Expensive! Quoted me almost DOUBLE for a repair. Customer service was great though! I was able to set up an appointment online and correspond with someone on a Sunday! If it weren't for the price, I would've rated it higher.

I had to give this place a five-star rating as their customer service was outstanding. It was a cold rainy day and I was just visiting for a couple weeks from Texas on that cold front blew in all four of my tires dropped drastically in air pressure. I stopped in and they aired all four of them up and did not charge me anything now I know some might say it's just air and didn't really cost them anything. But they sent someone out in the colds and drizzle just to help someone out someone that was only their visiting and not a customer. For that this place definitely deserves a five-star rating fast friendly and great service I would highly recommend them to anybody buying new tires or having any kind of auto services done.

Great people to work with. I've used the towing service and repair service and have always had a positive experience. The last time I had service from Acre Tire was January of 2023. At that time my caravan was leaking brake fluid and I didn't have the time or the expertise to diagnose this properly myself. I was dealing with a family emergency at the time, so I took it to them. They got the caravan in diagnosed it, called me with what they found and the price for the repair. I got my caravan back the next morning. Everyone was polite and did a great job! I recommend them to people that are looking for a good mechanic in Waterville.

Just found out today the ripped me off again. Had something replaced a year and a half ago two years ago to find out they never replaced it. How do I know this because you can’t get the part in the same color it’s in originally! no wonder I still had problems with it after they supposedly replaced it. !!! Wow!!! Please nobody go here they are a joke!!! They will rip you off. So I made an appointment to get a left front wheel bearing done. They wanted to charge me $574!!! 106 for labor 430 dollars for a part!! Just one!! so I called them and told them that I found two wheel bearings for $70. so I would just like to have them install mine. I made an appointment waited a week I go to bring it in and they tell me they won’t install the part that I picked up. I called four other Garage’s and they had no problem installing a part that I picked up this place just wanted to make a 100% on a part and rip me off. Don’t go here!! any place but here.

We had a blow out on 95 N before the 120 exit, I had my two kids. Thankfully no one was hurt and no accidents caused! But the tow truck driver was prompt, friendly and and accommodating! When we just moved to Waterville, we went to them for some repair. They never show you the parts and say they threw it in a box of old parts and don't know which one is yours. How convenient! Second and last time we went to them, they had to call the parts supplier. Both my husband and I overheard clearly that the part cost 100 bucks and after the call a few seconds later, the guy told us only the part costs 400 bucks. We left! BEWARE - they will SCAM you big time.Update: Of course, you won't be happy with the review. If I got scammed by 2 garages, it is my duty to report it, whether you like it or not. People need to know or you guys need to start being honest. This is hard earned money that people spend at your place. Fortunately, we were able to find someone honest in town and used his services ever since. By the way, we used your services in early 2017 when you still had your car dealership.

I ended up going off the side of the road and messing my car up pretty bad. This tow guy, pulls over and offered assistance. So nice. He was great. He brought my daughter and I to McDonald's so we could wait for a ride home, and he brought my car to their shop. The shop guys were so nice and helped walk me through the process (I've never been in a car accident). Answered all my weird questions. They were super quick about working with the insurance company and getting my parts ordered right away. The office called me to give me updates and progress statues. These guys are great. I'd do business with them more often if I lived closer.

I actually own an auto repair facility/gas station in the Boston area and these guys saved me after I got a flat tire on 95 right before their exit. It was 4 o'clock on a Friday but these guys did not hesitate to help, even though they were busy. I would not hesitate to get my car worked on there, even though like I said, I own a similar place. I read some of their reviews and I would say take the bad ones with a grain of salt, it is not easy working on people's cars and keeping everyone happy. Happy to know there is a place away from home who is honest and can help if I'm in a pinch.

My experience at Ace Tire has been one of the worst of my life. When I brought my car in it drove fine-- when I drove it out it was broken. As soon as I left my tire came clean off and the car body dragged along the road. I was forced to stop in the middle of the road. If it was a busy road, I would have been hit, and my friend and I could have been hurt or even killed. When we spoke to the mechanics, they said they had simply forgotten to tighten the lugnuts. How could professionals have forgotten such a simple thing?! When I spoke to the manager and asked to be refunded some of the cost, he told us that nothing had happened, and never really apologized or even asked us if we were ok. He only gave us $100 off, but even that was a struggle-- when I said I wouldn't be returning, he said there would be no point in giving us a refund then. We were supposed to take a trip to Montreal, but now I don't feel safe driving my car, and have had to cancel my trip and have lost the money I spent on hotels. Unbelievably awful experience. Never go here. They do not care about the safety of their customers.

I have had repairs done by this shop in the past and they had treated me fairly. This time repairs were done without consulting us. Temperature was reading fine when we brought vehicle in when we picked it up it only would get to 140 degrees. Brought it back and they put new thermostat and actuator in without calling us. Just alot of unnecessary stuff they didn't want to own up to.

These guys are just amazing! couldn't ask for better customer service. I've had a rough time with our car over the past month or so we were in an accident they worked with our slow as he** insurance agent to speed up the process of getting our car back. I then brought it there to get an inspection after paying for repairs I was all good except for a tire that wouldn't pass. I didn't have any cash left to get a new one so they found me a used but good one out back and gave it to me only charged to put it on.. last week my power steering return line got a whole in it. my wife had to drive to work that night and I was nervous she wouldn't be able to get there. I called them up and explained the situation to them they had me bring it in and had it fixed in just a few hours. These guys are FAST Friendly and Honest.

Tried to change me for work I did not ask for and they didn't ask me before they did it. Also tried to tell me my brake light was out and wouldn't give me an inspection, only to get it home and find out there was nothing wrong with my brake lights. Went back a week later having done nothing to the light and they passed it and charged me again for the sticker. Not a happy customer, I would give 0 stars if it let me. I do not recommend!

The service is knowledgeable and quick. The people here are friendly. I get a lot of work done at this shop, so I would recommend it to anyone. However, the price is high. They can take care of pretty much any issue your vehicle might have.

Ace Tire & Auto Service towed my car on a Sunday, and left it at their shop until they could fix it the next day. Mitch, the guy who towed us, was very nice and polite. Rob, the guy I talked to on the phone was great too. My car was repaired before lunch the next day.I am not from around Waterville, but If I were, Ace Tire would be the repair shop I would continue to go to. Thank you.

I trust these guys with my car any day. I have been going to them since day one. They tell you exactly what is wrong with your car and fix the problem and you will never have that issue again. Very nice and honest group and guys who car about the customers and are looking out for them.
