. Although, it was a week late due to their warehouses incompetence.) So again, no communication between Home Depot and the warehouse they use. After all was said and done I finally got the $30 that I paid to have the old stove hauled away, refunded, and nothing else. However the Home Depot employees initial response when I asked her to refund the $30 (because they literally refused to do the service) was, “I don’t think I can do that.” Again, no manager was involved. This was a stove for my tenants and I will not be doing business with Home Depot EVER AGAIN for any large purchases. Out of the whole experience I never got an apology and Home Depot took no responsibility. It cost me an extra $800 in reimbursing my tenants for groceries, hiring people to install the stove and a different company to haul away the old one. Absolutely terrible experience, I highly recommend going elsewhere.

Just got done walking out of Waterville Home Depot and these two very nice gentlemen called Charles J and Richard offered to help load up my truck without me even asking. Very helpful and pleasant. Thank you!

It was great, got the window we needed and was out the door in no time. Small delay with one of the assistants near the self check out we were using. They were talking to their co-worker about someone else while the self check out flashed the customer needs help sign. Otherwise it was awesome.

I went and bought washer and dryer tubes and that following or same week I had an insurance adjuster come to my apartment for the building and was told that the tubes I bought were incorrect and I needed to buy a certain tube for the hot water and cold water Because rubber tubes are known to bust. I called home depot and told them that I didn't have my receipt anymore and was wondering if it was still possible to return these tubes. They then told me that They could swipe my card that I Purchase the tubes with and they can pull up past transactions and see that I bought the tubes within 90 days. I was able to return the tubes and they put the money right back on my card. they did offer to return it in cash. Whenever I need help at the store usually when you can find one the workers are super kind and offered to help as much as they can or find someone that can help you better.

I ordered a Air Conditioner it works great Shipping was very slow, it took 2 weeks before I could actually pick it up in Waterville. I order lots online and usually receive the product in 4-8 days very slow

Went in to buy a grill. They did not have the 1 on display in stock. No big deal happens everywhere these days. I asked about another more expensive grill on display, they don't even carry that grill or sell it in thier stores, or even online. It was reminiscent of bait and switch tactics of used car salesmen. Only went here because no lowes in waterville. Store was disorganized and seemed cluttered. Gave 2 stars because at least they were open, a hard feat to accomplish with today's paltry work force.

Been trying to get somebody in millwork on the telephone for a few days. They just don’t seem to answer the phone and I’m needing replacement windows. When I finally got to talk some, they were not helpful, and clearly didn’t seem interested in helping or selling me windows for my lakehouse.

It really is not that good of a place. Some departments don't get orders correct and I have had several issues trying to return things, especially when it is a product that was ordered incorrectly by a department and has to be delivered to you. Only go there because it is the only big supply store with some of those unique items in town. I prefer Lowe's.

We went looking for some gym floor tiles. They didn't have the ones they had advertised. The closest ones were only a 4 pack versus the 6 pack advertised. Long story short. You can't always get what you want. I still like this store for DIY'ers like me and my fiance.

Warning to anyone in Central Maine interested in getting windows installed from Home Depot... they don't have anyone to measure your windows for the area, no one will return your call, and you can't get any progress done on having the windows done because they can't get them measured! We paid over 2k so far to no one will help us out with this. If we knew our order for windows wouldn't be placed for a while due to not having someone available to measure then we would not have signed a contract.Update: it's now the day of installation that has already been rescheduled to a later time previously and now they have to reschedule for a different week. I received an email yesterday stating all the window fixtures had to be removed and furniture cleared before the installer arrives today. I did this and now we have no curtains or blinds until the new windows are installed. No offer for a discount and a poor excuse for having to reschedule again last minute. Never again will I use Home Depot for any installation or construction work. Big mistake on my part to not cancel this order from the get go.

I gave a 3 star rating for service. That is almost non-existent. Good thing we know what we are looking for and do not have to rely on help.FOLLOW UP ;THE 3 STARS WENT DOWN TO 1 STAR..Reason being the poor things have no clue as to which way they are going and their left hand doesn't know what the right is doing either. Their custom service is worse than Walmart if one can believe that..

You have the convenience of a lumberyard and everything you could find in almost any hardware store. Join the rewards program so you can earn rewards with your purchases. I joined and have received $50 towards a purchase. Great incentive because it would have bought these things anyway.

I almost never give a more than great score but today this store went above & beyond! First, I'm on crutches & an associate offered to get the item I wanted or bring me a motorized cart. Then when I told the managers the complement they gave me a discount on the merchandise! The service has always been great but today it was way above and beyond!! Thanks!!

They where really rude judgemental n I felt discriminated against, when I was at self check out a employee walked up n informed me that they will b checking my basket as well as my reciept b4 I leave. I said ok thinking they where joking especially considering a lot of other customers paying n then leave without anything, not me they matched every item in my cart to my reciept b4 allowing me to leave. I am so humiliated I will nvr go back
