I got the most comfortable sweater here a couple months ago. I’m a plus size gal so it’s hard to find clothes in my size sometimes. Marden’s always has what I need, and for a great price. The store is a bit disorganized, but you can find what you’re looking for easily despite the fact. And who knows, you might even find something you really like. I know I did. This store will always have a place in my shopping rounds.

Shopped around trying to find the right couch for us. Went to all the big box stores.Decided to check out Mardens again.Got the couch we wanted for literally half the price of everywhere else. No damages looks amazing came with 6 pillows.Couldn't be more pleased with the entire experience.

Martin's is a hit or miss place as to what you're going to find. I have been going for the past few weeks to check out what they have for furniture. This visit I found exactly what I wanted in a recliner as far as color. I ended up also purchasing a rug that I found there as well. This was an 8 by 10 rug and was on sale for $66 from 100 so I couldn't pass up the deal. Found a fabulous Buy on the second recliner at 349 for a lift recliner

The manager and security guard asked me why I was taking pictures and I explain to them I was taking pictures for Google maps then she was polite and nice to me after that ,the store was kind of dirty ,not very well organized, a lot to choose from but the quality On a scale 1 to 10 it’s probably a two,plenty of parking ,prices were low. But some things were crazy prices. It’s like a lawn sale my brother in-law said, messy.

Oh man... there's so many things I didn't buy when I saw them... butttttt a few that I did. Great place to find quality products at discounted prices. May have to yo back for some of that Fiskar gear.

All the staff appeared to be busy - was a very clean Mardens, which makes it easier to spend money! When the line to check out grew longer, they promptly opened another 2 registers, which was very much appreciated. I enjoy shopping at this location when im in that area.

I purchased 7 bolts of fabric recently. I noticed on my receipt that I was charged for 8 bolts. I don't drive to Waterville often, so I waited a couple of weeks to go to the store on my way home from NH. I didn't expect much, but the manager was able to view the tapes and confirmed I was overcharged. I was well taken care of.

You should buy it when you see it .it may not be there again . But great great prices . Brand name stuff. I never make it out of there with out buying so much for so little. Dog products you can't beat the prices. If you go offen you can really pick up such super deals ,but even for the occasion shopper get ready to save...... no can get out if there with out bargains you just can't pass up.

I took my wife here for the first time a few weeks ago. She said it was a little overwhelming but she did ultimately walk out with a decent number of items. It's fun to go in, walk around and see what they have added from the last time you were there.

Our first time at this chain store and I was pleasantly surprised. Their inventory changes daily. I ended up purchasing two dog beds that were originally $199.00 and paid $39.00 for the large bed and picked up a view other odds and ends. Will definitely go back!

Store is messy, not very clean, and it is difficult to find what one needs. The prices are not consistently better than in other stores. The employees are helpful all the time which is why the 3 stars are given.

We ended up here looking for acouch, I'm glad we did! The process was quick and easy. They had couches for all price ranges! The employee wrapped it in plastic wrap for the trip home which was nice as we traveled over an hour. The checkout was quick and they helped load it into the truck. We will definitely be back!

You could once get deals at Marden's, those days are gone. They should have a new Jingle... Should price check it, before you buy it, at Marden's. We happened to be in Waterville looking at tubs through H.W. web and after decided to stop at Marden's. They actually had a tub matching what we wanted and had just priced out at H.W. webs. But they wanted $100 more than we could buy it brand new. We asked if they could at least match the new price... Nope can't do that. So we will order brand new and wait 2 weeks for free delivery. We also found other items they wanted retail or more for. Not worth the time to even look anymore. I would give one star but the employees are friendly, management sucks.

Two days ago I spent over $300 at Mardens. I was having a perfectly lovely shopping trip until I went to collect my teenage son from looking at the toys after I had paid. The second I approached the doors with my clearly bought things in shopping bags I got the pleasure of being confronted at the door like a thief, apparently Mardens believes it can ask for receipts now. Listen, I show receipts when I sign a contract as a customer at BJ’s or Sam’s Club. I willingly signed up for that. This was disturbing that Mardens believes it has the ability to strong arm people as if it were Walmart. Walmart doesn’t even have that ability. They have been sued successfully for doing this. You have the right to ask, but I have the right to say no. I don’t quite understand the concept of the immense security measures The store takes with its cameras that you can’t be competent enough to discern somebody stealing from retrieving their child? What is the point of the cameras if you’re not actually using them Before you rush to judgment and make false accusations. You would think you would want to have accurate information, instead of your “feelings” that I may or possibly could have done something therefore you should just assume I did. The customer service at all locations is abysmal, and I have to tell you that this will be my last time shopping at the store. the thousands upon thousands of dollars I have spent over my lifetime of shopping loyally at Mardens isn’t Worth it to me. The sense of “all we care about are our profit losses, and not your shopping experience” was obvious and evident.

We went in to buy flooring the last hour that the store was open today. It took me 20 minutes to decide which one so by the time we found what we wanted it was 7:30. Luke was eager to help and extremely kind. He doesn’t know it but he made my night by being so kind even though it was almost time to close up shop. He deserves a raise. He had amazing customer service skills and did the job quickly and very pleasantly! Super nice guy. Thank you!

From soup to nuts, A to Z ....so many items, always great prices, there's nothing like Marden's for just about everything. Sure, it's a hot mess, but I shop for flooring, building supplies, occasional sporting goods, candy, electronics, and clothing, not the museum like experience. Mardens is the best for keeping children in school supplies, and hobbie items. Always an adventure, always good value.

Mardens has changed its pricing model since the last time I visited. It puts "original" prices on items, then tells you everything in a rack is discounted a certain percentage. I found some shirts I liked but I didn't know the brand. Even at 60% off, I didn't sense they were a bargain. A few bucks more and I would have taken a couple home.This method of stocking saves the company staff time when stocking. They also make a few extra dollars on the sale. But I didn't buy. It may have been a great brand, but if it isn't known, most folks should not take a chance. Those goods are distressed Sales for some reason. And Mardens still has a lot of stuff that's priced above normal retail. If you don't know the regular retail prices, leave it there until you check it out.

Always a fun place to shop as you never know what you'll find.Today, I purchased 3 fabulous & super comfy summer dresses (a steal at $9.99 each), a Liz Claiborne summer purse, a generously sized beach towel ($4.99), and a few other clothing items. Score!Seems the only place I'm able to find quality and age appropriate clothing is at Marden's and their prices are unbeatable.So, the purse I found was a one-off and was missing a price tag. It was also a little scuffed with black marks which I wasn't sure if I'd be able to remove. The service desk attendant was able to find the price which, in it's scuffed condition, was a little more than I cared to spend. A manager was called & after a brief discussion a reasonable price was agreed upon. Although I wasn't able to remove all of the black marks, there are only 2-3 on the front & sides which are small & barely visible; the worst ones are on the bottom- (who cares about that, right?) I'm happy to have finally found a great summer handbag and for less than $20!I've been a Marden's shopper for over 50 years and have fond memories of the Sunday family trips, at least once a month, from our home in Bangor to the store in Waterville.I've furnished a 4 BR home with quality furniture from Marden's, clothed my children from birth throughout adulthood, purchased several plants & rose bushes, home improvement items, foods, footwear, well, it would be easier to list items I haven't bought there: cars, pets. 😂If you see it & think you might want it- buy it as goods sell quickly. They have a hassle free return policy in case you change your mind once you get home 😉

Great experience and a big Thank You to the entire team. Matthew the manager, who helped me out getting what I needed for the winter. Caleb helped me assemble my bike rack and made sure all the parts were intact. I drove away w a bike rack on my van and a big smile on my face. Thank You for the professional experience and the nice sense of humor the staff has. Big smiles and great vibes. One of the nicest Marden's I have been to, but all the Marden's are a great place to get good deals. Happy Day. Joseph

Customer Service Desk area had patrons waiting in line blocking the entrance. 3 staff to find handsoap..#1 directed me to the back of the store past the furniture. #2 and #3 knew the vicinity. #3 was in the right aisle.

It's always a fun time to go dig through all the goodies there, especially during the holidays!! Stocked with great toys for a reasonable price.The jingle is the honest truth. "I should have bought it when I saw it, at Mardens!" I constantly find myself saying it! :)
